Saint Charles, NB - Gerard Morang, husband of Marie Geneva (Chevarie) Morang of Saint Charles passed away at The Moncton Hospital, Saturday, October 10th, a t the age of 77. born in Saint Ignace, he was the adopted son of the late Phelicien and Elise Babineau.
Gerard will be sadly missed by his wife of 54 years, Marie, daughter, Marlene Morang of Canaan Station, four sons, Ernest (Corinne) of Canaan Station, Dave of Saint Charles, Richard (Christine) of Saint Charles, Dennis (Karen) of Miramichi, 1 sister, Delia Babineau of Bouctouche, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will not be any visitation or viewing. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Charles Borromeé Roman Catholic Church, Saint Charles Tuesday, October 13th, 2009 at 12:30 pm. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).

Conrad Robichaud
1961-2009
ALDOUANE, NB - Conrad Robichaud, 48, husband of Maureen Vautour of Aldouane passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 6th, 2009 at the Stella Maris Hospital, St. Anne de Kent. Born in Rexton, NB, he was the son of the late John and Emerise (LeBlanc) Robichaud. Conrad was a fisherman by trade and an avid hockey player as a kid.
Conrad will be sadly missed by his mother Emerise, wife Maureen, four daughters; Carla (Lanny) and Carmen (Raymie) of Elsipogtog, Susie (Yves) of Dieppe, Erica (Jason) of Rexton, two sons; Jessie of Aldouane, Bradley (Samantha) of Dieppe, four brothers; Allison (Denise) of Aldouane, Rheal (Gary) and Ronald of Toronto, Norman (Theresa) of Miramichi. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Conrad was predeceased by his father John P. Robichaud.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9, Friday at 11:00 am until departure for funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th, 2009 at 1:00 pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Cloris Cormier
1929-2009
ALDOUANE, NB - Cloris Cormier, 81, of Aldouane passed away accidently on Friday, October 2nd, 2009. Born in Claire-Fontaine he was the son of the late Edmond and Elise (Martin) Cormier.
Survived by four sisters; Yvonne Vautour (Jackie) of Claire Fontaine, Maria Leclaire (Fernand) of Alladrville, Lisa Cormier of Bouctouche, Barbara Cormier and four brothers; Walter Cormier of Aldouane, Allison Cormier of Aldouane, John Cormier of Aldouane and Frankie Cormier of Salisbury. Cloris will also be sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by one sister; Odia Cormier, two brothers; Tilmon Cormier and Elie Cormier.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9, Wednesday at noon until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto on Wednesday, October 7th, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery. Lucien Comeau
1935-2009
ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Lucien Comeau, 73, of St. Louis de Kent passed away peacefully after a long illness on Monday, October 5th, 2009 at the Villa Maria, St. Louis. Born November 2nd, 1935 he was the son of the late Lucien and late Julienne (Tremblay) Comeau. He had worked for 25 years at Kouchibouguac National Park prior to his illness.
Lucien will be sadly missed by his loving wife Jeannine (Robichaud) Comeau of St. Louis, three sons; Vincent (Cheryl) of Calgary, Danny (Colette) of Fredericton, Jimmy (Pauline) of Lakeville, three daughters; Patsy (Paul-Emile) of Aldouane, Carole (John) of Vancouver and Anne-Marie (Donald) of Aldouane, two brothers; John (Régina) of St. Louis, Emile (Lydia) of St. Louis, one sister; Marie (John Vella) of Toronto. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by three brothers; David, Antoine and Albert, two sisters; Marguerite and Emma.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4, and 7-9, Thursday at 2:00 pm until departure for funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis des Francais Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent on Thursday, October 8th, 2009 at 4:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
If so desired donations to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. The family also wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the nurses and staff at the Villa Maria and to Dr. Boucher for their care during his final years. Your comfort and support shown to us will always remain in our hearts.

