ORTT - Suddenly on Saturday, December 17, 2005 Kathleen Ortt beloved wife of Ed Ortt, Grenfell, Sask., died at the age of 74 years. The funeral service will be held in the Trinity Presbyterian Church, Grenfell, Sask., on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Officiant Pastor Jonathan Kwon. Interment in the Grenfell Cemetery. Kathleen was predeceased by one daughter Joan Ortt in infancy, her parents, Valentine and Katherine Werth and one brother John Werth. Besides her loving husband Ed of 47 years, Kathleen is survived by two daughters: Karen (Stanley) Head and Val Hamilton (Darrell Schaeffer), both of Fort Qu'Appelle, Sask.; four grandchildren: Brad and Michael Head, Chris and Brittany Mish. Kathleen is also survived by her nieces and nephews. If friends so desire, contributions to a charity of their choice may be tokens of remembrance.

REIGER, HUNTER JOSHUA

REIGER - On Friday, December 16, 2005, after a life long struggle with his illness, Hunter Joshua Reiger, Beloved son of Shauna and Jacob Reiger, and beloved brother of Justin, Indian Head, Sask., died at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 22 months. The funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Indian Head, Sask., on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Jerry Borkowsky officiating. Interment in the Indian Head Cemetery. Besides his parents and brother, Hunter is survived by his maternal grandparents, Joe and Joanne Kirwan, Melville, Sask.; his paternal grandparents, Jack Reiger, Indian Head, Sask., and Linda (Ken) Serson, Indian Head, Sask., his maternal grat grandmother, Marie Olfert, Swift Current, Sask., as well as the rest of his family. If friends so desire, contributions to The Canadian Society of MPS, Hurlers Syndrome, Box 30034, RPO Parkgate, North Vancouver, B.C., V7H 2Y8 or to the Kinsmen Telemiracle 2217 Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, Sask., S7L 6A8.

SCHMIDT, JOHN EDWARD

SCHMIDT - John Edward was born on September 4, 1930, in Regina and passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2005 in Regina, SK. John is survived by his loving wife Thelma; son Larry (Brenda) Schmidt and their family: Travis and Melissa; daughter Gloria (Bruce) Hildebrand and their children Chris, Leanne and Jim, and daughter Shirley-Ann Schmidt; sister Mary-Anne (Ed) Clark and their family: Monica Schatz, Mark (Candace) Schatz and Marie (Carl and Mairen) Lawson; Thelma's sister Bernice Rouse and brother Stanley (Edna) Hubick; plus numerous nieces and nephews. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK, on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery. SENTES, ANDREW

SENTES - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, and great grandfather Andrew James Sentes on December 16, 2005. He passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years. He was born April 11, 1917, and has been predeceased by his parents and 8 siblings. He is survived by his brother Jim, his loving wife Gezella of 64 years. Andrew is also survived by his 8 children: Ida (Rudy) Klemenz, William (Lucille)Sentes, Joseph (Brenda) Sentes, Robert (Barbara) Sentes, Ralph (Sheree) Sentes, Arnold Sentes, Greg (Shelley) Sentes, and Della Grohs (Mitch Huber). Andrew also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. PRAYERS will be held at Regina Funeral Home (Memorial Gardens), Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK, on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 21, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Ken Koep officiating. WIIG, DENNIS LEROY

WIIG, DENNIS LEROY - family man, pastor, carpenter, friend died suddenly from heart problems at home on Thurs. Dec. 15, a month before his 60th birthday. Left to mourn are his wife of 33 years, Ursula, children Frances, Niki, Natasha & Lialo Salaash, and Steven, and grandchildren, Acacia, Mateyo and Matakai; and in Alberta, his mother Fern, sisters Gaynor (Marvin) Hoglund & Allison (Vince) Pettinger, sister-in-law Margery Wiig, and many nieces and nephews.. He was predeceased by his father Walt, sister Sharon and twin brother Brian. In 1983 he was ordained as a pastor in the Lutheran Church (ELCIC) and served in the parishes of Kingman-Roundhill (AB), ChaplinCentral Butte-Parkbeg, Lumsden, and as a reserve Air Force Chaplain. At the time of his death Dennis had the best of both worlds: part-time minister at NaicamSpalding and a self-employed carpenter in Saskatoon. He will be warmly remembered for his irreverent sense of humour, love of (bad) puns, & complete individuality. His family will miss his unwavering support for the unusual paths they have chosen in their own lives. He died quickly as he would have wished, but too soon for his family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Tues, Dec. 20 at 1:30 pm, in Augustana Lutheran Church (Broadway & 7th Street, Saskatoon) with Bishop Cindy Halmarson and Rev. Garth Wehrfritz-Hanson officiating. There will be a viewing at the Church beforehand from 11:00 am 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dennis' memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes. Association or "Gifts from the Heart," Global Hunger and Development Appeal (ELCIC, 302-393 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB, R2B 3H6).

