GABRIELLE "GIGI" ZVONKOVICH

Gigi, 39, died May 21, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a programs coordinator for the U.S. Olympic Committee's Athlete Marketing Department. She joined the USOC staff in June 1990.

Gigi was born April 7, 1962, in Chicago, to Joseph J. and Catherine R. (Galich) Zvonkovich. Her father is deceased.

She is survived by her mother; a sister, Virginia (Michael) Scully, of Cypress, Calif. ; a sister-in-law, Mariya, of Colorado Springs; two nieces, Tomi and Andreja; two nephews, Kevin Scully and Michael Scully; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph John.

Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Friday, with a rosary at 7, at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. A viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10, at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church, 11020 Teachout Road, Black Forest. After the Mass of Christian burial, a reception will be at the International Polka Club, 2422 Busch Ave. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Olympic Training Center, One Olympic Plaza. Entombment will be at Shrine of Remembrance Gate of Heaven Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church, 11020 Teachout Road, Black Forest 80908.

BETTY L. MOLLOY

Mrs. Molloy, 73, died May 22, 2001, at a local care center after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the retired owner of McConnells True Value Hardware. She was active in the Girl Scouts for more than 30 years, a "Grandfriend" at Martinez Elementary for 13 years and a member of the Colorado Springs Executive Association for 16 years.

Mrs. Molloy was born May 2, 1928, in Chicago, to Joseph and Alma (Swenson) Binder, who are deceased. She was married Aug. 1, 1953, to Charlie W. Molloy Jr.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Michael (Pauline); two daughters, Patti (Ron) Pierce and Kathi (Larry) Owen; and two grandchildren, Sean Coker and Shannon Coker.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 4925 N. Carefree Circle. Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, 590-8922, is handling arrangements.

CHRISTINE FRALEY

Ms. Fraley, 61, died May 22, 2001, at a local care center. She worked for Pharmerica in Colorado Springs and Village at Skyline in Colorado Springs.

Ms. Fraley was born Feb. 6, 1940, in Troppau, Czechoslovakia, to Adolf and Else (Bartsch) Huebner, who are deceased.

She is survived by a son, Mark of Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Tracy of Colorado Springs; a brother, Winfried Huebner of Germany; and four sisters, Waltraut Lafferty of Franklin, Ohio, Rosie Graudins of Rochester, N.Y., Elly Hirscherberger of Germany and Anni Huebner of Germany.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Mountain Memorial Services, 51 County Road 5, Divide, 687-0333. Cremation is planned.

LAURA E. HASKINS

Mrs. Haskins, 69, a Colorado Springs resident, died May 21, 2001, in Denver. She was a private entrepreneur.

Mrs. Haskins was born Oct. 12, 1931, in Cairo, Egypt, to Henry and Elvira (Concolino) Smith, who are deceased. She was married May 18, 1952, to Joseph Haskins, who is deceased.

She is survived by three sons, Joseph D. Jr., Earl W. and Melvin T.; three daughters, Laurelle S. Pearson, Rachael S. Martin and Laila S. Narlock; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900.

MALCOLM P. RICHARDS

Mr. Richards, 84, died May 11, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a vice president of purchases and stores for New York Central Railroad and Penn Central Railroad.

Mr. Richards was born Sept. 2, 1916, in Denver to William Towner and Lula (Carmichael) Richards, who are deceased. He was married Dec. 30, 1939, to Lois H. Hicks.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Malcolm P. Jr. and William T. II; three daughters, Meredyth P. Tippin, Sally C.N. Meeker and Ann E. Alexander; three sisters, Janet Boblett, Shirley Brunton and Joanne Casebeer; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be held at a later date at Broadmoor Community Church-United Church of Christ, 315 Lake Ave. Inurnment will be at Broadmoor Community Church in the glen. Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900, is handling arrangements.

HELEN MARION

Mrs. Marion, 79, died May 11, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a retired public school teacher and served in the Women's Auxiliary Corps for three years during World War II.

Mrs. Marion was born Aug. 31, 1921, in St. Clair, Pa., to Charles and Mary (Voloshin) Lushok, who are deceased. She was married June 17, 1967, to Martin P. Marion.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Ralph Bledsoe; a daughter, Robin Marion; and a sister, Elizabeth Lushok.

Services and cremation will be held at a later date. Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, 590-8922, is handling arrangements.

MYRTLE E. RICO

Mrs. Rico, 76, died May 9, 2001, at a local hospital after a long illness. She was a homemaker and a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.

