DELCIA R. (HODGES) McDANIEL

Mrs. McDaniel, 103, died March 15, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. McDaniel was born Aug. 13, 1897, in Hercules, Mo., to Benjamin R. and Frances (Craig) Hodges, who are deceased. She was married Jan. 4, 1920, to Marvin H. McDaniel, who is deceased.

She is survived by a son, Roy Marvin; a daughter, Agnes Ava Lanman; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitations will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

JERRAL EDWARD BERTRAM

Mr. Bertram, 59, a Monument resident, died March 15, 2001, in Flower Mound, Texas. He retired as a sales manager for Detroit Diesel after 32 years and also worked for Allis Chalmers and Perkins Engines. He also served in the Army

Mr. Bertram was born Oct. 21, 1941, in Lamesa, Texas, to Thomas Edward and Montez (Corbitt Bertram). He was married June 4, 1966, to Donna Dewey.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Dena Duren and Denise White, both of Flower Mound; three sisters, Carol McGuire of Waco, Texas, Elaine Pierce of Oklahoma City and Beverly Dyer of Midland, Texas; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, 420 N. Nevada Ave. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 148 W. Church St., Lewisville, Texas, (972) 436-4581, is handling arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bertram memorial Fund, in care of First United Methodist Church, 420 N. Nevada Ave., Colorado Springs 80903.

BERNALISE C. KRTINICH

Mrs. Krtinich, 72, died March 15, 2001, in Colorado Springs as a result of pancreatic cancer. She was a registered nurse and homemaker.

Mrs. Krtinich was born Sept. 1, 1929, in Hibbing, Minn., to Joseph and Ethel Mae (Stover) Cox, who are deceased. She was married March 1, 1954, to George A. Krtinich.

She is survived by her husband; four sons, Gregory J., James S., Samuel C. and Patrick M.; two daughters, Jorgeann K. Hogg and Diane M. Murphy; a sister; and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven siblings.

No services are planned. Inurnment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver. Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, 590-8922, is handling arrangements.

AMOS MASCARENAS

Mr. Mascarenas, 79, a Fountain resident, died March 15, 2001, in Denver. He was a pastor and school teacher. He also served in the Army for two years.

Mr. Mascarenas was born July 19, 1921, in Saguache, to Sirio and Rebecca (Chavez) Mascarenas, who are deceased. He was married Feb. 11, 1946, to Louisa Estella Ruybal.

He is survived by his wife; four sons, Amos, Ignacio, Eutimio and Leland; a daughter, Melita Cheree Mascarenas; two brothers, Tom and Paul; a sister, Stefana Mighell; numerous nieces and nephews; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister and a granddaughter.

Services will be at noon Tuesday at Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Road. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Swan-law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900, is handling arrangements.

IDA M. SUMMERFIELD

Mrs. Summerfield, 82, died March 15, 2001, at a local care center. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Summerfield was born March 2, 1919, in Jansen, to Tobias and Flora (Viguiri) Sandoval, who are deceased. She was married in 1965 to Eddlee Summerfield, who is deceased.

She is survived by three sons, Joey L. Maldonado, Daniel R. Maldonado and William Oberding; three daughters, Rita Monroe, Marcella Krakowski and Ida Christine Madrid; a step-daughter, Wilma Summerfield Tagaban; two sisters, Christine Nunemacher and Nora Perea; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.

Visitations will be from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 1520 E. Yampa St. Burial will be at noon, Tuesday at Cimarron Cemetery, Cimarron, N.M.

ANN E. HURBAN

Mrs. Hurban, 96, died March 15, 2001, at a local care center. She was a medical assistant for Brookfield Medical Center in Brookfield, Ill., and a homemaker.

Mrs. Hurban was born Feb. 12, 1905, in Chicago, to August Jeschke and Elizabeth Schaeffer, who are deceased. She was married Feb. 6, 1926, to Raymond F. Hurban, who is deceased.

She is survived by two sons, Robert of Warrenville, Ill., and Rod of Elgin, Ill.; a daughter, Phyllis Phillips of Colorado Springs; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. Entombment will be at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Garden of Angels, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd.

OVERTON H. GILMERE

Mr. Gilmere, 84, died Feb. 22, 2001, at a local care center. He worked in sales.

