MONDOR: Victoria June of Brandon, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the age of 78 years. Vicki found great joy in her friends and volunteer work at the A.N.A.F. Club where she and Albert were founding members of the Crocus Seniors. Shuffleboard was her game and she had many hours of enjoyment playing and spending time with her friends; as well as placing 25 cent bets on curling games with her "favourite" son-in-law, Bob, who she adored. We are so thankful for all the happy and loving memories of my mom and my friend, "favourite" mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Mom had a kind and loving heart, caring for her husband, Albert, and her brothers, Steve and Nick Hallas, in their final years. Mom had a great love for dogs and provided a home filled with kindness and attention for the many puppies she raised over the years. Rest now, precious. Lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Bunny (Valerie) and Bob Neilson, grandsons, Chris (Lisa) Neilson and Greg (Charlotte) Neilson, great-grandson, Rory Neilson. Special friends: Hughie, Millie and many more. Extended family, Margret and Ernie Neilson, Marie and Larry Neilson, the Mondor families. Bunny and Bob extend their heartfelt thanks to all the staff of Palliative Care, B.R.H.C., whose care and concern for Mom was "over the top." At Vicki’s request, she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Albert, by her family. Friends who wish, may make a donation in Vicki’s memory, to Brandon Riverbank Inc. #1-545 Conservation Drive, Brandon, MB, R7A 7L8.
