TRUDY NASH

TRUDY MARIE NASH (nee COATES) 1945 - 2004 Peacefully on June 27, 2004, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer, Trudy passed away. She was an inspirational source of strength for everyone around her. She will be forever loved by her husband Brian; daughters, Tina (Neil) and Sheila and son Brian (Brenda). Also left to mourn are her six loving grandsons; Father and Mother, John and Beatrice; father-in-law, mother-in-law Tom and Kay; brother Murray (Gwen); sister Terry and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was born icon in Morden, MB., and grew up in Winnipeg. She and her husband left the city to raise their family in Teulon, MB. For anyone who knew her they will always remember her laugh, for it was strong and infectious that filled the room with love and such joy. She loved life and all the small details others often overlooked. Known for holding on to many things she once said "You have to keep the important things the first time because you don't get a second chance." She was soft spoken, wise and as strong as nails. She has left a legacy forever to all who knew and loved her. Thank you very much to the staff at HSC and the Women's Hospital, for their care and kindness, and the kindness of Maureen her palliative care friend. A family service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