Mr. Gilmere was born Jan. 25, 1917, in Springfield, Mo. He was married November 22, 1941, to Agnes Barbara Iwanczyk, who is deceased.

He is survived by two sons, Howard and Keith; two daughters, Barbara Pfister and Sheila Ramsey; a son-in-law, David Ramsey; two daughters-in-law, Liesel and LaCarla; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Ed, Harold, Red and Bill; and a sister, Neva.

Private services were Saturday. Inurnment has taken place. Imperial Gardens, Pueblo, (719) 564-0929, handled arrangements.

JEANNE ANN (BOTNEN) HILLS

Mrs. Hill, 69, died Feb. 24, 2001, at a local hospital after a long illness. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Hills was born Aug. 24, 1931, in Fort Snelling, Minn., to Karl O. and Margaret (Luxum) Botnen Sr., who are deceased. She was married Dec. 14, 1953, to Howard M. Hills.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Dennis; a daughter, Valerie J.; a sister, Millie Tabor; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. U.S. Highway 85/87, Fountain, 390-4906. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dove-Witt Fountain Valley Chapel. Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver.

ALBERT FRED SCHEER

Mr. Scheer, 82, died Feb. 25, 2001, at a local hospital. He retired as yeoman from the Navy after 28 years of service. He served in World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He retired from active duty November 1967. He worked with Motor Parts & Supply Co. of Colorado Springs until his retirement.

Mr. Scheer was born April 8, 1918, in Orchard, Neb., to Fred H. Scheer and Anna Maria Krueger, who are deceased.

He is survived by two sisters, Fern Mosel, of Turney, Mo. and Mildred Ennen, of Plattsburg, Mo.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. today at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, 120 N. 31st St. Graveside services, with full military honors, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Cemetery, Orchard. Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., 475-8303, is handling arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to Braille for Lutheran in care of Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, 120 N. 31st. St., Colorado Springs 80904.

MARION CHRISTINA CALDWELL

Mrs. Caldwell, 83, died Feb. 25, 2001, in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Caldwell was born July 9, 1917, in Seoul, Korea, to Thomas and Mabel Mansfield, who are deceased. She was married Nov. 29, 1935, to Wilbur Warren Caldwell, who is deceased.

He is survived by two sons, David Webb Caldwell and Thomas Shelby Caldwell; three daughters, Susan Christine Chandler, Virginia Mae Helweg and Marjorie Anne Thomas; three brothers, Paul, Richard and George; three sisters, Helen Jones, Elma Goulash and Muriel Gilchrist; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Private services are planned. Cappadona's Alternative Funeral Services, 3407 N. El Paso St., 520-1817, is handling arrangements.

BEATRICE MAUDE HASKIN

Mrs. Haskin, 88, died Feb. 26, 2001, at her home in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Haskin was born Aug. 20, 1912, in Colorado Springs, to George J. and Annie (Hammond) Wright, who are deceased. She was married in 1937 to Willis Haskin, who is deceased.

She is survived by a son, David, of Colorado Springs. She was preceded in death by a brother, George Wright, and a sister, Elsie Schueler.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber St., 632-7608. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Nolan Funeral Home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.

THOMAS SCOTT "TOM" SUTLIFF

Mr. Sutliff, 39, died Feb. 12, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He was a medic and also worked at Pikes Peak Hospice. He served as a medic in the Navy for nine years.

Mr. Sutliff was born Dec. 18, 1961, in Colorado Springs to William Harrison and Opal Leah (Stucky) Sutliff.

He is survived by two sons, Adam Wayne and Samuel Brian; his parents; and a sister, Paula Kathleen Sauter. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Stuart Duane, William Harrison III and Matthew Peter.

Private family services are planned. Cappadona's Alternative Funeral Services, 3407 N. El Paso St., 520-1817, is handling arrangements.

TEENA L. (DEFOOR) ANDERSON

Teena, 43, died Feb. 13, 2001, in Security. She was a mother.

Teena was born Dec. 12, 1957, in Colorado Springs to Robert L. and Ruth A. Defoor.

She is survived by three daughters, Therasa Murry, Teneka Anderson and Tarena Anderson; her parents; two brothers, Rae and Ralph "Benny"; a sister, Fay; numerous aunts and uncles; and five grandchildren.

Services will be announced later.

Colorado Springs Mortuary and Cremation Services, 3475 Astrozon Court, 392-4144, is handling cremation.