Mrs. Rico was born July 17, 1924, in Colorado Springs to George William and Elizabeth Catherine (Heid) Black, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 14, 1941, to William "Bill" Joseph Rico.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Randal Eugene; a daughter, Patricia Ann Swim; a son-in-law Bill Swim; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2318 N. Cascade Ave. Private family inurnment is planned. Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900, is handling arrangements.

KARL G. WAHL

Mr. Wahl, 75, died May 10, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He worked for The Gazette for 30 years, then worked for Free Press and later owned his own full-service ad agency.

Mr. Wahl was born Sept. 20, 1925, in Colorado Springs to Ivar William and Pearl G. (Wariner) Wahl, who are deceased. He was married Sept. 7, 1949, to Nancy Ragan, who is deceased.

He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Tiffany; a brother, Iver W.; a sister, Ruth Laughlin; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Umfress.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Episcopal Church, 601 N. Tejon St. Inurnment will be at Grace Episcopal Church Columbarium. Cappadona's Alternative Funeral Service, 3133 N. El Paso St., 520-1817, is handling arrangements.

ROBERT ELDON LEGO

Mr. Lego, 79, died April 28, 2001, at a local care center. He was a painter, a wallpaper hanger and a past president of the Breakfast Optimist Club.

Mr. Lego was born Jan. 5, 1922, in Chadwick, Ill., to Robert and Hazel (Beidler) Lego, who are deceased. He was married Sept. 16, 1978, to Elizabeth Elias, who is deceased.

He is survived by two sons, O.J. Mooneyham III and Hunter Mooneyham; four daughters, Sheryl Allerton, Janice Harms, Nancy Brown and Lane Cannella; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Holly Priestly.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, 420 N. Nevada Ave. Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive., 590-8922, is handling arrangements.

JOSEPH WILLIAM SEEMUTH

Mr. Seemuth, 85, died May 10, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He retired as a superintendent and fleet manager of Griffin Laboratory in Chicago, and then owned a business in Manistee, Mich.

Mr. Seemuth was born June 22, 1915, in Rock Island, Ill., to Jacob and Eva Seemuth, who are deceased. He was married Aug. 18, 1939, to Helen Harriet Mummert, who is deceased.

He is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. Timerman of Colorado Springs and Susan D. Lubejko of Waupaca, Wis.; two grandsons, Joseph C. Timerman and Edward Lubejko, both of Colorado Springs; two granddaughters, Carrie Feezel of Wisconsin and Darla Foreback of Colorado Springs; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. Burial will be at Bear Lake Cemetery, Bear Lake, Mich.

RAYMOND C. "RAY" EDMONDS

Mr. Edmonds, 49, a lifelong Manitou Springs resident, died May 7, 2001, in Hilo, Hawaii. He was a retired computer architect with Intel.

Mr. Edmonds was born March 26, 1952, in Colorado Springs to Charles M. "Bud" and Madeline "Jackie" Edmonds, who are deceased. He was married Aug. 8, 1987, to Diane M. Pantle.

He is survived be his wife; and a sister Lesley "Karen" Edmonds of California.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Fellowship of the Rockies, 1625 S. 8th St. Private inurnment is planned. Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597, is handling arrangements.

CRUZ ULIBARRI ROMERO

Mr. Romero, 89, died May 11, 2001, at a local hospital. He was a farm laborer and a railroad worker. He also served in the Marine Corps.

Mr. Romero was born May 3, 1912, in Colonias, N.M., to Miguel Romero and Grabrielita Ulibarri, who are deceased. He was married Feb. 1, 1931, to Lugardita Urban, who is deceased.

He is survived by two sons, Jose Fermin and Eduardo; five daughters, Rosa Lucero, Corrine Martinez, Carlie Moncada, Cruzita Romero and Gloria Romero; 31 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Miguel; three infant daughters; three brothers, Luis, Antonio and Manuel; and two sisters, Vicenta Sisneros and Aurelia Marez.

Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Blunt Mortuary Chapel, 2229 W. Colorado Ave., 634-8831. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2030 W. Colorado Ave. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Pantry Fund, 2021 W. Pikes Peak Ave., Colorado Springs 80904.

SON YE WOODY

Mrs. Woody, 67, died May 10, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She worked in food services at Fort Carson.

Mrs. Woody was born Jan. 14, 1934, in Seoul, Korea, to Tong Son and Ssi (Pak) Yi, who are deceased. She was married May 7, 1973, to Thomas Woody.

She is survived by her husband.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Ave., 634-8831, followed by services at Blunt Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver.
