Agnes E. Morin

WATERBURY -- Agnes E. (Pryor) Morin, 88, formerly of Mayberry Circle, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002 at Abbott Terrace Health Center, after a long illness. She was the widow of Henry M. Morin.

Mrs. Morin was born Jan. 19, 1914, in Waterbury, daughter of the late William and Nora (Ryan) Pryor. She worked in the blueprint department at Airpax Corp. in Cheshire, retiring after 25 years. She was a communicant of SS. Peter and Paul Church, and was a former member of the church's Ladies Guild. She loved dancing.

She leaves a daughter, Carole O'Neill of Plantsville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her brother, William Pryor and her sister, Mary Richmond are deceased.

The funeral will be held at 9:45 a.m. Monday from Bergin Funeral Home, 290 E. Main St., Historic Downtown Waterbury, to SS. Peter and Paul Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, 06492.

Daniel B. Parisi

FAIRFIELD -- Daniel B. Parisi, 74, of Fairfield, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002 in St. Vincent's Medical Center.

Born in Bridgeport, he lived in Fairfield for most of his life and was the retired former owner of the Fairfield Tax and Accounting Co. Mr. Parisi was a graduate of the University of Bridgeport. He was an active member of the Fairfield Elks Club where he was the recipient of the Man of the Year Award.

Survivors include his daughter, Luann P. Kelly and husband, John of Wallingford; one grandson, Timothy M. Kelley of Wallingford; one sister, Margery Howland and her husband, Jack of Fairfield; his former wife, Rose Parisi; brother-in-law, Michael Gelomino and sister-in-law, Dorothy Sumski; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Arthur Parisi; and one grandson, Christopher Kelley.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 28, at 10:30 a.m. directly at Assumption Church, Fairfield with a Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Spear Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250-0301 or to St. Jude children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, Tenn 38101.

Helen Pasensky

WALLINGFORD -- Helen Chandler Pasensky, 93, formerly of Fair St., Wallingford, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002 at the Coccomo Memorial Health Care Center in Meriden. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry F. Pasensky.

Born in Wallingford, Oct. 16, 1909, a daughter of the late Henry Chandler and the late Mary Clarke Chandler, she was a lifelong Wallingford resident. She was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church.

Mrs. Pasensky is survived by her daughter, Kathleen A. Pasensky and her daughter and son-in-law, Maureen R. and Alfred Ercolani, all of Wallingford; her grandchildren, Renee Clark, Joseph Ercolani, Todd Ercolani, Teresa Ercolani, Jeremy Ercolani, Jill Ercolani and Jason Ercolani; her great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Joshua Clark, Nicole, Heather and Jacob Ercolani, Ryan and Tyler Ercolani, Trisha Ercolani, Tianna and Trevor Negron, Alexis Ercolani and Kaitlyn Ercolani; her great-great-granddaughter, Tamara Gully; her brothers, Walter Chandler and Robert Chandler; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Harold, Howard, George, Justin and Joseph Chandler.

Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home 809 North Main St., Ext., Wallingford, Saturday from 9 to 10:15 a.m., when the funeral cortege will proceed to Most Holy Trinity Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the Patients Memorial Fund, Coccomo Memorial Health Care Center, 33 Cone Ave., Meriden, CT 06450. Helen will truly be missed by her family.

Rose C. Trigilio

MERIDEN -- Rose C. Trigilio, 87, wife of Michael Trigilio of 166 Belvedere Drive, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2002 in the Meriden Center after a brief illness.

She was born in North Haven, April 21, 1915, the daughter of the late Evasio and Mary Betta. She was a resident of Meriden for the past 63 years. For many years she worked with her husband in their family grocery store at 6 Springdale Ave., until it closed in 1970. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She had been a member of the Meriden Council of Catholic women. Her most favorite activity was tending to her beautiful flower gardens.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, John and Eunice Betta of North Haven; also by several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Monday, Oct. 28 at 9:45 a.m. from the Smith-Ruzzo Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden with her funeral liturgy in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 a.m. She will be interred in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her husband in the funeral home on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Chester P. Wysocki

HEBRON -- Chester P. Wysocki, 82, of 14 Stonecroft Village of Hebron, formerly of 346 Thorpe Ave., Meriden, husband of the late Violette (Cerrone) Wysocki, died on Friday, Oct. 24, 2002, after a short illness.

