Terrance David Ingalls
1946-2009
At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB on May 6, 2009, Mr. Terrance David Ingalls, husband of Mrs. Linda (Harris) Ingalls of Pennfield NB. Born at London England on June 30, 1946, he was a son of the late Irvin and Catherine (Jeffreys) Ingalls. A loving husband and brother, in addition to his loving wife Linda, Terrance is survived by one brother, Jeffrey Ingalls of St. Stephen NB and several cousins.
In his spare time Terrance loved to work with Electronics and as a career he was a TV Repairman. He had a love for his cats and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB from where the service will be held on Monday at 2 pm from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating. Visiting at the funeral home on Sunday from 7-9 pm. In Terrance’s memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Doreen Mary Dougherty
1925-2009
Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on April 22, 2009, Mrs. Doreen Mary (Leblanc) Dougherty, wife of Hayward Dougherty of Canal NB. Born at Moncton NB on December 3, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Sylvia Mae (Bourgouis) Leblanc. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, in addition to her husband Hayward, she is survived by one daughter, Sandra Hatt of Canal, one son, Garry (Barbara) Dougherty of Canal, six grandchildren; Lori Hatt of Saint John NB, Serri Hatt (Kenny Hawkins) of Canal NB, Sasha Hanley of Saint John, NB, Shelli Hanley of Blacks Harbour, NB, Steven Dougherty and Jeffery Dougherty both of St. George, ten great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three brothers; Edmond, Oreal and Ulysse and my one sister, Dorice Cormier. She was the late surviving member of her immediate family.
Doreen was a veteran of the Second World War, serving with the Medical Corps in Fredericton, Petawawa, and various bases throughout Canada. She loved music and played the guitar and often participated in charity fundraisers. Doreen found joy in helping others and will be missed by all who knew her.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB with visiting on Thursday from 7-9 pm and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the St. George’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday at 12:00 noon with Father John Mooney officiating, followed by interment at the St. George’s Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or Spiritual Bouquets would be appreciated by the family.

Marion Boyne Stairs
1918-2009
Following a brief illness, Mrs. Marion Boyne (Hope) Stairs, wife of the late George G. Stairs of Utopia NB and formerly of Little Lepreau NB passed away at her daughter’s residence on April 19, 2009. Born at Little Lepreau on July 12, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Caroline (Boyne) Hope. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by two daughters; Carol (Bill) Buchanan of Utopia NB and Donna (Joseph) Sheehan of Saint John NB, four grandchildren; Randy (Rose) Buchanan of New River NB, Lisa Buchanan of Utopia, Tony (Cynthia) Sheehan and Jeffery (Melinda) Sheehan both of Saint John, seven beautiful great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, George of 50 years, who passed away in 1991, and brothers; Harold, Douglas, Wilfred and Alfred. She was the last surviving member of her immdiate family.
Marion spent her life in Little Lepreau until her illness after which she moved to Utopia with her daughter Carol. When she was able, she enjoyed flowers and working in the garden.
By Marion’s request, there will be no visitation or service. A graveside committal service will be held at the Maces Bay Community Cemetery at a later date. In Marion’s memory, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or the NB Extral Mural Program would be appreciated by the family. Elsie Bernice Campbell
1918-2009
The death of Mrs. (Elsie) Bernice (Clinch) Campbell, wife of the late Stephen Afton Campbell of Breadalbane, NB in her 91st year, occurred at the Fundy Nursing Home at Blacks Harbour on Friday, April 17, 2009. Born at St. George NB on June 12, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Elsie (Goodiell) Clinch. Bernice was a member of St. Marks Anglican Church and attended St. George Baptist Church. A loving mother, grandmother and aunt, she is survived by her children; Ellen Hatt of St. George NB, Jane (Richard) Smith of Breadalbane, NB, Stephanie (Allan) MacEachern of Grand Manan NB, and William (Janet) Campbell of Halifax NS, grandchildren; Stephen (Mary) Hatt of St. George NB, Laurie (Harry) Moses of Utopia, NB, Allan (Crystal) MacEachern of St. Stephen NB and Sheryl MacEachern of Canoose NB, seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews including David and Rossylyn Allen as well as several cousins and sister in law Rhoda Palmer. She was predeceased by brothers; Edward, Joseph and William Clinch and sisters; Helen Thompson, Verna Reynolds, Ethel Stewart, Nellie Brown, Laura Maxwell, Dorothy Baldwin and Marion Cunningham . She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Bernice was a life long resident of the St. George area and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Bernice and Steve lived for many happy years at Breadalbane on the shores of Passamaquoddy Bay where Bernice loved to watch the birds and the sunsets with her husband, family and friends. For the last few years, Steve and Bernice were residents of the Fundy Nursing Home where they received exceptional care and love from the staff.
