He is survived by his wife, Jackie; daughter Donna Lomax; and son Michael Southard and wife Debbie; two grandchildren, Denise Greenwell and husband Brian, and Mike Lomax and wife MaryEllen; and two great-grandchildren, Gabby and Logan.

Charles Chuck Ivan Metz, 82, of Evergreen died Jan 30, 2012, at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge.
Chuck was born Nov. 14, 1929, in Butler County, Mo.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Carol Metz; brother Leonard Metz; sons Kirk Metz, Todd Metz and Bradley Metz; stepson Jerry Neal; grandchildren Rachel Metz, Tanner Metz, Dustin Metz and Kylee Metz; and great-grandchild Miley Metz.
A memorial service will be held May 5, 2012, in Evergreen, to celebrate Chuck’s life with family and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Myrna Gail Carlson, and his father, Charles George Carlson; his wife, Linda Ann Carlson; a sister, Gwen Jones; a brother, Mark Carlson; a daughter, Corine Francis Miles; a son, Christopher Charles Carlson; a daughter, Michelle Margaret Carlson; and granddaughters Isabella and Emily Miles.
Delano ‘Del’ Francis English
Delano “Del” Francis English died at his home on Jan. 25, 2012, at the age of 76.
He was born in Alliance, Neb., on May 31, 1935, the son of Teresa and Roy English. He received his bachelor’s degree from Long Beach State in California and served in the U.S. Air Force. Del dedicated his career to being a safety advocate, protecting workers across the country and abroad as a corporate safety engineer.

Ida Mae (Harrell) Seger, 81
Ida Mae (Harrell) Seger, 81, of Kittredge passed away Jan. 28, 2012.
Ida was born Aug. 3, 1930, in Logansport, Ind. Her family moved to Colorado when she was 3 years old to farm in Wheat Ridge. Ida graduated from Wheat Ridge High School.

Matthew George Krauss, 49, of Wheat Ridge passed away Jan. 23, 2012, after a short illness.
He is survived by his parents, George and Ruth Krauss of Evergreen; his grandmother, Florence Oeste of Evergreen; his brothers, Jonathan Krauss of Helena, Mont., Benjamin Krauss of Lakewood and Thomas Krauss of Algonquin, Ill.; and a son, Brandon Krauss of Grand Junction.

She is survived by her companion of 20 years, Gus Mayer, and her son, Thomas Frazier.
Robert K. Weinberger
Robert K. Weinberger, 53, of Evergreen lost his battle to cancer on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, in his home surrounded by his friends and family.
Services will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Evergreen at 11 a.m. Jan. 28, 2012, followed by a luncheon and a tribute to Robert’s life in the church’s reception hall.
Robert was born on March 1,1958, to Rudolph and Inge Weinberger in Munich, Germany. In 1994, Robert followed his dream of immigrating to the United States and became a citizen in 2005.

Mary Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Hickey Kochis, 88
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Hickey-Kochis will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 12801 W. 44th Ave. in Wheat Ridge. Betty passed away on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, after suffering complications from a stroke. She was 88 years old.

Thomas Lee Crader, 61, of Evergreen, formerly of Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at his brother’s home in Jefferson City.
He was born on Dec. 14, 1950, in Jefferson City, the son of the late Charles Royal and Matilda Buersmeyer Crader.
He attended St. Joseph Catholic School and St. Peter Catholic School, and was a graduate of Helias High School. Tom served with the Missouri National Guard.

Jeremy Raun Bucholz, 35, of Denver passed to the next life on Dec. 26, 2011. He was the son of Jerry and Donna Bucholz of Evergreen. He was born Feb. 29, 1976, in St. Louis Park, Minn.
Marc Belrose
Marc Belrose, M.D., of Evergreen, passed on Dec. 17, 2011.
He was the husband of Brenda Jansen; father of Steven, Michael and Brian Belrose; son of Alber and Natalie Belrose of Illinois; and brother of Bruce (Ester) Belrose and Robin (Williams) Pierce, both of Illinois. He was also an uncle to many loving nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Congregation Beth Evergreen.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Congregation Beth Evergreen religious school.