Born in Meriden on July 9, 1920, he was the son of the late Frank and Constance Wysocki and he had resided in Meriden all of his life, and he graduated from Meriden High School and Wilcox Tech. Mr. Wysocki was employed by Lyon and Billard Company for 50 years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Navy. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. He was past president of both the Meriden Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 720 and District No. 4 State of Connecticut F.O.E.

He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Leonard L. and Anne Wysocki; and two grandsons, Andrew and Christian Wysocki of Hebron; and one brother, Joseph Wysocki of Meriden. He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Diana Marie; two sisters, Josephine and Eleanor; and six brothers, Steve, Stanley, Peter, Wallace, Walter and John.

The funeral will be held on Monday, Oct. 28, at 11:30 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden and at 12 noon in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial with military honors will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the Mass from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Contributions in his memory can be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital Memorial/Honor Program, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, Tenn 38101-9929.

Elizabeth Zecca

MIDDLETOWN -- Elizabeth Zecca, 89, of 600 Highland Ave., formerly of 656 Center St., Wallingford died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002 at the High View Healthcare Center in Middletown. She was the wife of the late Angelo Zecca Sr.

She was born in New York City, N.Y., Jan. 28, 1913, a daughter of the late David and Elizabeth Congdon Casey. Until her retirement, she was an assembly worker at Unimax in Wallingford. She was a communicant of the Most Holy Trinity Church, Wallingford.

She is survived by a son, Edward Zecca of Wallingford; and a daughter, Mary Ellen Gingras of Middletown; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, John Zecca and Angelo Zecca Jr.; and a granddaughter, Gail Zecca.

The funeral will leave the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St., Wallingford on Monday at 10:45 a.m. for a Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. at the Most Holy Trinity Church, 84 North Colony Road, Wallingford. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery, Wallingford. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

Wellington H. Massey

ELMA, Washington -- Wellington Hugh "Bill" Massey, 74, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002 after a brief illness.

He was born Nov. 15, 1927, and was a lifelong resident of Washington State.

Surviving are his children, Jacqueline Massey-Biafore and son-in-law, Anthony Biafore Jr. of Meriden, Christine Massey-Beerbower and family, James W. Massey, Kathleen Daniels and family, Patricia Sullivan and family and Sharon Whitby and family, a sister, Rose Massey-Rhodes and family, all of Washington State; and a granddaughter, Billie Jo Westfort and family of Meriden. Services were held in Washington State.

Fern Parent

SOUTHINGTON -- Fern (Cormier) Parent, 57, of 160 Sun Valley Drive, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, at the Masonic Health Care Center in Wallingford. She was the wife of Philip N. Parent.

Born in VanBuren, Maine, on Nov. 29, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Leona (Chasse) Cormier. She had been employed by Quality Components of Plainville. She was also a parishioner of St. Thomas Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Corey Parent and Kevin Parent and his wife, Lisa and their son, Tyler, all of Southington; brothers, Leon Cormier, Roger Cormier, Aurele Cormier and Francis Cormier, all of Southington; sisters, Aurora Saucier of E. Hartford, Jean Dumond and Rachel Aldieri, both of Southington; along with several nieces and nephews and close friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002, at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St., in Southington. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. are in charge of arrangements.

Helen T. Sargalski

MERIDEN -- Helen T. Sargalski, 95, wife of the late Edward Sargalski, died on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, at the Miller Memorial Community after a lengthy illness.

Born in Meriden on June 19, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Theresa (Schmelter) Petroske. She had resided in Meriden all of her life, and had graduated from St. Mary Parochial School and the Pequod Business College. She was parishioner of St. Mary Church, and was a member of the St. Elizabeth Society at St. Mary Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Sargalski of Meriden; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Stephen and Marianne Sargalski of Meriden and Thomas Sargalski of Maspeth, N.Y.; three grandchildren and their spouses, Glorianne Rusate and her husband Michael, Dianne Sargalski Acevedo and her husband, Ruben, Jeffrey Sargalski and his wife, Francine; five great-grandchildren, Christina and Lisamarie Rusate, Jennifer Holmes, Timothy and Andrew Sargalski; and one brother, Charles Petroske, all of Meriden. She was predeceased by one son, Richard Sargalski; three brothers, John, Joseph and Frank Petroske; two sisters, Anna Petroske, Martha Petroske O'Brien; and a nephews, Edward O'Brien.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 9:15 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., and at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Mary Church, 5 Sherman Place, Meriden, CT 06451.