A celebration of Bernice’s life will be held at the St. George Baptist Church on Thursday at 2:00pm with Rev. Darren Millett officiating. Visiting at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In Bernice's memory, donations to the Fundy Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George NB E5C 3L6

Daniel Cordell Camick
1958-2009
At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on April 13, 2009, Mr. Daniel Cordell Camick of Leonardville NB. Born at St. Stephen NB on April 21, 1958, he was a son of the late Howard and Kathryn (Rogerson) Camick. A loving brother, uncle and nephew, he is survived by his brother, Carl (Anne) Camick of Leonardville NB, one sister, Glenda (Garnett) Green of Fairhaven NB, one aunt, Hazel Justason of Richardson NB, one niece, Katrina (Timmy) Martin of Richardson NB, one nephew, Brendan (Colleen) Green of Leonardville NB, great niece, Ashley Green and great nephews; Jared Green and Hayden Martin as well as several cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Kathryn Camick.
Daniel had a caring heart and enjoyed life. He loved going for drives and talking to people he met on the way.
Resting at the Leonardville Church of Christ, Deer Island NB, from where the service will be held on Thursday at 2 pm with Rev. Joel Bridges officiating. The interment following the service at the Fairhaven Community Cemetery at Calder’s Head. Visiting at the church on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In Daniel’s memory donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Ross Edward Maxwell
1921-2009
At his residence, at Canal NB on March 31st, 2009, Mr. Ross Edward Maxwell, husband of Mrs. Blanche (Spear) Maxwell. Born at St. George NB on September 1, 1921, he was a son of the late Donald and Ethel (Thorne) Maxwell. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, in addition to his wife Blanche he is survived by one daughter, Dawn (David) Daigle of Canal, two granddaughters; Gale Stanton (Walter McDowell) of Blacks Harbour NB and Naomi (Sylvain) Cote of Lawrence Station NB, two grandsons; Joe Daigle of St. Andrews NB and Cameron Daigle of Blacks Harbour, two great grandchildren; Kaitilin Stanton of Blacks Harbour and Gabrielle Cote of Lawrence Station, one sister, Madeline Maxwell of Moncton NB, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one brother, Horace Maxwell and one by one sister, Yvonne Fenney.
Ross was in the construction industry for most of his working life. He and his brother, Horace, owned and operated Maxwell’s Construction for many years after which he became a truck driver for Connor’s Bros and Fundy Construction.. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed reading in his quiet time. He was totally a family man, dedicated to spending time with his family and was a man who lived by his faith.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3553) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB from where the service will be held from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Friday at 3 pm with Lynda & Diane Anderson officiating. The interment will be held at the St. George Rural Cemetery in the spring. Visiting at the funeral home one Wednesday from 7-9 pm and on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Francis Arthur O'Neill
1937-2009
At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on March 30th, 2009, Mr. Francis Arthur O’Neill, husband of Mrs. Theresa (Joseph) O’Neill of Pennfield NB. Born at Blacks Harbour NB on January 11, 1937, he was the son of the late Arthur and Kathryn Flora (Pendleton) O’Neill. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, in addition to his wife Theresa, he is survived by two sons; John (Michelle) O’Neill and Jack (Monica) O’Neill both of Pennfield, one daughter, Kathy O’Neill (Billy Anderson) of Blacks Harbour, six grandchildren; Brittany O’Neill, Jeremy O’Neill, Theresa Anderson, Emily, Haley and Devon O’Neill, five sisters; Janet (Frank) Cronin of Fredericton NB, Glenna (Robert) Leavitt and Anita Hennessey both of Blacks Harbour, Sharon (Joseph) Likely of Calgary AB and Sheila (Myer) Yanofsky of Utopia NB, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one brother, James.
Francis was a fisherman by trade and this was his life for more then 40 years. He operated Sardine Carriers for Connor’s Bros. and later Seiners, as he captained both the Eastern Phoenix and the Canada 100. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed bass fishing and hunting and spending time at the cottage at Lake Utopia. He served in the American Army for two years and was a member of the NB Bass Fisherman’s Association and the St. George Masonic Lodge #12 F&AM. He was a friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Resting at the Seaview Full Gospel Church, Back Bay NB, from where the service will be held on Thursday at 2 pm with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating. The interment will be held at the Stella Maris Roman Catholic Cemetery, Blacks Harbour NB in the spring. Visiting at the church on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, The Canadian Diabetes. Association, or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. There will be a Masonic Tribute Service held at the church on Wednesday at 6:45 pm. Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB
