Beulah (Gamble) Cochrane
1915-2010
On January 8, 2010 after 94 years of gardening on Earth, Beulah Cochrane peacefully went home to be God’s chief gardener.
Born April 8, 1915 in South Branch, New Brunswick, Beulah was the daughter on the late Ida (MacDougall) and Hamilton Gamble. Beulah was marred to the love of her life for 60 years, the late Donald Cochrane Sr.
Beulah was a homemaker, a wonderful cook, an amazing quilter, a babysitter for many special children throughout Kent County but first and foremost she was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her sons; John (Moncton, NB), and Richard (Elaine, Riverview, NB) and by her five grandchildren; Donald Jr. (Maxine, Riverview, NB), Craig (Rob, Toronto, ON), Tracey (Saint John, NB) Dennis (Peggy, Riverview, NB), Rebecca (Matt, Memphis, TN), and the apple of her eye, her great granddaughter; Hannah Grace (Saint John, NB). Beulah also leaves behind several nephews and nieces, especially one very special nephew Blaine (Melda) Collette of Richibucto, NB, as well as many wonderful friends. She will be missed by her beloved little dog “Toby” who she truly enjoyed.
Beulah is also survived by her extended family - the staff, residents and her special roommate and friend (Rita Surrette) of the Grass Special Care Home in Riverview where she resided the last year and a half.
Beulah was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 1:00 pm, Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto. Interment will be in St. John’s United Cemetery, West Branch. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Paul Robichaud
1953-2009
ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB – Paul Robichaud, 56, of St. Louis, passed away at his residence, on Tuesday, December 15th, 2009. Born in Rexton, he is survived by his parents Exubé and Lorraine (Blanchard) Robichaud.
Paul will be sadly missed by his daughter; Christina Robichaud (Maurice) of St. Louis, four sons; Jean-Marc (Mélissa), Paul (April), both of St. Louis, Arthur (Anne Marie) of Scoudouc, and Paul Wright (Simonne) of St. Louis, and their mother; Madeleine Robichaud-Steever. He will also be missed by six grandchildren, and one expecting. He also leaves behind 3 sisters; Rina Babineau (Jean-Guy) of St. John, Jeannita Doiron (Marcel) of Cap-Pelé, and Pauline Belliveau of Memramcook, and five brothers; Gilles (Cécile) of St. Charles, Claude (Murielle) of St. Charles, Zoel (Denise) of Moncton, Roger (Denise) of St. Charles, and Denis Gallant of St. Charles, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Resting at Thompson’s Memorial Home, St. Louis, with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9, and Friday from 11AM until departure for the funeral. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 18th, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. If so desired, donations to the family or to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Michael Dedam
1938-2009
ELSIPOGTOG, NB - Michael Dedam, 71, of Elsipogtog passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 17th, 2009. Born in Big Cove on June 28, 1938, he was the son of the late Frank Dedam and Mary (Augustine) Dedam.
Michael is survived by his first wife; Mary E. Dedam-Sock, two sons; Larry Dedam, Lawrence Dedam (Colleen), four daughters, Priscilla, Linda, Marjorie, Donna, two brothers; Stevie Dedam, Noel Dedam, two sisters; Jane Alice Dedam, Susie Clement and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his second wife; Florence (Sanipass) Simon Dedam, his sister; Eva Milliea (Raymond), his brothers; Alfred Dedam (Janet), John Dedam (Madeline), and two sons; Little Joe Dedam and Frank Dedam.
Resting at his home on Main Street, Elsipogtog with visitation beginning on Saturday, December 19th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Ste. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog on Monday, December 21st, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Thompson Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Bernard (Babe) LeBlanc
1939-2009
RICHIBUCTO, NB – Bernard (Babe) LeBlanc, 70, of Richibucto passed away peacefully at La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent on Friday, December 18th, 2009. Born in St. Anne de Kent, he was the son of the late Leo C. and Laurette (Allain) LeBlanc. Bernard served in the Canadian Army for 25 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 30, Richibucto.
Bernard will be sadly missed by his step daughter; Nancy Poirier of Montreal, step grandchildren; Neil and Steven Fisher, sisters; Rhea Greene (Bob) of California, Jeannette Richard (Leonide) of Richibucto, brothers; Lionel (Margaret) of Rexton, Charles of Montreal and several nieces and nephews.