MOSER - MADELEINE, of Saskatoon, Sask., formerly of Weyburn, Sask. After a courageous battle against breast cancer, surrounded by her loving family, our cherished Madeleine passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2006, at age 56. Predeceased by her husband Tony (September 23, 1999), and her father Ralph Pryce (May 14, 2006), Madeleine is survived by two sons Aaron & Moira Katherine, Angela, Dominic and Jason & Tracy; her mother Mary Pryce; siblings and their families: Earl (Karen), Norman (Marlene), George (Loretta), Nancy Giraudier, Michael (Anette); Lester (Juanita); mother-in-law Elsie and brother-in-law Steve. FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Weyburn, Sask., on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 2:30 pm. POIER - Elmer went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at the age of 84 years. Elmer passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. BAKKE, RUTH

BAKKE, RUTH - passed away peacefully on May 17, 2006 at the age of 95 years. Born on the family farm in Yellow Grass, SK on November 9, 1910, Ruth attended high school in Yellow Grass and business school in Weyburn. A career woman, she worked for the Department of Agriculture in Regina for 13 years, for the U.S. Army Engineering Corp in Edmonton that constructed the Alaska Highway during World War II and for the Canadian National Railway in Regina until she retired in 1975. Ruth was active in the community as one of the original volunteers with the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Red Cross and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. She loved arts and crafts, played bridge, golfed, bowled and travelled. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Nellie Bakke; her brothers, Morris, Raymond and Merton and her sisters, Inez Lynnes, Hazel Campbell and Ruby Dodd. Ruth is lovingly remembered and sorely missed by her numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews and other relatives. The family is very appreciative of the sympathy expressed by Ruth's many friends and for the care that she received from Precious Memories Care Home, staff of Unit 6F at the Regina General Hospital and her doctors, especially Dr. I. Sheikh. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. BACHIU - Elie (Satch) passed away June 15 after a courageous battle with cancer. Elie was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, three sisters, he leaves to mourn his loving companion Lorraine, two daughters Debra and Pam, son Calvin, six grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren; sisters Liz, Anne, Sylvia and Vicky, two brothers George and Ted (Mary). He also leaves step-children, Karen, Kathy, Carol and Kelly, several nieces, nephews and his many friends. You will be sadly missed and always in our thoughts and never forgotten. Cremation with a Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. in the Regina Cemetery, 4th and Broad St., Regina, Sask. CAMERON, DALE

CAMERON, R. DALE (1938-2006) - Late of Regina, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at the age of 67 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Jean and Roddie; uncle, Chisholm; brother in law, Tommy; father in law, Gervase. Dearly beloved husband of Tish; father of Angus (Marilyn), Scott (Hollie), Daryl (Terry) and Stuart (Dierdre); grandfather of Michael, Melissa, Rorey, Taylor and baby Evan. Also missed by his in laws, Dorothy (mother in law), Ron (Mary Jane), Donna (Doug), Kathy and numerous nieces and nephews. His greatest pleasure in life was his family. Dale was born in Bethune, SK on October 16, 1938. He grew up on the farm in the Findlater district and attended Edwards School and Balfour Collegiate in Regina, SK. Dale worked for the Provincial Government for twenty nine and a half years at the Geological Lab. Upon retiring he and Tish farmed the Cameron homestead until 1999. As of late, Dale was a helper in Stu's Trucking Company which he enjoyed immensely. He enjoyed so much seeing the country while bouncing around in "Pug, Allice and Bluebell" (Stu's 3 delivery trucks). Another past time was people watching! Special thanks to the 911 Dispatcher, the EMT's and the Firemen crews who responded to Mom and Dad's home on Halifax Street North. Your professional and tireless effort is greatly appreciated. Also to the staff and social workers at the Regina General Hospital. Thank You so much! Cremation. A family graveside service will be held at Findlater Cemetery, Findlater, SK on Tuesday, June 20, 2006. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Findlater Hall at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 with lunch and refreshments following.
