HOGUE - Daryl Ivan Hogue; born April 29, 1965 was called home by his Lord, Monday, July 5, 2004 at the young age of 39. He was predeceased by his grandparents Ivan and Tillie Hastings, Adolphe Hogue and aunt Carol Thompson. Daryl will be lovingly remembered by his surviving family; parents Gibson and Donna; brothers Shawn (Caroline) and Mark (April); nephews Michael and Matthew; grandmother Rose Hogue, all of Regina, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. The majority of Daryl's years after graduation were spent working in BC in construction and commercial fishing until an injury placed him in a wheelchair. Daryl had recently returned to Saskatchewan to be close to family and was upgrading his education at the time of his passing. Daryl was a very sociable, outgoing and friendly person who loved the company of others. He will be greatly missed by his family, relatives and friends. A private family service is being held to honour Daryl's memory. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Paraplegic Association, 209 4401 Albert St., Regina, SK., S4S 6B6. HONEYSETT - Rita Rose (nee Langlois), age 53, dearly beloved wife and mother. On July 6, 2004 Rita left this life while in the arms of her husband and with her family by her side, to begin a new life. Predeceased by her father Maurice; one brother Wilfred and one sister Yvonne. Rita is survived by her husband of 33 years, Lorne; two daughters Michelle (Brad) Kolstad of Hamilton, ON, Nancy (Chris) Hoffman of Regina; son Chad (Maria) of Regina; three grandchildren which she truly loved to spoil, grandsons Damon and Eric of Regina and granddaughter Camryn of Hamilton; her mother Germaine of Indian Head, SK; eight sisters: Lillian (Ron) Moat of Sangido, AB, Denise (Richard) Tatlow of Saskatoon, SK, Lea (Lyle) Smulan of Pasqua Lake, Lorraine (John) Kloiler of Calgary, Eva Dixon of Peace River, Lucy (Tim) Nelson of Regina, Alma (Warren) Mollison of Indian Head, Annette (Vince) Praski of Melfort; three brothers Edwin (Rhonda) of Indian Head, Robert of Regina and John (Laura) of Indian Head; Lorne's mother Betty of Regina and his sister Mavis and brother Lyle of Montmartre; also numerous nieces and nephews. Rita had a real zest for life as witnessed by her many friends and those she went motorcycling with as she was always ready to go with them on different adventures. Rita's family would personally like to thank her sister-in-law and good friend Donna Langlois, and good friend Fran Schatz for their never ending love and help with Rita's fight against cancer. As well as her many friends and relatives that were there to help. We, the family, would like to thank the wonderful people of 4A, 3B, 3A, Palliative Care Unit, the Allan Blair Cancer Centre and the staff of the Balfour Wing at William Booth Special Care Home for their care and compassion. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Cremation. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park following the service. She was predeceased by her father Albert Lorencz; brother Leonard Lorencz; brothers-in-law Delbert Polsom, George Polsom, Gordon Polsom, Clarence Keil, John Jahn, Wilfred Leduc, John Whitmore, Herman Barkman and George Kehler; sisters-in-law Opal Kehler and Jean Keil. She is survived by her husband Victor William (Bill); sons Victor William, Jr. (Bonnie) and James Allen (Christina); grandchildren Shawna (James) Geisinger, Ashley, Sarah, Andrew, Cristen, Jaimie, Austin and Carly Polsom; mother Agatha Lorencz (Sam Walters); sisters Tillie (Arnie) Radons, Eleanor Lorencz (Bob), Rosemarie (Leonard) Chibi, Shirley (Ben) Popadynec, Delores Butz (Dennis), Linda (Ray) Brandt and Dorothy (Allan) Horvath; brothers George (Louise) Lorencz, Jim (Tracy) Lorencz, John (Bev) Lorencz, Ricky (Debra) Lorencz and Melvin Lorencz; sisters-in-law Doreen (John) Polowyk, Edith Jahn, Josephine (Bob) MacLean, Arnice Polsom and Roseanne Polsom; brothers-in-law Ernest (Betty) Polsom, Stan (Donna) Polsom, Wally (Sharon) Polsom and Bob (Carol) Polsom; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends Carson and Ida Janes, Keith and Dorothy Hall, Jeanette Churchill, Alva Coley, Daisy West, Jo Simmons, Ruby