RUNOLFSON - On December2, 2004 Mabel Catherine Runolfson (nee Goodin) of Regina, Sk. passed away after a lengthy illness, at the age of 73 years. Predeceased by her dear husband Harold (of Semans, Sk.) on November 26, 1986. Mabel will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Linda Jerricke and grandson Donal, her brother Ed (Marg), and sisters Rita, Hilda, Bonnie (Walter),and Marlene (Roy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews on both sides of her and Harold's family, whom she thought of often. Mabel was cremated and at her request there will be no services held, she simply hopes that her family and friends will fondly remember the many good times they shared. Very special thanks go to her doctors and the compassionate staff at the Palliative Care Unit of the Pasqua Hospital who made Mabel's last days as easy as they could be. She lived with grace and passed with dignity. Arrangements in care of Speers Funeral Chapel and Crematorium Services.

SCHNEIDER - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom and grandma, Elsie Schneider, nee Triffo of Regina on December 1, 2004. Elsie was predeceased by her parents John and Magdalena Triffo, by her first husband Jack Butz and second husband Ken Schneider, stepson Kelly, sisters, Caroline, Erna, Kay, Hilda, Mary, brothers, Rudy and Henry. Elsie is survived by her son, Glenn (Brenda), stepson Louis (Brenda), her son Robert (Mae), daughter Brenda (Barry), stepdaughter Kandas and grandchildren, Tricia (Sheldon), Christopher, Amanda, Dustin, Rick, Kelly, Devon and Tanya, great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Noah, sisters Frieda and Phyllis and brother Richard. Elsie was born May 6, 1921 in Southey and raised in Edenwold. She made many friends across the province. Elsie's life was a gift to her family and friends. We will never see a more devoted wife or mother. We will remember her and miss her always. Special thanks to the staff at Pioneer Village for all the special care and compassion. The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 6, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue Regina, Sask., with Pastor Bob Leeson, officiating. The Interment will follow in the Ernfold Cemetery, Ernfold, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society 301 2550 12th Avenue Regina, Sask., S4P 3X1. POWELL - On Monday, August 16, 2004, Charles George Powell, late of the Cupar and District Nursing Home, Cupar, SK., passed away at the age of 84 years. Charlie was born on the family farm on July 24, 1920. He attended Marhall School and Touchwood School. Charlie enjoyed the farm life and him and his sister Doris farmed together for many years on the farm north of Cupar until they bought a home in Cupar and rented out the farm. Charlie moved to Shalom in June of 2002. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 10:00 AM in the Cupar and District Nursing Home, Cupar, SK., with Danna Armstrong, officiating. Interment to follow in the Cupar Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cupar & District Nursing Home 213 Mills St. Cupar, SK SOG OYO. SIRETT - KYRA ALEXIS, "Our Princess ", passed away with family at her side on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at the age of 11 months. Kyra's memory will be cherished forever by her loving family, "Mummy " Sandy and "Daddy" Mike; grandparents, Connie and Larry Boyle, April and Ken Sirett; aunt Angela (Bill); uncles Rick (Rebecca), Kevin (Cortney) and Andrew; cousins Christine, Michael, Dylan, Kayla and Austin as well as great-grandparents and many other family and friends. ALLEN - Joanne Allen was born February 3, 1955 in Wolseley, Saskatchewan, the second child of Clarice and Bill Allen. She was raised on a farm near Lemberg, Saskatchewan. Joanne acquired various nicknames throughout the years Jo, Joey and EO depending on the circumstance. Along the almost fifty years she was granted, Joanne was a warm and caring mother, a wife, a sister, a friend, a coworker and the salt of the earth. Joanne graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1978. Joanne married Sean Angley on October 18, 1986. Over the years their family grew to include two daughters, Bronwyn and Arden. Joanne enjoyed the company of her girls and they spent many happy hours doing things together. She was a loving and proud mother who encouraged and supported the girl's many talents and interests. Joanne spent many happy vacation days with her family and friends alike and we will always have many happy memories with Jo at the "lake". Joanne found joy in everyday things in life. She was a keen observer of the human condition. Joanne's sense of humour, gentle manner and fair -mindedness endeared her to those who met her. She was a generous and giving woman who made you feel at ease in her presence. Joanne enjoyed a challenging and varied career in nursing. She worked at the Canora Hospital, VON Regina, Palliative Care Regina and most recently, Veterans Affairs Canada. She was held in high esteem by her co-workers and made many friends throughout her career. Joanne is survived by her husband, Sean Angley, her daughters Bronwyn and Arden, her sisters Cheryl Mass (Larry) children Stacey (Corey), Tim and Tom, and Barb Shea (Mick) daughter Amanda, her father-in-law Bill Angley and sister-in-law Siobhan Angley. Prayers will take place Wednesday, 7:30p.m. at Holy Rosary Cathedral. A celebration of Joanne's life will be held at Holy Rosary Cathedral, Garnet & 13th Ave., Regina at 4p.m. on Thursday, September 16th. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Speers Funeral Chapel. Friends attending the service are encouraged to bring garden flowers (in vases) as a tribute for Joanne. Interment will be held at a later date in the beautiful Ellisboro cemetery overlooking the Qu'Appelle Valley. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made in Joanne's name to the Plant for Health Program (plant a tree in memory of Joanne) c/o Hospitals of Regina Foundation, 225 1874 Scarth St., Regina, SK, S4P 4B3 or to the Red Cross-Arts and Crafts Veterans Program, 100-2050 Cornwall St., Regina, SK, S4P 2K5. Joanne's premature death has shocked and saddened all those who have had the fortune to know and love her. Her family would like to thank the staff of the Regina Health District for their efforts and the many family and friends for their caring and help at this most difficult time. We are grateful for the years she walked the earth among us.
