Passed peacefully away on Friday, December 7, 2007 at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Center, Dulice Noseworthy of Leading Tickles. She was 89 years of age. Predeceased by her husband James and her parents: Leander and Jane Rowsell. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her son John (Janette), daughters: Pamela (Ronald) Rowsell, Rita Rowsell all of Leading Tickles and Viola (Robert) Warren of Hampton. Also leaving to mourn 15 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren, special friend Espie Noseworthy and a large circle of other friends and relatives. Visitation will take place from St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Leading Tickles on Saturday, December 8, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Coffin officiating. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Botwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers are: Dean Earle, Junior Loveman, Mike Cooke, James Cooke, Roger Rowsell and Percy Noseworthy.

Predeceased by his parents: George and Hilda Ivany; grandson Paul, brother Harry (Dick), sisters: Bernice and Edith. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Margaret, his children: Sandra (William) Labrador City, Christopher (Della) of Botwood, Lynn (Marlene) of Halifax, Connie (Wayne) of Pasadena and Michelle (Paul) of Paradise Also leaving to mourn grandchildren: Jamie, Robert, Crystal, Candace, Cameron, Tristen and Kelsey; great-grandchild Leah; brother Charles (Gaye); sister Betty (Angelo) and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place from Botwood Funeral Home on Sunday, December 9, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, December 10, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from The Salvation Army Citadel, Botwood with Major Dinzel Baggs officiating. Interment at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Botwood. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to The Salvation Army Building Fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Botwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers are:William Patterson, William Cross, Garry Ivany, Paul Dwyer, Junior Budgell and Guy Rowsell.

Passed peacefully away on December 27, 2007 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Stella Jerrett of Peterviw. She was 91 years of age. She was a member of the Salvation Army Peterview Corps and held many positions in the Church, she was also a faithful member of the LOBA, Royal True Blue Rebecca’s. Predeceased by her husband Arthur, sisters, Amanda, Effie and Julia and brother Stanley. Left to mourn are her daughters, Betty (Harold), Rosalind (Clayton) and son Morris (Patti) and the “Samson” family. Also left to mourn are 8 Grandchildren, Brian (Elaine), Nancy (Terry), David (Christina), Stephanie (Alan), Terri-Lyn (Jeff), Tina (Josh), Tammy and David. Also 6 Great-Grandchildren, Matthew, Brandon, Jessica, Julia, Abigail and Bryson. Funeral on Sunday from The Salvation Army Citadel, Peterview at 2:30 PM with Major William Kean officiating. Interment at The Salvation Army Cemetery Peterview. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Botwood Funeral Home where visitation will take place on Friday December 28, 2007 and Saturday December 29, 2007 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Donations may be made in her memory to The Salvation Army Memorial Fund, Peterview or flowers will be gratefully accepted.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters: Blanch, Pansy, Merida, Doris, Goldie, Mildred, Gloria and Serena; sons: Levi, Alonzo, Junior, Woodrow, Ricky and Marcel; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn brother George, sisters: Blanche, Edith, Lil and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place from Botwood Funeral Home on Saturday, January 5, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. from The Salvation Army Citadel, Peterview with Major William Kean officiating.
