Passed peacefully away on Monday, August 21, 2007 at her family residence, Camille Newman of Botwood. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Anglican Church Women. Predeceased by her parents: Edgar and Alma Newman. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her Uncle Oskar, cousins: Sonja, Carl and families of St. John's, NL; Aunt Patricia Bothwell and family of Smith Falls, ON. Also leaving to mourn her very special friends: Don and Ruth Brett, Amy and Cal Ralph, Allison Hunt and Bernice Miller and a large circle of friends. Visitation took place from Botwood Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. David Coffin officiating. Interment was at St. James Anglican Church Cemetery. Donations in her memory was made to the St. James Anglican Church Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Botwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers were: Calvin Ralph, Greg Foss, Darryl Rice, Everett Elliott, Don Brett and Olaf Hulsmann.

Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Center, Grand Falls- Windsor, Peter Gunn at the age of 75 years. Predeceased by his parents: John and Mary Gunn, a daughter in infancy Brenda, brothers: Ed, Dick and Tom; sisters: Mary, Ann and Bridgett. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Mary; sons: Tony (Trudy), Mike (Carolyn), Albert (Charlene), Peter Jr. (Katheryn) and Johnny (Alice); daughters: Peggy (Barry) Taylor, Cathy (Levi) Blake and Sheila (Johnny) Dover; step daughter Florence (Willie) Hart. Also leaving to mourn 24 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sisters Shirley (Levi) Stride; brothers: John (Diane), Larr (Wavey), Joe (Bernice) and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place from Botwood Funeral Home on Friday, September 21, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. from St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church with Father Coady officiating. Interment at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Botwood Funeral Home.

Predeceased by his wife Phyllis, sons: Tyrone and Gary; daughters: Debbie and Judy; parents: Walter and Rachel Newhook; brothers: William, Alonzo and Charles; twin sister Shirley; sisters: Ruth and Ethel. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Carolyn, Sterling (Louise), Gerald (Ginilda), John (Ruth), Diana (Sean), Ken (Michele), Peggy (Daryl) and Stephen (Kim); daughter-in-law Judy, sister Alma (Alex) Rowe; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place from Botwood Funeral Home on Saturday, September 22, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Jubilee Pentecostal Temple with Pastor Fraser Roberts officiating. Interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Botwood. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Botwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers are sons: Gerald, Sterling, John, Ken, Stephen and son-in-law Daryl. Honorary pallbearers are: daughter-in-law Judy and son-in-law Sean.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories his 4 daughters: Mable (Eli) Hibbs, Emily (Lester) Foss, Eileen (Louis) Brenton and Matilda (Lawrence) Ball; sons: Austin (Theresa) and Enos (Sadie). Also leaving to mourn 50 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren; sister Bertha Blake, son-in-law Wilson Foss and daughter-in-law Edna Wall and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place from Botwood Funeral Home on Sunday, September 23, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, September 24, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from The Salvation Army Citadel, Peterview with Major William Kean officiating. Interment at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Peterview. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Botwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers are: Enos Pope (son), Derrick Hibbs (grandson), Gilbert Blake (grandson), Jeffery Foss (grandson), Peter Brenton (grandson) and Dennis Wall (grandson).

Predeceased by her parents John and Clara Tucker. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Margaret (Peggy) of St. John's; sons: John and Ross both of Point Leamington and brother Otto (Ruby) of St. John's and a number of other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place from Botwood Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. from where the funeral will take place at 4:00 p.m. with Captain Mouland officiating. Visitation will also take place from Green's Funeral Home, Winterton, NL on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. Interment will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. from The Salvation Army Cemetery, Winterton, NL. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the SPCA. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Botwood Funeral Home.
