This early motivation would continue through his life. He attended Mesa State College for two years and then moved to Denver, where he lived for many years. He was a contract painter by trade.
His son, Joseph Wendell was born in Denver, on June 27, 1986. Glenn was living in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, when his daughter, Heather May was born on June 14, 1991. He moved back and forth, from town to town, for many years. In January, 2002, he moved to Paonia where he worked for Dependable Lumber until he was hurt in January 2003. Glenn was living with his daughter in Paonia at the time of his death.
Glenn loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding and racing motorcycles. He enjoyed anything fast paced and exciting.
Those grateful to have shared in Glenn’s life include his mother, Sylvia Daniels of Paonia; his children Joe and Heather and their mother Marie Hall of Grand Junction; his sister, Rene’ Atchley and her husband Jim of Paonia; nephews: Wes Doolin of Paonia, and Justin Doolin of Hayden.