Salter and Anne Kayter. A lifetime committed to love and concern for others ended when Sylvia went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 8, 2004 at 12:08 A.M. after a battle with a particularly aggressive form of breast cancer. Sylvia was a true Christian who loved and was loved by many people. She particularly loved her grandchildren who often spent time with her at her home, or by daily telephone conversations. She had friends from the higher echelons of the community, as well as those of lesser circumstance. Sylvia began her working life at a young age as a full time babysitter. She became a waitress, then through the vision of Carson and Ida Janes, she was coached by them into becoming a secretary, office manager and bookkeeper for the Salvation Army Public Relations Department. Sylvia was the heartbeat and hub of her family. She will be sadly missed by her husband Bill, her sons Victor and James and their families. Sylvia was a shining example of Christ's love and compassion. She will be a bright star and welcome addition to the host of Heaven. Everybody who knew her, loved her. The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at 1:30 P.M. in the Salvation Army Citadel, 2012 McIntyre St., Regina, SK, with Col. Robert Chapman, officiating. Interment will follow at Regina Memorial Gardens. MCNALLY - John Michael George passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday, August 6, 2004 at the age of 61 years. John was born in Crowborough, Sussex, England on June 11, 1943. He came to Canada as a young boy with his family where they settled in the Debdin, SK area, later the family moved to Regina. John was predeceased by an infant son, John Edward Raymond and his parents; Edward and Lil McNally. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 34 years, Dena, son Michael, daughter Michelle, sisters Dora (Eugene) Moreside, Rosalie (Ian) Collins, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. MORAN - Elizabeth (Betty) Moran, passed away August 6, 2004 at the age of 93 years. Betty was born February 7, 1911 in Gooding, SK where she attended school. The Haubrich family moved to Hodgeville and Betty stayed home to help her mother to raise nine children. At the age of 19 she moved to Moose Jaw to work at the YWCA for 9 years. She married Edmund Joseph Moran on November 30, 1939 at St. Joseph's Church. She also volunteered her time at school and community organizations: the Parent Teacher Committees for St. Agnes, St. Louis College, and Sion Academy schools, Family Day convener and treasurer for St. Anthony's Home, and deputy Returning Officer for the Liberal Association. She was active in her church communities, joining the Young Matron's Club at St. Joseph's Parish, then the CWL for St. Joseph's parish and the Church of Our Lady parish on South Hill. She convened Penny Parades, helped at bazaars, teas and convened bridge and whist games. Betty obtained her 50 year CWL pin in 1989. Betty was an avid bridge, canasta and whist card player in various card groups throughout the city. Predeceased by her father Jacob Haubrich in 1962, her mother Appolonia in 1963, her loving husband of 52 years, Ed in 1991, brothers John and Jake and sisters Catherine, Anne, Julie and Theresa. Betty (Mom) will be sadly missed by her four children: Jerry (Jan) Moran, St. Albert, AB; Sharon Lawson, Calgary, AB; Harvey (Carol) Moran Moose Jaw and Linda (Alex) Prowse Calgary; fifteen grandchildren: Philip, Tim (Chantel) and Mark Moran; Sean, Colin (Carrie), Tasha, Whitney, Matthew and Michael Lawson; LeeAnn (John) Millar, Christie (Scott) Forgrave, DJ (Andi) Moran; Bree Prowse, Michael (Crystal) Prowse, Jenny (Todd) White and ten great-grandchildren. Betty will be sadly missed by her immediate family: Frank (Betty) Haubrich Hodgeville and Rudolph (Elsie) Haubrich Shaunavon, SK. and her many friends in Moose Jaw. An Evening Prayer Service will be held W.J. Jones & Son Chapel on Monday August 9, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at the Church of Our Lady, 566 Vaughan Street, on Tuesday August 10, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Father David Cottingham CSSR will be the Celebrant.
