Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his sons Absalom(Olive) of Trinity, Stanley(Trixie) of Trinity, Gerald (Selina) of Trinity, Boyd (Eleanor) of Gander, Edward (Shirley) of St. John’s; daughters Emily Parsons (Caleb) of Centreville, Marina Beanlands(Kenneth) of St. John’s, Pauline Brown of Trinity, Yvonne Rideout(Fred) of Trinity; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at St. Alban’s Anglican Church , Trinity from where the funeral will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Rev. S. O’Connor officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Trinity. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Trinity.

Beloved mother of Pauline(Victor) Murrin, St. John’s and daughters Brenda(Gerald) Squires, Wanda(Laurence) Davis, Judith, Janice and Gail; of Madeline(Austin) King, Hickman’s Harbour and daughters Pamela(George) Baker and Crystal(Robert) Smith; of Earl(Rosalind), Windsor Junction NS and children Geraldine(Randall) Green, Tom(Manon) and Terry(Heather); of Aaron(Judith), Scarborough ON and children Yvonne and Christopher; and of Calvin, Burnaby BC and children Nicole, Jason(and their mother Judy) and Travis. Loving great grandmother of Desiree, Steven and Alexander Squires; Norah Lillian and Benjamin Davis; Adam Murrin; Craig Baker(Holly), Carla(Leroy) Reid; Randi Green; Tommy, Troy and Tyler Winsor; Matthew Burn, Holly and Colten Winsor; and Gabrielle Mitchell. Great great grandmother to Alicia and Kaylee Reid. Sister-in-law to Elizabeth Piccott, Violet Winsor, and Frances Winsor. Aunt Lil will be missed by her nieces and nephews of the Andrews, Brown, Piccott and Winsor families, her Pickett and Gaulton cousins and many dear friends. Lillian was born in Brookfield, Bonavista Bay on July 10, 1909. The last surviving child of Geraldine(Gaulton) and Aaron Piccott(Pickett) of Brookfield/Fair Island. She was predeceased by husband Sidney in 1974, brothers John and Raymond, sisters Mabel Winsor and Emily Brown, and 5 other siblings in early childhood, as well as great granddaughter Jessica Winsor. Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove. Funeral to take place at Jubilee United Church, Wesleyville on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Wesleyville.
