There they started our family in 1952. Mary worked various jobs over the years, she worked at Lethbridge Municipal Hospital and then started working at Simpson Sears for 25 years where many friendships were made. Through the years she enjoyed her valued friendships and lunch dates with the Sears girls. Mom loved the outdoors, camping was one of her most enjoyable activities. Gardening was also a big passion of moms, there were always plenty of flowers around the house in the summer and when mom and dad moved to their condo mom was the first to volunteer to take care of the flower garden. Mom loved to knit, she would make afghans for all the kids and would spend countless hours donating her time at Blankets For Canada. Mary was immensely proud of all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the heart of the family and her passing leaves a huge void. We were all truly blessed by her presence in our lives and will cherish our memories of her forever.
