Roberte Vautour
1957-2009
SAINT-Ignace, NB - It is with great sadness that the family of Delphin Vautour and Juliana Comeau of Saint-Ignace wishes to inform you the passing of their daughter Roberte, on August 17th 2009, at the age of 52.
Roberte was greatly loved by her brothers and sister; Eric (Edna) Dieppe, Gilles (Violette) Bromont Qc, Régis (Blanche) Sussex, Réjean (Joan) Thetford Mines Qc, Eva (Fernand) Saint-Ignace and Maurice of Miramichi.
She will also be missed by Jules, Isabelle, Matthieu, Michael, Dina, Tammy, Georgina, Dion, Gisèle, Elizabeth, Julien, Jean-Marc and Edmée.
She also leaves behind many grand nephews and nieces, Andrew, Ethan, Marika, Jocya, Loric, Christopher, Samantha, Tania, Maya, Yanick, Charles and Eliane.
She was predeceased by her paternal and maternal grand parents and a sister by the same name, Roberte.
Roberte was a licensed practical nurse, her last place of employment was Le Foyer Saint-Antoine.
The family will receive family and friends at Le Club d’âge d’or de Saint-Ignace on Thursday August 20th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, and on Friday August 21st from 2 to 3h30 pm. A memorial service will be held on Friday August 21st at 4 pm at Saint-Ignace Church, interment will be at the local cemetery.
Contribution in memory of Roberte to l’Arbre de l’Espoir in lieu of flowers and plants due to allergies in the family and abstinence of perfume would be appreciated. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Sylvain Barrieau
1935-2009
ACADIEVILLE, NB - Sylvain Barrieau, 74, of Acadieville passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, August 16th, 2009. Born in Laketon he was the son of the late Urbain and Rosalie (Vautour) Barrieau.
Sylvain will be sadly missed by his two sisters; Emma (late Edgar), Suzanne (Marcel), two brothers; Edmond (Henriette), Antoine (Suzanne) and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister; Ida.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Wednesday from 7-9. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 20th, 2009 at 1:00 pm, St. James Roman Catholic Church, Kouchibouguac. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Anne-Marie Guimond
1953-2009
RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB - Anne-Marie Guimond, 55, of Richibouctou- Village passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent, on Friday, August 14th, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Born in Saint John, NB Anne Marie was the daughter of the late Emile & Anita Thibodeau.
Anne-Marie attended the St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village.
She will be sadly missed by her husband; Antoine Guimond, two sons; Daniel Richard, Maurice Richard, three grandchildren; Jeremy, Abigail, Taylor, one sister; Céleste Comeau, and one brother; Gerard Daigle. Predeceased by her first husband; Bernie Richard.
Resting at the St. Antoine de Padoue R. C. Church Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village with visitation on Sunday from 7-9 pm and Monday at 2:00 pm until time of funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 17th, 2009 at 4:00 PM at the St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village. Interment will be in parish Cemetery. Elmire (Mimie) Cail
1951-2009
MAIN RIVER, NB - Elmire (Mimie) Cail, 58, of Main River passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, October 17th, 2009. Born in Richibucto she was the daughter of the late Martin and Eva Richard. She was employed as cook and enjoyed being an entertainer.
Mimie will be sadly missed by her husband; Wayne, one daughter; Krystle Cail of Main River, one sister; Theresa Landry of New Orleans, ON, and one brother; Norbert Richard of Moncton.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9. A private family funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd, 2009. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Aurore Daigle
1926-2009
ST. CATHERINES, ONTARIO - Aurore Daigle, devoted wife of the late Arcade Daigle, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 after a short battle with cancer at her daughter’s home in Owen Sound, Ontario on Sunday, October 11th, 2009. Born in Pointe-Sapin she was the daughter of the late Leandre and Alice (Robichaud) Arsenault.
Aurore will be sadly missed by her two daughters; Edna Redmond (Mike) of Owen Sound, Rena Daigle of St. Catherines, three sons; Romeo Daigle (Anna) of St. Catherines, Rheal Daigle of British Colombia, Regis Daigle (Noreen) of Val Gagne, two grand daughters; Sonia Gagnon (Andre) of Niagara Falls, Tanya Redmond of Owen Sound, and two great grandchildren. She was also loved by grandchildren and great grandchildren of extended family members, five sisters; Eda Doiron (late Alban) of Richibucto, Yvonne Robichaud (Delphis) of Monton, Bertha Vautour (Walter) of Richibucto, Amanda Mazerolle (Leo) of Pointe-Sapin, Edna Robichaud (Albert) of Moncton, one brother; Aquilla Arsenault of Richibucto and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by one daughter; Veronica and one son; Romain, three brothers; Lionel, Louis and Tilmon.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9, Tuesday at 11:30 until departure for funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto on Tuesday, October 20th, 2009 at 12:30 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Léonard Savoie
1924-2009
RICHIBUCTO, NB - Léonard Savoie, 85, of Richibucto passed away peacefully at the Foyer Yvonisse, Ste. Anne de Kent on Wednesday, October 14th, 2009. Born in Lincoln, Maine he was the son of the late Prudent B. and Marie Jeanne (Basque) Savoie of Neguac. Léonard served overseas in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 30, Richibucto.
Leonard will be sadly missed by one sister; Jeannette Joly (Jean-Jacques) of Ottawa, one brother; Alphonse (Antoine) and dear friend Marge of Moncton, sister-in-law; Jeannette Savoie and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister; Lorraine, one brother; Adélard, and one nephew; Jean-Claude.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home with visitation on Monday from noon until time of funeral. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 19th, 2009 at 2:00 pm, Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent or NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

James Beers
1932-2009
BEERSVILLE, NB - James Beers, 77, of Beersville passed away at The Moncton City Hospital on Monday, October 12th, 2009. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Thomas and Augusta (Roberts) Beers. James was a proud member of the St. James Presbyterian Church, Beersville, and worked for INCO in Sudbury Ontario for 36 years.
James will be sadly missed by his wife Ethel (Lynds) Beers of Beersville, two sons; Allan James Beers (Sandra) of Sudbury, ON, Gary Ross Beers (Francoise) of Kelowna, BC, ten grandchildren, one sister: Irene (Dolly) Blakney of Riverview, two brothers; Carmen of Calgary, AB and Everett of Edmonton, AB. James was predeceased by his step-mother Stella (Cail) Beers, his daughter; Brenda Lynn, three brothers; Edward, Lloyd, Warren, and two sisters; Dorothy, and Margaret.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9. There will also be visitation at St. James Presbyterian Church, Beersville on Friday at noon until time of funeral. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 16th, 2009 at 2:00 pm, St. James Presbyterian Church, Beersville with Rev. A. D. Sutherland officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
