*** Ruth Biggins, 95, Eckert, died Jan. 18, 2008, at the Horizons Care Center. Services will take place at 11 a.m Saturday at the Hazardville New Cemetery in Enfield, Conn.

Survivors include two sons, Robert of Las Vegas, and Richard of Asheville, N.C.; one daughter, Lori Sullivan of Cedaredge; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

*** Lucille Harlan, 58, Hotchkiss, died Jan. 21, 2008, at her home. Services will take place at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hotchkiss Taylor Funeral Service Chapel.

Survivors include two sons, Lloyd Boyle of Arizona and Ralph Boyle of Roseville, Calif.; one daughter, Darcie Boyle of Hotchkiss; three sisters, Eileen Lawrence of California, Kathy Collins of Texas and Regina Vanmeter of Crawford; and six grandchildren.

*** Loiree Edger Hull, 83, Delta, died Jan. 6, 2008, at the Life Care Center of Hospice of Denver in Aurora. Services will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Delta First Assembly of God Church.

Mr. Hull was a mechanic for the Holly Sugar Factory in Delta.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Lee; two daughters, Terry Charles of Aurora and Daniell Henrie of Montrose; one son, Denys of Hotchkiss; four sisters, Ethel Fay Stoneman of North Pole, Alaska, Garaldine Dech of Whitewater, Leila Dade of Delta and Gary Beth Alsdorf of Elko, Nev.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

*** Edward Stanley, 79, Grand Junction, died Jan. 22, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital. No services are planned.

*** Billy Jim Wilson, 59, Delta, died Jan. 19, 2008, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Grand Junction. No services will take place.

Survivors include three brothers, Philip of Delta, Johnny of Aztec, N.M., and David of Nashville, Tenn.; and two sisters, Rozella Kroschel and Sue Brown, both of Delta.

*** Wade Lawrence Gore, 74, Fruita, died Jan. 22, 2008, at Family Health West. No services will take place.

Mr. Gore was a pipefitter at Gilsonite Refinery in Fruita.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Gore of Fruita, and Whitney Mason of Denver; one brother, Harry Babcock in Grand Junction; two sisters, Lois Sewell, and Bette O’Connor, both of Fruita, and Helen Keith of Longmont; and three grandchildren.

*** Bruce Valiquet, 68, Fruita, died Jan. 23, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Services will take place at 4 p.m. Monday at Callahan Edfast Mortuary.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; one son, Bruce of Grand Junction; one daughter, Rhonda Allen of Grand Junction; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

*** Keith “Moe” Bond, 60, of Delta, died Jan. 24, 2008, at his home. Services will take place at 2 p.m. Monday at Mesa View Mortuary chapel.

Mr. Bond was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Susan; his mother, Annabel Harrington of Delta; one son, Jerett of Grand Junction; one daughter, Lezley Cordova of Delta; one brother, Warren of Denver; and five grandsons.

*** Elna G. Sefcovic, 89, of Grand Junction, died Jan. 25, 2008, at The Commons. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the mortuary, with burial to follow at Palisade Cemetery.

Survivors include four sons, Fred of Carbondale, Robert of Socorro, N.M., Valent of West Jordan, Utah, and Felix of Rifle; four daughters, Debra Anderson of Buena Vista, Mary Burns of Denver, Wynona Mahaffey of Fruita and Catherine Chase of Grand Junction; 17 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

*** LeRoy E. Altenhofen, 63, Grand Junction, died Jan. 27, 2008, at his home. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Services will take place at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Living Hope Church.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda; three daughters, Shawna Mannel, Sonia Schwietert and Stacey Archuleta; six sisters, Joy Gilbert, Carolyn McGloin, Florence Johnson, Addie Benker, Elsie Keith and Linda Allrich; and five grandchildren.

*** Raymond Joseph Delio, 81, Olathe, died Jan. 26, 2008, at his son’s home in Montrose. Services will take place at a later date.

He was a dentist for 30 years.

Survivors include his wife, Nora; two sons, Ray of Durango and Anthony of Montrose; six daughters, Candi Irish of LeCenter, Wash., Toni Anders of Olathe, Andria Eldrenkamp, and Rayma Hoover, both of Westminster, Darcy Bronson of Merrill, Wis., and Gigi Pridy of Montrose; one sister, Teresa Phillips of Littleton; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

*** Eric Lynn McCleary, 36, Grand Junction, died Jan. 26, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital. No services are planned.

Survivors include three brothers, Rick, and Ralph, both of Cedar Park Texas, and Mike of Dove Creek; five sisters, Cheryl Sloan of Decatur, Ill., Lori McCleary of Grand Junction, Darlene Richmond of Montrose, Tina McCleary of Grand Junction, and Paula McCleary of Phoenix.

*** Faith H. Reed, 79, Parachute, died Jan. 24, 2008. Services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rifle Funeral Home.

She worked at Aspen Country Store.

Survivors include her husband, David; two daughters, Hope Atkinson of Coffeyville, Kan., and Rachel Reed of Rifle; and one grandchild.

