Francis Alexander Roberts
1929-2009
Targettville, NB - Frank Roberts passed away suddenly at home on May 24, 2009 at the age of 79. Born in Targettville, NB on September 23, 1929. He was the son of Alexander and Marguerite Roberts (nee Beers). Frank was along time employee of Chrysler Canada and moved to the family farm following his retirement in 1985. He was a dedicated member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Brown’s Yard, giving freely of his time to preserve the heritage of the church and promote the good of the community as well. He was an avid gardener who was always in search of the perfect potato. He was devoted to his wife Florence, and loved nothing more than to be surrounded by his family and friends. Frank always had a smile and a kind word for anyone he met, and his delight in his grandchildren and great grandchildren was unmatched. He will be dearly missed by his wife Florence and his children, John (Judy), Randy (Julie), Marilyn and Wade (Liz), grandchildren, Ann (Steven), Lee Ann, Kenneth, Kathleen, Nicole (Ron), Erin, Lindsay, Derek, and Heather, great grandchildren, Jordan, Travis, Dayna, Connor, Francis Leo, Edith and Randy, sisters Faye (late Mark Christie), Shirley (Stan McGovern), brothers, Kenneth (Ethel) and Russell (Lillian). Frank was predeceased by his parents and brother, Ronald and his wife Verna.
The funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Brown’s Yard on Thursday, May 28, at 2 pm followed by fellowship at the family home. In Frank’s memory, donations can be made to the St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery Fund, 140 Brown’s Yard, NB E4T 1W8. Arrangements are in the care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).

Mary Gladys MacDonald
1907-2009
Richibucto, NB - Mary MacDonald of the K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton and formerly of Richibucto, passed away peacefully, Friday, May 22nd, 2009 at the age of 102. Born in Richibucto, she was the daughter of the late Phineas and Mina (Farrer) Palmer.
Mary had been a School Teacher in Kent County for many years until her retirement. She will be sadly missed by her grand children, Chantelle, Scott and Shane. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by her husband, William J. MacDonald, son Myron and sisters, Ruth Inman and Muriel Palmer.
A Funeral Service will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto, Tuesday, May 26th, at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the Richibucto Anglican/United Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto.

Mary Evangeline Francis
1950-2009
ELSIPOGTOG, NB - Mary Evangeline Francis, 59, of Elsipogtog passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB on Sunday, June 21st, 2009. Born in Big Cove she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mary (Metallic) Sock. Evangeline was a kind and caring woman who was respected by all who knew her.
Evangeline will be sadly missed by her mother; Mary Sock, two daughter; Cora Francis, Melissa Francis, three grandchildren; Rainier, Ivanna, McKenna, one great grandchild; Christian, four sisters; Carmel Sock, Carla Sock, Jean Marie Sock, Amanda Sock, two brothers; George Sock, Joseph Jean Sock, and several nieces & nephews.
Predeceased by her husband; John Abraham Francis, daughters; Joanna Lynn, infant daughter Cornelia, two brothers; Gilbert Junior and Gordon Sock.
Resting at her home on Main Street, Elsipogtog with visitation beginning on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009 at 2:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 25th, 2009 at 10:30 AM, Ste. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangement in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Eugène Boileau
1920-2009
ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Eugène Boileau, 89, formerly of Moncton passed away peacefully at La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent on Monday, June 22, 2009. Born in Moncton, NB he was the son of the late Francois and Rachel (Bourgeois) Boileau.
Survived by one daughter; Catherine (Robichaud) Doucet, three grand children; Reginald Jr. Robichaud (Rebecca), Claira Robichaud (Tanya), Jacques Robichaud (Tamara), three great grand children; Katie, Justin, Jessica, Rheannen, one great great grandson; Damon, and one brother; Paul.
Predeceased by his wife; Laurette (Gallant) Boileau
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 7-9, Thursday at Noon until departure for funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 25th, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home (523-4252)

