Aldouane, NB - Albenie Richard, 89, of Aldouane, passed away at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne, December 13, 2008. He was the son of the late Albert and Eleanor (Robichaud) Richard. Albenie is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The last surviving member of his immediate family, he was predeceased by a sister, Nelda and two brothers, Adolphe and Ovila. The Funeral mass will be at 2 pm Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto.

Yvon Collette
1948-2008
Richibouctou-Village, NB - Yvon Collette, 60, of Richibouctou-Village, NB passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent, on Wednesday, December 24th, 2008. Born in Rexton, Yvon was the son of the late Meleme and Marie (Richard) Collette. He worked in the Forestry Industry.
Yvon will be sadly missed by his wife Aurella, 2 sons; Jody (Tina Warman) and Shawn (Margaret Hannay), 4 grandchildren; Jasmine, Alex, Dominique and Tristan, 3 sisters; Leona Hanrahan (Robert), Loretta Arsenault (Frank), Theresa LeBlanc (Alvin), 4 brothers; Zoel (Martha), Amedee (Cheryl), Raymond (Marianne), Jerry (Gisèle). Predeceased by 2 sisters; Delia & Theresa, 3 brothers; Albert, Ronald and Jean-Baptist.
Resting at St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village with visitation on Monday, December 29th, 2008 at 2:00 pm until time of funeral. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 29th, 2008 at 4:00 pm at the St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richiboucto-Village. Internment will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Eugene J. Caissie
1930-2008
Rogersville, NB - Eugene J. Caissie, 78, of Rogersville, NB formerly of Ayer and Shirley Massachusetts passed away on Saturday, December 20th, 2008 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, Miramichi, NB after a brief illness. Born on July 24th, 1930 to the late Edward and Madeline (Chaisson). Survived by his wife Idora of Shediac, NB and nine children. Sons and daughters-in-law, Louis and Rhonda of Shirley, MA and Roger and Irene of Pointe de Chene, NB. Sons Normand of Pepperell, MA, Steve of Rantoul, IL, Eugene Jr. of Lynchburg, VA. Daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Leon Eno of Lowell, MA, Joanne and John Tanner of Lunenburg, MA, Claire and Rick Stevens of Hudson, NH and Denise and Chris LeBlanc of Westminster, MA. Seventeen grand children and three great grand children. Two sisters and brothers-in-law Anna and Eugene Doiron of Moncton, NB, and Catherine and Alyre Doucette of Fitchburg, MA. He is predeceased by his sister Mary Caissie and brothers Calixte, Abel, Fred, Edmond and Medric.
Eugene worked as a woodsman in NB before moving his family to the United States in 1962 to work as a carpenter until his retirement, at which time he and his wife moved back to St. Ignace, NB. He loved the ocean and to fish and did clams, and in summer picking blueberries. He also loved country music and live local musical talent which he would travel weekends to enjoy.
As per Eugene’s wishes there will be no visitation. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 29th, 2008 at 4:00 pm at the St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, St. Ignace.

Juliette Daigle
1946-2009
POINTE-SAPIN, NB - Juliette Daigle, 62 years old, wife of Camille Daigle passed away at Dr. Georges-L Dumont Hospital on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2009.
She was the daughter of late Alfred Daigle and late Florence Daigle. She is survived by her husband Camille, one son Terrence (Marie) and her grand-children; Brandon, Joshua and Oetjgoaset; one brother; Roger Robichaud (Jeanne) and five sisters; Irma Richard (Paul-Émile), Alfreda ( Jean), Angéline Daigle Pointe-Sapin, Rosaline McIntyre (Thomas) Richibouctou-Village, Francine (Antonie) Irishtown.
She is predeceased by four brothers; Fernand, Réjean, Paul, Joseph and two sisters; Cécile and Maria.
Resting at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church slumber room in Pointe-Sapin. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 and Thursday from 9:00 am until time of funeral. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, February 5th at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dr. Georges-L Dumont Oncology Center. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).

