SANO - Mrs. Fusako Florence Sano, born October 17, 1917, late of Regina, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, March 14, 2004 after a brief illness. Predeceased by her loving husband of 41 years, Kanematsu Ken Sano in 1986; infant son Dennis Naomi Sano; son Gary Kiyo Sano; mother Shigeno Sujishi; father Otozo Tsujimoto; brother Masao Tsujimoto; sister Sue Tsuji. Survived by sons Regan (Debbie) Sano, Robert, Glen, Brent, Brian Sano and special friend Yvonne, all of Regina; daughters: Joyce and Nancy Sano of Regina; sisters Toshiko in Japan; Pat Hori and Jane Tsujimoto of Toronto; brothers: Joe, Eddy and Shiro Tsujimoto of Toronto; as well as many nieces and nephews in Toronto and Japan. Thanks to the doctors and nurses at the M.I.C.U. at the Regina General Hospital for the care you gave to her. Thanks to the staff of the Renal Unit at the Regina General Hospital. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2004 from 7:00 9:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue with Rev. Jim Balfour officiating. Cremation. Flowers gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make donations, in memorial, to the Canadian Diabetes. SPARVIER, DARRELL LLOYD (HONEY) - passed away on Friday, March 12, 2004 at the age of 47 years and has gone to join his parents, Albina Sparvier and Donald Delorme in heaven. Darrell will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his companion and soul mate, Kim Sinclair, his ""pride and joy"", children, John, Mandy (Chris) and Alexa (Corey); grandchildren, Dakota and Aalyiah, and his little dog Kaylob. Brothers and sisters, Duane (Wendy), Doug (Judy), Darcy (Anita), Donnie, Donna, Debbie, Doreen, Donalda, Danita and Dennine (Linus). Father-in-law, Jim Sinclair, Mother-in-law, Agnes Sinclair; brother and sister-in-laws, Ken (Dawn), Brian (Lee), Wendy (Duane), Fern (Rick), Karen (Pat) and Amanda (George). Special nieces Amy, Shantel, Chanel, Cheyenne, and Cassie as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Darrell's whole life was for his family and he was a devoted, caring husband, father, grandfather and uncle. Darrell was a fun loving, kind and friendly man who was always willing to help others. He spent his summers at the Regina Beach Golf Club and greatly enjoyed spending his time with staff and members. For the past 16 years, Darrell was employed at the City of Regina, Waterworks Division. Darrell's passing was unexpected and all too soon. As friend to all, he made lasting impressions on everyone he met and is dearly loved, sadly missed and will never be forgotten. The wake will be held at the Cowessess First Nation, Marival Parish Hall on Tuesday, March 16 starting at 4:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 17 at the Marival Parish Hall with Reverend Art Anderson officiating. Interment in the Sacred Heart of Mary Parish Cemetery.

SYHLONYK (NEE JACKLE) EUGENE LOUISA "JEAN" - On March 15, in the company of family, Jean peacefully passed into God"s hands. She leaves behind her husband of 53 years, Anthony, four children, Shirley Kallichuk (Raymore), Carol Brown (Russ, Saskatoon), Alan (Shirley, Regina), Garth (Lee, Calgary), seven grandchildren, Garrett, Eli, Tyler, Ashton, Ryan, Anthony and Rachel, one sister, Valerie Schouten (Bud, Regina) and numerous extended family members. Jean is predeceased by her parents, Rosalie and Jacob Jackle, sisters, Faye Foster and Eleanora Gaw and brother, Helmet Jackle. After marrying, she and Anthony farmed in the Avonlea area. As the family grew, Jean returned to teaching, and subsequently taught at Milestone, Esterhazy, and Southey. She retired in 1988 and with her husband moved to Regina. In the years to follow she would pursue interests in reading, gardening and crafts. Family was central to Jean's life. Because of her interest in preserving the family history, she wrote two family books. Nothing pleased her more than watching her grandchildren grow. She was a loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East on Friday, March 19, 2004 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. SCHICK - OLGA SCHICK, formerly of Lorlie and Ft. Qu'Appelle, passed away at Sunset Extendicare on March 22, 2004 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry, in 1981; sisters, Christine Hahn, Elsie Rilling, Helen Allen; brother Ernest Pekrul. She is survived by her daughter Margaret (Gordon) Cooper; grandchildren Janice Wyper and Grant (TaniaMarie) Cooper; and great-grandchildren John, Steven, and Andrew Wyper; Scott and Teighla Cooper. Olga is also survived by her sisters Frieda Unger and Ella (Gerry) Otto; as well as brothers, Carl Pekrul, Alex Pekrul, and Herb Pekrul; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. In lieu of flowers donations in Olga's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Saskatchewan Inc., #301 2550 12th Avenue, Regina S4P 3X1 or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 2360 2nd Avenue, Regina S4R 1A6. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Eileen, nee Bogutski, Children Elvis (Louise) of Regina, Randy (Terry) of Saskatoon, Rick (Patti) of Yorkton, Nadine (Norm) North Battleford. Grandchildren, Travis, Alison, Jared, MacKenzie, Logan, Alex, Tegan and Callie. Paul was born April 3, 1931 at Goodeve, SK. Predeceased by his parents Anna & John, brothers Walter and Johnny; brother in law John Chudyk, sisters in law Pauline and Olga. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Nick (Goodeve), Matt (Louise) Edmonton, Mike, Kay Chudyk, Frances (Bob), Pearce and Joe of Moose Jaw, Minnie (Adolph) Braden, Marrion of Regina. Andy (Shirley) Saskatoon, Sister in law Gladys of Regina and numerous nieces & nephews. Paul farmed North of Goodeve and later Eileen and him moved to Jedburgh where he drove the school bus for Yorkton School Unit. They then moved to Yorkton where he worked at Leons. During the last few years they enjoyed their cottage around Good Spirit Lake. Prayers will be held on Sunday April 11th at 7:00pm, St. Gerard's R.C. Church, 125 3rd Ave North, Yorkton. Funeral Mass at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, Monday April 12 at 10:00 am. Rev. Basil Chomos officiating. Arrangements in care of Bailey's Funeral Home. And at the road's end, God willing, We, too, shall meet again.

Eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. And special friend Ernie Myers, Regina, SK as well as many nieces and nephews. A service of remembrance was held on April 1, 2004 at Cold Lake, AB. Interment to follow at a later date at Regina, SK.