Bernard was predeceased by his brother; Normand and his sister; Alphonsine.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Tuesday at 11:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto on Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the Kent Family Violence Prevention Center or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Idora Marie Caissie née Gallant
1929-2010
St. Ignace, NB - Idora Caissie of the Villa Providence Shediac and formerly of St. Ignace, passed away peacefully at her residence, Friday, January 29th at the age of 80. Born in St. Ignace, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Exilda (Richard) Gallant. Idora had a great love for life, her friends, the ocean, Cajun music, laughing and dancing. Above all Idora loved being a Mother and “Memére” and was a woman of very strong faith.
She will be sadly missed by her children; Diane and Leon Eno of Lowell, MA, Normand Caissie of Fort Meyers, FL, Louis and Rhonda Caissie of Shirley, MA, Roger and Irene Caissie of Shediac, NB, Joanne and John Tanner of Lunenburg, MA, Claire and Richard Stevens of Hudson, NH, Steve Caissie, Payton IL, Denise and Chris LeBlanc of Westminster, MA, Eugene Caissie of Lynchburg, VA, 18 grand children, several great grandchildren. Idora is also survived by sisters; Yolande Gallant (late Adrien) of Bellville, ON, Madeline Fontaine (late Euclide) of St. Louis de Kent, Sylvia Mercier (Sterling) of Sterling Heights, MI, Jeannette Daigle (Normand) of Moncton, Juliette Lirette of Shediac, Rosa Gallant of St. Ignace, brothers; Alderic Gallant (Camilla) of Moncton, Eusebe Gallant of Lewiston, ME, Emile Gallant (Madelaine) of Dieppe, Delphin Gallant (Roberte) of St. Ignace, Gerald Vautour of Sebbatus, ME, Maurice Gallant (Simone) of St. Ignace.
She was predeceased by her husband; Eugene Caissie, one sister; Antoinette Vautour and two brothers; Paul Gallant (Julia) and Alba Gallant. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010 at 11:00 am, St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, St. Ignace. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Clementine (Robichaud) Arsenault
1921-2010
ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB – Clementine Arsenault, 88, of St. Louis de Kent passed away peacefully on Monday, January 25th, 2010 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in St. Louis de Kent she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Clementine (Vautour) Robichaud and her adopted parents the late Fred and Marie Luce (Maillet) Vautour.
Clementine will be sadly missed by her two daughters; Dorice (Guy) Landry of Lakeville, Noëla (Kitt) Arsenault of Moncton, son; Germain (Martina) Arsenault of St. Louis, five grand children; Mario, Sophie, Maurice, Rachelle, Ricky, eight great grand children; Jonathan, Shanelle, Josiane, Mélanie, Mélodie, Gabrielle, Marcelle, and William, sister; Marie-Luce Arsenault (late Joseph) of Moncton, sister-in-law; Ida (Albert) Robichaud of Richibucto.
Clementine was predeceased by her husband; Marcel Arsenault, grandson; Yves, great grandson; baby Yves, daughter-in-law; Bernice, three sisters; Marie-Anne, Marguerite, Lucie, two brothers; Firmin, Fidèle, half sisters; Rosaline, Marie, and half brothers; Edmond and Arthur.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9, Friday at 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 29th, 2010 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Lucy Mary Richard
1916-2010
ALDOUANE, NB - Held by her loving family, Lucy Richard, 93, of Aldouane passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31st, 2010 at the K. E. Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton. Born in Cap Lumiere, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Rose (Hebert) King. Lucy worked as a sales clerk for Kresges Department Store and also the National Bakery for many years.
Her presence on this earth will be remembered by the many lives she touched and her many kind and loving ways.
Left to celebrate her life are her two daughters; Jeannine of Aldouane, Dianne Richard-Maggioni (François) of Hamilton, ON, two grandchildren; Jodie Brearley Barnes (Matthew), Craig Richard Brearley, five great grandchildren; Nicole, Sydney, Bailey, Jamie, Corey, all of Cincinnati, Ohio, three sisters; Antoinette Chevarie, Marie Daigle, Dorina Comeau, four brothers; Edgar King, Alphonse Roy, Alyre Roy, Levi King.
Lucy was predeceased by her husband; Joseph Alcide Richard and her granddaughter; Julie Anne Brearley.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9, Thursday at 11:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 4th, 2010 at 1:00 pm, Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)
