Tony was born and raised in Jedburgh, Sask., graduated from the U of S in Saskatoon and spent his 30 year teaching and civil service career in various locations around Saskatchewan. Most of his working years were spent in La Ronge where his three youngest children were raised and where his two older children have chosen to reside. The were happy years some of the best times being his years as councilor and executive member of the STF and with the good times spent with the many good friends they made there. But Tony was always a prairie boy and his reward came in 2000 when he and Linda moved to their retirement cottage at Mistussine no Diefenbaker Lake. There he had all the time in the world to read, putter at small jobs and spot deer and pheasants in the park and the back yard and enjoy his grandkids and other family and friends. He was a life long supporter of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The family wishes to thank the staff of 3D and 3B at Pasqua Hospital in Regina and specifically his oncologist, Doctor Pacella and Barb Hale in Palliative Care for the support received during his time there.
