ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Imelda Thibodeau, 85, of St. Louis de Kent passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her residence on Sunday, January 31st, 2010. Born in Adamsville, NB she was the daughter of the late Joachim and Marie Elise (Arsenault) Gallant. Imelda was a founding member of the Charismatic Order, and a member of the Dames de Ste. Anne. She was an active volunteer with her church and community. She will be sadly missed by her prayer group friends.
Survived by her two daughters; Francine Bernard (Jean-Pierre) of Charlo, Leonie Vautour (Arthur) of St. Louis de Kent, five sons; Leonard of Winnipeg, Désiré (late Patricia) of St. Louis de Kent, Francois of Aldouane, René (care giver) of St. Louis de Kent, Edouard (Wendy) of Rexton 14 grandchildren: Renée LeBlanc (Marc), Josée Morin (Patrick), Denis Bernard, Ricky Thibodeau (Kayla), Carole Vautour (Robert), Rachelle Thibodeau (Arthur), Julien Thibodeau, Marcelle Thibodeau, Christopher Thibodeau, Celina & Babha Thibodeau, Emelie Thibodeau, Mathieu Vautour, Annie Bourgeois (André), 10 great grandchildren; Shawn, Angie, Lucas, Makala, Olivier, Julien, Alexia, Jazelyn, Sima, Aliya, several nieces, a nephew and cousins from Joggins and Amherst.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, Imelda was predeceased by her adopted parents; Willie and Rose-Ella Arsenault, husband; Valmore Thibodeau, one sister; Rita Gautreau, two brothers; Edmond and François.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9, Wednesday at 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis des Francais Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Susan (Doucet) Hebert
1958-2010
CANISTO, NB – Susan Hebert, 51, of Canisto passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010. Born in Moncton she was the daughter of the late Selime and Florence (Kelly) Doucet.
Susan will be sadly missed by her husband; Donald Hebert, two daughters; Jennifer Fougère (Todd) St. Martins, Beverly Sue Doucet (Laurent) of St. Antoine, two grandchildren; Emily Sue Fougère and Megan Doucet, six sisters; Linda Daigle (Tom), Anna Cormier (Romeo), Bernadette Hebert (Edgar) all of Kouchibouguac, Diana Colepaugh (Danny) of Saint John, Hilda Simard (Rejean), Shirley Doucet (Michel) both of St. Louis de Kent, four brothers; Danny Doucet (Rina), Arthur Doucet (Debbie), Ricky Doucet (Colinda) all of Aldouane, Pat Doucet of Kouchibouguac.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9, Friday at 11:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 29th, 2010 at 1:00 pm, St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles. Interment will be in the Claire Fontaine R. C. Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Renelle Ouellet
1982-2010
MONCTON, NB - Renelle Ouellet, 27, of Moncton passed away at her residence on January 13, 2010. Born in Moncton she was the daughter of Onil and Rose-Marie (Mazerolle) Ouellet.
Renelle will be sadly missed by parents; Rose-Marie, and Onil of St. Ignace, her grandparents Léo (Amanda) Mazerolle of Pointe Sapin, Joseph (late Mélina) Ouellette of Shediac, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Monday from noon until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent on Monday, January 18th, 2010 at 2 pm. Interment will be in the St. Ignace de Loyolla parish cemetery at a later date. Donations to the family or to Muscular Dystrophy of Canada would be appreciated by the family. Albenie Daigle
1916-2010
ST. CHARLES, NB - Albenie Daigle, 93, of St. Charles passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Sunday, January 3rd, 2010. Born in St. Charles he was the son of the late Luc and Annie (Arsenault) Daigle. Albenie served in the Canadian Army during WW 2 and was a member St. Charles Golden Age Club.
Albenie will be sadly missed by his daughters; Aggie Johnson (Frederick) of St. Charles, Jeannette Daigle of St. Charles, Gisele Richard (Gilles) of St. Charles, sons; Ronald Daigle (Irene) of St. Charles, Eloi Daigle (Doreen) of Moncton; fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, brother Napoleon Daigle (Doris) of Saint John, brother-in-law; Emile Daigle of Saint John, sisters-in-law; Annette Daigle of St. Charles, Diana Robichaud of Richibucto and Jeanne d’Arc Robichaud of Quebec, and many nieces and nephews.