Lina Richard
1951-2009
ALDOUANE, NB - Lina Richard, 57, of Aldouane, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Sunday, June 21, 2009. Born in St. Charles, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Marianne (Ouelette) Chevarie.
Lina will be sadly missed by her common law spouse; Adrien Robichaud, mother; Marianne, one daughter; Monique Richard (Shawn Guimond) of St. Charles, one son: Pierre Richard of Moncton and their father; Fidèle Richard, 4 grandchildren; Zacharie, Samuel, Colombe, Mathieu, three sisters; Sylvie Smith (Allen) of Saint John, Rose Marchildon (Guy) of Richibucto, Geraldine Carr (Ricky) of Orillia, Ontario, two brothers; Patrick Chevarie Jr. of Black’s Harbour, Leonard Chevarie (Joanne) of St. Charles, and many nieces & nephews.
Predeceased by one brother; Louis Chevarie.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 7-9, Thursday 2-4 & 7-9.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 26th, 2009 6:30 pm at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic, Richibucto.

Dianne Daigle
1961-2009
REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN - Dianne Daigle, 47, formerly of Aldouane, NB passed away peacefully at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, SK on Tuesday June 23rd, 2009. Born in Bouctouche, NB she was the daughter of Clarence & Jeannette (Johnson) Daigle. Dianne had worked as a computer programmer for many years.
Dianne will be sadly missed by her mother; Jeannette, father; Clarence, two sisters; Joanne Daigle (Tony) of Prescott, Ontario, Gloria Robichaud (Georges) of Aldouane, niece; Chantal, nephew; Philippe, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Predeceased by infant twin brothers; Tom & Ben.
As per Dianne’s wishes there will be no visitation. Interment will be held at a later date in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Dianne’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all her very dear friends in Regina that offered comfort and support during her courageous battle with cancer. You all were angels to her. God bless you.

Dorothy Sock
1938-2009
ELSIPOGTOG, NB - Dorothy Sock, 70, formerly of Moncton passed away after a brief battle with cancer at The Moncton City Hospital, Moncton on Wednesday, June 24th, 2009. Born in Big Cove she was the daughter of the late Peter & Charlotte (Peter Paul) Sock. Dorothy had worked as an Enterpreneur.
Dorothy will be sadly missed by her brother; Dorrance Sock of Elsipogtog.
Resting at her home on Main Street, Elsipogtog with visitation beginning on Thursday at 2:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, June 27th, 2009 at 10:30, Ste. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Marie Anna Martin
1955-2009
POINTE-SAPIN, NB – Marie Anna (Robichaud) Martin passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Thursday, June 25th, 2009. Born in Pointe-Sapin, she was the daughter of the late Antoine & Josephine (Mazerolle) Robichaud.
Marie Anna will be sadly missed by her husband; Claude Martin of Pointe-Sapin, one daughter; Solange Martin (Gaston Daigle) of Pointe-Sapin, one son; Mathieu Martin of Pointe-Sapin, seven sisters; Claudia Boudreau (late Valmond) of Shediac, Hugette Thibodeau (Lévi) of Caraquet, Jeanne Gaudet of Aldouane, Georgette Clements (Frankie) of Shediac, Albéa Dugas (François) of Pointe-Sapin, Denise Robichaud of Moncton, Léonne Robichaud of Shediac, four brothers; Albain Robichaud (Laudia) of Dieppe, Antonie Robichaud (Francine) of Irishtown, Roger Robichaud (Jeanne) of Pointe-Sapin, Réjean Robichaud of St. Louis, and many nieces and nephews.
Anna Marie will also be sadly missed by her husband Claude’s mother; Thérèse Martin (late Louis) of Baie-Ste-Anne, two sisters; Norma Harriman (Blake) of Chatham, Lucia Manuel (Pierre) of Baie-Ste-Anne, three brothers; Gérard (Andréa) Martin of Richibucto, Paul Martin (May) of Baie-Ste-Anne, Louis Martin Jr. (Joanne) of Baie-Ste-Anne.
Predeceased by one sister; Josette, three brothers; Donald, Eugene, & Jean-Paul.
Resting at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church Hall, Pointe-Sapin with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9, Monday 2:00 pm until time of funeral. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 29th, 2009 at 4:00 pm at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-Sapin. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Donations to the Georges-L.-Dumont Oncology Unit would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)