Alexina Richard
1931-2009
St. Ignace, NB – Alexina Richard, wife of Emile T. Richard, passed away at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne surrounded by her family, Sunday, September 27th, at the age of 78. She was the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Madeline (Gallant) Richard.
Alexina had been employed at La Villa Maria, St. Louis as a Nurses Aid for 10 years and was a member of the St. Ignace Golden Age Club. Alexina will be sadly missed by her husband of 60 years, Emile, two daughters, Annette Johnson (Robert) of St. Ignace, Yvette Richard (Gordon) of Edmonton AB, five sons; Livain (Berthe), Guy (Gisele), Jean-Yves (Roberte), Gaston (Yvette), Armand (Debbie) all of St. Ignace, thirteen grand children, Sylvette, Lucien, Colette, Yves, Pascal, Josée, Chantal, Sylvie, Jean-Marc, Joshua, Alexandre, Emelie, Christine, seven great grandchildren, Dylan, Jacob, Alex, Noah, Caleb, Chloe, Miguel. She is also survived by six sisters, Aurelie Daigle (late Gerald) of Massachusetts, Bertha Fournier (Jean) of Montreal, Flora Leger (late Ulyse) of New York, Rose-Mai Gallant (Yvon) of St. Ignace, Eugenie Babineau (Alfred) of Saint John, Yolande Richard (late Elmo) of Richibucto, seven brothers, Wilfred (Marie) of Massachusetts, Gerard (Maria) of St. Ignace, Francois (Dina) of Massachusetts, Laurie (Delcia) of St. St. Charles, Emerie (Marianne) of Massachusetts, Yvon (Roberta) of Richibucto, Paul-Emile (Gisele) of St. Ignace and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Emilie, Zelia, Gemma, three brothers, Irenée (Marguerite), Camille (late Lucie), Edmond (late Jeannine) and a grand daughter, Joelle.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home. St. Louis with visitation on Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Tuesday, 2 pm until departure for funeral. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, St, Ignace, Tuesday, September 29th, 2009 at 4 pm. Interment in the parish cemetery. If so desired, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in the care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).

Elise Babin
1916-2009
St. Louis de Kent, NB – Elise Babin, 93, of St. Louis de Kent passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Thursday, December 3rd, 2009. Born in St. Louis de Kent she was the daughter of the late Maximin and Vitaline (Vautour) Comeau.
Elise will be sadly missed by her daughters; Marie Vautour (Vital) of St. Louis, Cécile Bernard (Gérard) of Rogersville, Elisa Babin of St. Louis, Noella Doucette of Moncton, and Victoria Babin (Alonzo Carroll) of St. Louis, who was raised as her daughter, sons; Albert Babin of Bouctouche, Lionel Babin (Nora LeBlanc) of Moncton, Donald Babin (Huguette Ferland) of St. Charles, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband; Pierre Babin, daughters; Gloria Babin, Aline Doucette, Yvonne Babin, son; Maxime “Marc” Babin and sister; Alida Comeau.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9, Sunday 2-4 and 7-9, Monday at 9:00 am until departure for Funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Louis des Francais Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent on Monday, December 7th, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. ST. CHARLES, NB – Joseph Fidèle Richard, 91, of St. Charles passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent, on Saturday, November 14th, 2009. Born in St. Charles he was the son of the late Luc and Suzanne (Chevarie) Richard.
Fidèle will be sadly missed by his wife Herculine Allain- Richard, 8 daughters; Irène Richard of St. Charles, Emerise Robichaud (Eloi) of St. Charles, Maria Blanchard (Albert) of St. Charles, Imelda Babineau (Luc) of Barnesville, Eva Daigle (late Eloi) of St. Charles, Cecilia Daigle (Joseph) of St. Charles, Rita Hébert (Joseph) of St. Charles, Janice Richard of Moncton, 7 sons; André (Alida) of Bloomfield, Louis of Oshawa, On, Francis of St. Charles, Robert (Gloria) of Campbellton, Vincent (Linda) of St. Charles, Arsène of St. Charles, Antoine of St. Charles.
The last surviving member of his immediate family, he was predeceased by his first wife; Regina (Martin) Richard, 1 son; Paul, 2 sisters; Léah (late Joseph Pellerin), Emélia (late Charlemain Vautour), 1 brother; Thadée Richard.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9, Monday from 2-4 and 7-9, Tuesday at 11:00 until departure for funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 17th, 2009 at 1:00 pm, St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)