Albenie was predeceased by his wife; Laurette (Robichaud) Daigle, sisters; Elodie, Marguerite, Evelyn, Pauline, Irèna, Yvonne, Véa, and brothers; Matthias and Arthur.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9, Wednesday at 10:30 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 6th, 2010 at 12:30 pm, St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, St. Charles. Interment will be the parish cemetery at a later date. Donations to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Joseph Etienne Firmin Nowlan
1918-2010
ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Firmin Nowlan, age 91, of St. Louis de Kent, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 3rd, 2010 at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent.
Born in Pointe- Sapin, he was the son of the late George William and Célina (Daigle) Nowlan and raised by Francois and Exilda (Lebouthiller) Robichaud. Firmin had served with the Canadian Army during W.W. 2 from November 14, 1941 to September 26 1945.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Irène (Daigle) Nowlan, daughters, Linda Devine (Tim), Diane Dalglish (Steve), Annette (Clarence McGrath) Nowlan, sons, Armand (Janet), James (Jimmy) Nowlan, 12 grandchildren, Daniel, Andrew, Michael, Brent, Tanya, Teralyn, Patrick, Trudee, Kristopher, Jenifer, Justin, Samuel, and 9 great grandchildren, Noah, Gabe, Sarah, Alivia, Sophia, Desiree, Chelsea, Jaymes, Alisha. He was also survived by 2 sisters, Délima Vizzacara, Alice Batten, 2 half sisters, Martina Vautour, Edmire (Normand) Richard and half brother, Adelard Robichaud.
Firmin was predeceased by a sister, Melinda, half sisters, Elodie, Charlotte, Dorothy, brothers, Alex, Joseph, and half brother, Onésime, step brothers; Edward, Placide and Levi.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Wednesday 2 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent, Wednesday, January 6th, 2010 at 4 pm. 1926-2009
ALDOUANE, NB – Adélard Richard, 83, of Aldouane passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, St. Anne de Kent on Monday, December 28th, 2009. Born in St. Charles, he was the son of the late Maxime and Élise (Daigle) Richard.
Adélard will be sadly missed by his daughters; Odette Richard (Elmard) of St. Louis, Janice Ferron (Hédard) of Dugas, sons; Norman (Marie) of Aldouane, Donald (Denise) of Rexton, grand children; André, Mario, Marco, Rémi, Manon, Kevin, Nadine, Mélissa, Anise, Marc, great grand children; Janelle, Samuel, Jasmine, Haley, Kaleb, Maïka, Jacob, Joshua, sisters; Nadia Gallant (Alyre) of Moncton, Marguerite Daigle (late Émile) of Saint John, Maria Gallant (late Livain) of St. Louis, several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife; Edith (Daigle) Richard, three brothers; Léo, Benoit, and Albert Richard.

Martial Henri Daigle
1914-2009
RICHIBUCTO, NB – Martial Daigle, 95, of Richibucto passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent on Saturday, December 19th, 2009. Born in Richibucto he was the son of the late Jacques and Agnes (Turmel) Daigle. Martial worked as a fisherman for over 55 years and retired at the age of 72. He was the Richibucto Harbor Master for many years. He was a honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree, Richibucto Golden Age Club, he was the last surviving founding member and past president of the Richibucto Coop, and a strong member of the Conservative Party. He was a “Bon Vivant” and enjoyed life to the fullest, especially fishing and hunting.
Martial will be sadly missed by his wife of 23 years; Reina (Richard) Daigle, daughters; Joan (Gerald Duggan) of Montreal, Marguerite (Pierre Paquette) of Richibucto, Annette (Paul Brideau) of Richibucto, sons; Louis (Patricia) of Montreal, Eugene of Moncton, nine grandchildren; Lynda, Mark, Michele, Rob, Geneviève, Pierre-Emile, Louise, Eric, Alexandre and fifteen great grandchildren, last surviving sister; Lucie Rioux age 102 of Richibucto, and several nieces and nephews.
Martial was predeceased by his first wife; Bella (Daigle) Daigle, his sisters; Louise Leger (late Tim), Thérèse Richard (late Leo), Marguerite Sawyer (late Fidele) and his brother; Roger (late Alma).
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9, Wednesday at 1:30 until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009 at 3:30 pm. Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)
