BENJAMIN JOHN ZARSKY

Mr. Zarsky, 77, died Dec. 25, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He worked in home product sales and served in the Army for three years.

Mr. Zarsky was born May 10, 1923, in Shenandoah, Pa., to John and Constance (Meinkewicz) Zarski, who are deceased. He was married Sept. 23, 1950, to Dorothy E. Kurz.

He is survived by his wife; and two sons, David "Dave" and Dennis. He was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Mizzer.

Graveside services will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver. Cappadona's Alternative Funeral Services, 3407 N. El Paso St., 520-1817, is handling arrangements.

EMILY LOUISE (TRUMBULL) CORRELL

Mrs. Correll, 88, died Dec. 16, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker and nurse.

Mrs. Correll was born April 3, 1912, in Athens, Mich., to Marshall and Marcia Trumbull, who are deceased. She was married Nov. 28, 1934, to Cecil J. Correll, who is deceased.

She is survived by two sons, Tom of Minneapolis and Fred of Colorado Springs.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were in Michigan. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunridge Retirement Home, 5820 Flintridge Drive. Burial was at North Sherwood Cemetery, Athens. Schipper Funeral Home, Colon, Mich., (616) 432-3325, is handling arrangements.

BETTY INEZ (PEABODY) MOORE

Mrs. Moore, 75, died Dec. 28, 2000, at a local hospital. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Moore was born Aug. 12, 1925, in Colorado Springs to Ralph L. and Nora (Jones) Peabody, who are deceased. She was married Dec. 30, 1946, to Leroy C. "Bud" Moore, who is deceased.

She is survived by a daughter, Janice Whittington; a brother, Clarence Peabody; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Lundsten.

Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Monday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bethany Baptist Church, 1930 W. Colorado Ave. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Tribes Missions for Roger and Eva Jeane Dockum, 1000 E. First St., Sanford, FL 32771-1487.

ARLINE R. WARD

Mrs. Ward, 82, died Dec. 22, 2000, at a local care center. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Ward was born Sept. 12, 1918, in Brownell, Kan., to Clay and Hazel (Philpot) Coughenour, who are deceased. She was married to Lee Roy Ward, who is deceased.

She is survived by a son, Donald Lee; a daughter, Shirley Jean Welker; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Inurnment will be at a later date in Pueblo. Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900, is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Rocky Mountain Chapter, 2930 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Colorado Springs 80918.

RICHARD "DICK" MYER

Mr. Myer, 66, died Dec. 28, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He was a civil service computer technician. He retired as a technical sergeant from the Air Force after 20 years of service. He served in Vietnam and Korea.

Mr. Myer was born Feb. 26, 1934, in West Union, W. Va., to Ingram and Hallie C. (Shinn) Myer, who are deceased. He was married Oct. 13, 1954, to Sharon R. Bogan.

He is survived by his wife; four sons, Richard W. of New Vienna, Iowa, Randall E. of Albuquerque, N.M., Robert L. of Colorado Springs and Rustin R. of Colorado Springs; a daughter, Karen B. Gillespie of Colorado Springs; a brother, Ernest of Parkersburg, W. Va.; two sisters, Mary Humfleet of Colorado Springs and Helen Broulette of Central Station, W.Va.; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers; a sister; and a grandson, Aaron C.

Services will be at a later date at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 5265 N. Union Blvd. Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, 590-8922, is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pikes Peak Christian School, 5059 Flintridge Drive, Colorado Springs 80918.

GRACE ALICE ROSALEA (HOMEYER) BUTTS

Mrs. Butts, 79, died Dec. 16, 2000, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Butts was born Aug. 18, 1921, in Faribault, Minn., to Albert H. and Mathilda (Bachmann) Homeyer, who are deceased. She was married Jan. 10, 1953 to Harold A. Butts, Jr., who is deceased.

She is survived by three sons, Harold A. III, Brian K. and Earl L.; and a sister, Irene Zimmerman. She was preceded in death by a brother and several sisters.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave.

Inurnment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road.

KEVIN ALLEN WIDMOYER

Mr. Widmoyer, 37, died Dec. 15, 2000, at his home in Colorado Springs. He was employed as a sales associate.

Mr. Widmoyer was born March 12, 1963, in Denver to Clifford A. and Charlann (Seaney) Widmoyer. His father is deceased.

He is survived by a son, Kevin Allen II; his mother, Charlann Widmoyer Jeffrey, and her husband, George Jeffrey; and a brother, Brett Lane .

Private memorial services will be at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597.

ANTHONY MICHAEL ANAYA

Mr. Anaya, 49, died Dec. 15, 2000, in Caņon City. He was employed as a cook.

Mr. Anaya was born April 29, 1951, in Las Vegas, N.M., and his parents are Faustin Herrera and Marie Anaya. His father is deceased. He was married Nov. 16, 1991, to Irene (Garcia) Anaya.

He is survived by his wife; a stepson, Jerry Duran; a stepdaughter, Jacquelyn Raye; his mother; three brothers, Leroy, Arthur, and Ronnie; two sisters, Lucy Crespin and Dorothy Tafoya; two stepsisters, Anna Anaya and Danette Anaya. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today, with services at 6 p.m., at Grace Fellowship Church, 6540 Templeton Gap Road.

Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

JOHN ETHAN BURDEN

John, infant son of John and Jennifer Burden, died Dec. 15, 2000, at a local hospital.

John was born Dec. 15, 2000, in Colorado Springs.

He is survived by his parents; his paternal grandparents, John and Elva Burden; and his maternal grandparents, Linda Hamilton and Gary Huffman.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900.

Cremation is planned.

WALTER D. PORTER

Mr. Porter, 81, died Dec. 17, 2000, at a local care center. He retired as a real estate and mortgage broker. He also served in the Army Air Corps.

Mr. Porter was born July 22, 1919, in Pueblo to Andrew Mason and Emma R. (Presler) Porter, who are deceased. He was married Dec. 14, 1941, to Marjorie (Carr) Porter.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Mason R. and Michael L.; a daughter, Sheila Skubby; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Swan-Law Funeral Directors.

Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, 1000 S. 26th St..

HUBERT A. CHICOINE

Mr. Chicoine, 79, died Dec. 9, 2000, in Colorado Springs. He was a self-employed farmer.

Mr. Chicoine was born Nov. 20, 1921, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Emil and Evonne (Morin) Chicoine, who are deceased. He was married Feb. 10, 1945, to Mary E. Sheahan, who is deceased.

He is survived by a son, Dr. Rene J. Chicoine; a daughter, Paula Hanson; two brothers, Ferdie and Leighton; a sister, Maxine Galland; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be in Jefferson, S.D. Burial will be at St. Peter's Catholic Church Cemetery, Jefferson. Cappadona's Alternative Funeral Services, 3407 N.
