SHANE KYLE FERRELL: Mr. Ferrell, 24, died Jan. 7, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He was a truck driver. Mr. Ferrell was born Feb. 28, 1975, in Rockford, Ill.

He is survived by his father, Bruce Cesarek; his mother, Sharon Cesarek; four brothers, Pat Cesarek, Jeramie Cesarek, Joe Modica and John Modica; and five sisters, Angela Cesarek, Marlena Bielefeldt, Donna Shephard, Maria York and Linda Williams.

Private services were held. Popeyez' Rocky Mountain Undertakers, 10 N. Walnut St., 337-3237, handled arrangements.

ARTHUR O. GROENEVELD: Mr. Groeneveld, 77, died Jan. 21, 2000, at a local hospital. He was a retired farmer and commercial painter. He served in the Army during World War II.

Mr. Groeneveld was born July 10, 1922, in Montrose, S.D., to Ontje John and Hilda (Otten) Groeneveld, who are deceased. He was married Sept. 30, 1950, to Mavis D. Stewart.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, David J., Mark A. and Thad A.; a daughter, Cheryl J. Burbank; two brothers, Marvin and Wilbur; two sisters, JoAnna Elder and Myrna Searl; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Daphne Steichen.

Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Lutheran Church, 4925 Farmingdale Drive. Private interment will be at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Rose Garden, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597.

FLOY A. DeWITT: Mrs. DeWitt, 93, a lifelong Colorado Springs area resident, died Jan. 20, 2000, at her home in Calhan. She was a teacher at Calhan High School for 30 years.

Mrs. DeWitt was born July 13, 1906, in Colorado Springs. She was married May 24, 1932, to Raymond C. DeWitt, who is deceased.

She is survived by two sons, William T. and Ivan W.; three daughters, Donna R. Hoover, Dorothy A. Karcher and Norma F. Adamson; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Swan Law Funeral Directos, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Calhan United Methodist Church, 583 Denver St., Calhan. Burial will be at Calhan Cemetery, Calhan.

VICTOR E. ALLEN: Mr. Allen, 78, died Jan. 21, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He was retired from the Marine Corps as a lieutenant colonel .

Mr. Allen was born May 23, 1921, in Winfield, Kan. He was married July 17, 1943, to Marilyn Marburger, who is deceased.

He is survived by two daughters, Jane Allen and June Mutuszak; two sisters, Barbara Taylor and Margaret Morris; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lighthouse Temple, 121 N. 32nd St. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, 1000 S. 26th St.

DANIEL ALVIN HARMON
Mr. Harmon, 98, died Jan. 7, 2000, in Caņon City.

He retired as a junior high school teacher from School District 11 and then after retiring, taught at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind.

Mr. Harmon was born Dec. 21, 1901, in Falls City, Neb.

He is survived by a daughter, Patsy Plant; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., 475-8303.

Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

NORMAN G. BARR

Mr. Barr, 78, died Jan. 9, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He served in the Navy and Army for a combined total of 21 years.

Mr. Barr was born Jan. 28, 1921, in Hopkinton, Iowa.

He is survived by five sons, Daniele, Ronnie, Gerald, Perry and Timothy; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver.

Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, 590-8922, is handling arrangements.

TERESA BRASSARD

Mrs. Brassard, 59, died Jan. 8, 2000, in Colorado Springs. Mrs. Brassard was born Jan. 10, 1940, in Pueblo. She was married May 18, 1986, to William Brassard.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Bart Dunnington and Troy Dunnington; two daughters, Denise Dunnington and Carla Holzer; two brothers, Raymond Hendren and Glen Hendren; two sisters, Arlene Harkness and Lavon Burks; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain View Mortuary Chapel, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, 590-8922. Cremation is planned.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, 633 S. Eighth St., Colorado Springs 80905.

BRENDA BANVARD

Ms. Banvard, 59, died Jan. 8, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a systems programmer for MCI.

Ms. Banvard was born Nov. 5, 1940, in Indianapolis.

She is survived by a son, Michael J.; and two sisters, Rosemary and Hilda.

A memorial service will be at noon Jan. 29 at Unity Church of the Rockies, 1945 Mesa Road. Colorado Springs Mortuary and Cremation Services, 3475 Astrozon Court, 392-4144, is handling arrangements.

WILDRED ELIZABETH MICHAEL

Mrs. Michael, 95, died Jan. 5, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She taught high school history and English and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Michael was born July 10, 1904, in Tekoa, Wash., to Colin Murchison and Harriet (Moss) Ewan, who are deceased.

She was married July 8, 1933, to Amos Chase Michael, who is deceased.

She is survived by two sons, Colin and Philip; two daughters, Mary Ann Brussat and Cora Kevan; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held. Burial was in Indianapolis.

DORA ZDAN WOODS

Miss Woods, 85, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Jan. 8, 2000, in Tucson, Ariz. She retired in 1988 as clerk stenographer from the Air Force Academy.

Miss Woods was born June 27, 1914, in Canada.

Private services were held. A private burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597, is handling local arrangements.

KATHRYN LOCKYER EDWARDS

Mrs. Edwards died Jan. 9, 2000, at a local care center. She retired as a secretary and claims agent for a Racine, Wisc. insurance company.

Mrs. Edwards was born in Cherokee, Iowa. She was married in June 1964 to Oscar M. Edwards, who is deceased.

She is survived by three nieces, Tosca Moore, Sheila Ehrich and Mary Ann Collins.

A vigil service will be at 5 p.m. today at Pauline Chapel, 9 El Pomar Road.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 9 El Pomar Road. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave. Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632-7608, is handling arrangements.

PEARL LUNDSTEN

Mrs. Lundsten, 80, died Jan. 2, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Lundsten was born June 20, 1919, in Colorado Springs, to Ralph and Nora Peabody, who are deceased. She was married Aug. 30, 1941, to Milton Lundsten.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Marilyn Belveal; a brother, Clarence Peabody; a sister, Betty Moore; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Swan Law Cascade Chapel. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Deacon's Fund in care of First Presbyterian Church, 219 E. Bijou St., Colorado Springs 80905.

THELMA McALLISTER

Mrs. McAllister, 85, died Jan. 1, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. McAllister was born July 4, 1914, in Ruston, La. She was married March 24, 1952, to William H. McAllister, who is deceased.

She is survived by two sons, Newman E. McAllister and Dennis Wyatt; a daughter, Deborah O. Knight; two brothers, William E. Kinman and William B. Kinman Jr.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be in Ruston. Burial will be at New Prospect Baptist Church and Cemetery, Ruston. Pikes Peak Funeral and Cremation Services, 3825 Airport Road, 596-7991, is handling local arrangements.
