DONALD E. DAVIS

Mr. Davis, 64, died Jan. 17, 2001, at a local care center. He was owner of Davis Ditching Inc. and served in the Navy.

Mr. Davis was born July 9, 1936, in Monticello, Ky., to Local and Dorothy Davis. His mother is deceased. He was married to Effie Yvonne Phillips.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Alan; a daughter, Sherie Shupe; his father; three brothers, Billy, Carlos and Junior; two sisters, Bonnie Bell and Mary Jane Steele; and a grandson, Timothy. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ned.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel, 3945 N. Academy Blvd. Burial will be private. Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632-7608, is handling arrangements.

LORRAINE V. DUCOMMUN

Mrs. Ducommun, 75, died Jan. 13, 2001, at a local care center. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Ducommun was born Sept. 28, 1925, in Holcombe, Wis., to Earnest Beaulieu and Melina Parsons, who are deceased.

She was married Dec. 31, 1945, to Earl Leon Ducommun.

She is survived by her husband; three sons, Glen Allen, Eric and Craig Leon; a daughter, Lora Jean Caraballo; a brother, Lawrence Beaulieu; a sister, Norma Gantzert; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Earl.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fountain Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 500 Columbine Ave., Fountain. Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. U.S. Highway 85/87, Fountain, 390-4906, is handling cremation.

C.D. D'AGNESE

C.D., infant son of Dan and Candi D'Agnese, died Jan. 11, 2001, in Colorado Springs.

C.D. was born Jan. 11, 2001, in Colorado Springs.

He is survived by his parents; and a sister, Ashley.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Woodmen Valley Chapel, 477 Woodmen Valley Road. Inurnment will be private.

WILLIAM T. BRINDLEY

Mr. Brindley, 80, died Jan. 16, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He retired as a tool and dye maker from the aircraft industry.

Mr. Brindley was born Nov. 20, 1920, in Los Angeles to Vern and Cecelia M. (O'Hagan) Brindley, who are deceased. He was married Feb. 8, 1945, to Mary Carmel Roth, who is deceased.

He is survived by three sons, Michael, Joseph and Christopher; three daughters, Maureen Eaton, Ann Farrell and Carmel O'Sullivan; a brother, Robert; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at McCormick Mortuary, 635 S. Prarie Ave., Inglewood, Calif. A Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Visitation Catholic Church, 6561 W. 88th St., Los Angeles. Burial will be at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Culver City, Calif.

Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900, is handling local arrangements.

LINDA KAY McDOWELL

Linda, 54, a Widefield resident, died Jan. 13, 2001, in Denver. She retired as a postal carrier after 26 years and worked for Widefield School District 3 and at Atmel for more than three years.

Linda was born Nov. 2, 1946, in Little Rock, Ark., to Thomas J. Lawrence and Jean E. Barnett. Her mother is deceased.

She is survived by a son, Anthony H. Walton; two daughters, Catherine Cullen and Jean M. Aragon; her father; two brothers, Tommy L. Lawrence and James J. Barnett; a cousin, James Lee Bracelen; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8:30 p.m today at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. U.S. Highway 85/87, Fountain, 390-4906. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Security Christian Church, 626 Aspen Drive, Security. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

JOAN TURNER JACOBSON

Mrs. Jacobson, 70, died Jan. 16, 2001, in Colorado Springs.

She was manager of the Albany Hotel from 1968 to 1979.

She also owned and operated the Eastholme Hotel/Bed and Breakfast of Cascade and worked at Van Briggle Pottery.

Mrs. Jacobson was born Jan. 15, 1931, in Kansas City, Mo., to Lyle J. and Hazel Nelson Turner, who are deceased. She was married Aug. 29, 1951, to Harland Jacobson, who is deceased.

She is survived by two sons, Eric and Rolf; two daughters, Leesa and Laurel; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, 1515 N. Cascade Ave.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery, 1000 S. 26th St.

WILLIAM G. "BILL" NIX SR.

Mr. Nix, 59, died Jan. 16, 2001, at a local hospital. He retired from the Marine Corps after 20 years of service. He served two terms in Vietnam.

Mr. Nix was born Sept. 30, 1941, in Matewan, W. Va., to John D. and Ruth (Tyler) Nix, who are deceased. He was married Aug. 5, 1961, to Shirley A. Najjar.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, William G. "Bill" Jr. and Robert E.; a daughter, Dawn Marie Nix-Hrebicek; a brother, John E.; five sisters, Anna Jo Bowen, Jean Bowen, Shirley Baidon, Eleanor Adray and Margaret Bowie; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry, Clyde and Arnold; and a sister, Nellie.

Visitation will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, with a funeral service at 5 p.m., at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597.

Inurnment will be private.

NICOLE LYNE FIELDS

Miss Fields, 20, died Jan. 12, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a student.

Miss Fields was born Aug. 30, 1980, to Daniel R. and Tammy (Murr) Fields.

She is survived by her parents; a sister, Amy Jo; a grandmother, Vivian Fields; and her grandparents, Bob and June Fields, Fred and Carol Murr and Ardis and Creig Peery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-7700. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Radiant Church, 4020 Maizeland Road.

Burial will be at Peyton Cemetery in Peyton.

H. WARD HAMILTON

Mr. Hamilton, 81, died Jan. 15, 2001, at a local care center. He was the owner of Mo-Ham Carpet Cleaners and Layers.

Mr. Hamilton was born June 13, 1919, in Unionville, Mo. He was married Nov. 3, 1937, to Betty M. Moser.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Gary and Harold "Budgie"; a sister, Marie Bochmann; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses.

Entombment will be after services at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum.

JOSE F. TRUJILLO

Mr. Trujillo, 90, died Jan. 11, 2001, at a local care center. He retired after 27 years of civil service at Fort Carson. He served in the Army during World War II.

Mr. Trujillo was born April 11, 1910, in Mineral Hill, N.M., to Merijldo Trujillo and Petra Benavidas, who are deceased. He was married to Antonia Gonzalez, who is deceased.

He is survived by four sons, Louis, Charles, Frank and Paul; five daughters, Shirley Hansen, Catherine Darden, Ramona Bronstad, Marcie Buntrock and Sue Trujillo; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 101 N. Main St., Fountain.