*** Former Fruita resident Frederick “Fred” Emerson Brown, 80, Parker, died Jan. 27, 2008, at Swedish Hospital in Englewood. Services will take place at a date to be determined.

Mr. Brown was a physician and anesthesiologist.

Survivors include three sons, Jeff of Clifton, Douglas of Avondale, Ariz., and Steven of Parker; and six grandchildren.

*** Ruby B. Henry, 92, Fruita, died Jan. 24, 2008, in Boulder. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday at Snell McLean Funeral Home in Fruita. Services will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Fruita Assembly of God Church.

Mrs. Henry was a minister.

Survivors include two sons, Paul of Oklahoma City and Ken of Fruita; one daughter, Linda of Boulder; four brothers, Robert, Dub and Earnest, all of Texas, and Jerold of Missouri; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Eric Hummel of Bartow, Fla.; two stepsons, Grant Heinrichs of Stafford, Va., and Ward Heinrichs of San Diego; one daughter, Jane Walters of Delta; one stepdaughter, Kris Ellen Earle of Boynton Beach, Fla.; one sisters, Gerolyn Dugan of Bountiful, Utah; and eight grandchildren.

*** Harold Allen Mosman, 75, Fruita, died Jan. 28, 2008, at his home. No services will take place.

Survivors include his wife, Ellie; two sons, Mark of Grass Valley, Calif., and Greg of Tampa, Fla.; one daughter, Robyn Vallinger of Anaheim, Calif.; one brother, John of Woodside, Calif.; one sister, Marlyn Fontis, Bakerville, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

*** Irma “Bobbi” Stryder, 82, Clifton, died Jan. 26, 2008, at her home. Services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Palisade Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Mrs. Stryder was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Ray; five sons, Jim Stryder and Larry Ross, both of Grand Junction, Thomas Ross of Aurora, Dennis Stryder of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Samuel Ross of Lincoln, Neb.; three daughters, Jeanne Cooper of Branson, Mo., Pam Stryder of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Misti Waltz of Winterset, Iowa; two brothers, Emery Hoyt of Grand Junction and Joe Hoyt of Ely, Nev.; two sisters, Gladys Priddy of Portage, Wis., and Lois Peterson of Sturgeon, Mo.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Fred; three sons, Freddy, Albert and Michael, all of Grand Junction; her father, William Ramsay Sr. of Montrose; two brothers, William Ramsay Jr., and David Ramsay, both of Grand Junction; two sisters, Judy Minton of Dayton, Nev., and Joyce Ramsay of Montrose; and 10 grandchildren.

*** Kenneth Eugene Wilson, 83, Grand Junction, died Jan. 28, 2008, at his home. Services will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ with burial at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Wilson was a supply officer for the Colorado State Grand Junction Regional Center.

Survivors include his wife, Edith E.; one son, Kent Wayne of Antlers, Okla.; one daughter, Joan Lynn Barbee of Palisade; two brothers, James Wilson and Donald Wilson, both of Joplin, Mo.; two sisters, Eileen Austin and Sue Gover, both of Jackson, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Cadman was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Stan, Vernon and Russell, all of Grand Junction; one daughter, Laura Cadman of Eckert; one sister, Phyllis Godfrey of Pueblo; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

*** William Todd Clark, 89, Grand Junction, died Jan. 29, 2008, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2595 S. Downing St., in Denver. Services will follow at noon.

Mr. Clark was a decorated World War II veteran.

Survivors include one son, Bill of Grand Junction; two daughters, Linda Clark Drobny of Littleton and Patricia Clark Mortinsen of Orlando, Fla.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Survivors include four daughters, Janice Erickson of Silver Springs, Md., Katherine Goodell and Dorothea Aguero, both of Anchorage, Alaska, and Diana Wythe of Grand Junction; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

*** Richard Jowell, 94, Silt, died Jan. 28, 2008. Services will take place at 11 a.m. Friday at the Rifle Funeral Home.

Mr. Jowell was a sheep rancher.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Evelyn; two sons, Arnold of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Donald of Craig; two daughters, Sally Antonelli and Stephanie, both of Silt; 12 grandchildren; and numerous grandchildren.

*** Martha Ann Lindsay, 66, Grand Junction, died Jan. 27, 2008. Services will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Callahan- Edfast Mortuary.

Mrs. Lindsay was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Mike; two sons, Steve Place of Grand Junction, and Tommy Maxwell of Washington; two daughters, Coleen Maxwell of Arkansas and Lisa Foster of California; one brother, Gene Garner of North Dakota; two sisters, Betty Browning of Redvale and Kathy Heinman of Arizona; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

*** Virginia Dee Shepard, 66, Clifton, died Jan. 29, 2008, at Mantey Heights Care Center. Services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday at Trinity Baptist Church with burial at Palisade Municipal Cemetery.

Ms. Shepard was disabled.

Survivors include her mother, Stella M. of Clifton; four brothers, Gary of Craig, Marvin of Fruita, Dennis of Clovis, Calif., and Dean of Clifton; and three sisters, Gloria Collins of San Diego and Linda Gillespie and Sonya Kearl, both of Grand Junction.