Wilfred Arsenault
1917-2009
St. Charles, NB - Wilfred Arsenault, 92, passed away after a brief illness at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Wednesday, February 4th, 2009. Born in St. Charles on January 1st, 1917, Wilfred was the son of the late Fidèle and late Vitaline (Chevarie) Arsenault.
Wilfred will be deeply missed by his one daughter; Annette (Louis-Philippe) Leger, one son; Charles (Patricia) Arsenault, four grand children; Irene (Troy) Arsenault, Roger Arsenault, Serge (Chantal) Leger, Liette (Mario) Leger, two great grand children; Adele and Simon Leger, two sisters; Laudia (late Edouard), Marguerite (late Alex), and a very special friend; Aline Guimond.
Wilfred was predeceased by his wife; Irene Daigle, his second wife; Irene Gueguen, one daughter; Marie-Therese, one sister; Florida (Antoine) Melanson, and two brothers; Gonzague (Marie) Arsenault, Luc Arsenault.
Before retiring, Wilfred was self-employed as a farmer, and a woodsman amongst others. He was a member of the Saint-Charles and Richibucto Golden Age Clubs.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Sunday, February 8th, 2009 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, and Monday from 10 AM until departure for funeral. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 9th, 2009, 2:00 pm at the St. Charles Borromée R.C. Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. If so desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation, or to the Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Francis (Frank) Clement
1937-2009
ELSIPOGTOG, NB - Frank Clement, 71, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Sunday, February 8th, 2009. Born in Big Cove, he was the son of the late Isaac and Josephine (Watson) Clement.
Frank will be sadly missed by his one daughter, five sons, several grand children and great grand children. He was predeceased by wife, 2 sisters and 5 brothers.
Visitation will be at Frank’s home, 297 Big Cove Road, Elsipogtog. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 11th, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne’s R. C. Church, Elsipogtog. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Patricia Thibodeau
1949-2009
St. Louis de Kent, NB – Patricia Thibodeau, 59, of Cap St. Louis passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB on Sunday, February 8th, 2009. Born in St. Ignace she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Delphine (Richard) Thébeau. She attended St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church. She was well known and loved by all who knew her, she was kind and always willing to lend a helping hand.
Patricia will be sadly missed by her husband Désiré, her two daughters; Carole Vautour (Robert) and Rachelle Thibodeau (Arthur), one son; Ricky Thibodeau (Carla), four grand children; Angie Emilda Barrieau, Shaun Vautour, Micheala Jordan, Lukas Thibodeau, three sisters; Melina Marcoux Roy (late Charles) of St. Louis, Marie Louise Richard (Alyre) of St. Ignace, Noella Guimond (Telex) of St. Ignace, sister-in-law; Maria Thébeau, eight brothers; Hubert Thébeau (Yvonne) of Hinton, Alberta, Emile Thébeau (Andréa) of Manchester, CONN, Pierre Thébeau (late Marguerite-Anne) of Aldouane, Robert Thébeau (Lynn) of Oshawa, ON, Delphin Thébeau (Irma) of Lutes Mountain, Ted Thébeau (Jeanette) of Leominster, MASS, Josephat Thébeau (Robin) of Nobelton, ON, Amand Thébeau (Elianne) of Hinton, Alberta, and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by one sister; Delphine Thébeau, and two brothers; Elzear and Robert.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9, Thursday at 2:00 pm until departure for funeral. A funeral Mass will be held on Thurday, February 12th, 2009 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent.

Evelyn Daigle
1930-2009
ST. CHARLES, NB - Evelyn Daigle, 78, of St. Charles, NB passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Tuesday, February 10th, 2009. Born in St. Charles, she was the daughter of the late Luc and Annie (Arsenault) Daigle. Before retiring Evelyn was co-owner of Daigle Wood Working. She attended St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Charles Golden Age Club.
Evelyn will be sadly missed by her two daughters; Anne Marie Bastarache (Rhéal) of St. Charles, Nicole Thompson (Chris) of Quispamsis, one son; Roger Daigle of St. Charles, four grand children; Mathieu and Julien Daigle, Michael and Amanda Thompson, two brothers; Napoléon Daigle (Doris) of Saint John and Albénie Daigle (late Laurette) of St. Charles.
Predeceased by her husband Henri Daigle (1998), 6 sisters; Pauline, Véa, Elodie, Irena, Yvonne, Marguerite, two brothers; Mathias and Arthur.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday evening from 7-9, Thursday 2-4 & 7-9, Friday at noon until departure for funeral. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 13th, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. If so desired donations to the Parkinson's Foundation, Canadian Diabetes. Association or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)
