Frederick J. Robitaille
ROCKLEDGE, Fla. — Frederick J. Robitaille, 80, of 1718 Jordan Drive, Rockledge, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, at Wuesthoff Memorial Hospital, Rockledge. He was the husband of Florence Robitaille.
Mr. Robitaille was born in Fall River, Mass., Aug. 5, 1918. He lived in Florida since 1978 coming from Wallingford, Conn. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a retired machine shop foreman for Burndy Corporation of Norwalk from where he retired after 30 years of employment. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockledge.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jane Robitaille of Ridgefield, Conn., Carol Bietsch of Vancouver, Wash.; and a brother, Leo Robitaille of Fall River, Mass.
A memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church Wednesday at 11 a.m. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4356 B Fortune Place, West Melbourne, FL 32904.

Beverly A. Totz
WALLINGFORD — Beverly Ann Totz Leazer, 56, of Kosse, Texas , formerly of Wallingford, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, at Texas Medical Center in Houston. She was the wife of Harley Dean Leazer.
Beverly was born in Meriden, Oct. 9, 1942, a daughter of Agnes A. Fanning Totz of Moodus, formerly of Wallingford, and the late Joseph F. Totz, and had been a Wallingford resident for many years until moving to Texas 15 years ago. A graphic artist, she had been employed at Yale University for many years, and later at Rice University in Houston until her retirement last year. She was a member of the Lions Club in Kosse.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her son, Edward D. Kuchinski of Crosby, Texas ; her sister and brother-in-law, Eileen T. and William B. Hodge of Moodus; a niece, Lori A. Woodworth of East Haddam; a grandnephew, a grandniece; three stepdaughters, Laurinda Turner, Deena Logan and Tricia Beaver; and nine grandchildren, all of Texas ; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext., Wallingford, Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Wallingford Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Wallingford. Gifts in her memory may be sent to the Hospice of Texas Medical Center, 1905 Holcomb Blvd., Houston, TX 77030.

Luke J. Crebase
MERIDEN — Luke Joseph Crebase, husband of Phyllis Tricarico Crebase of 87 Park Ave., died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998, at the Westfield Care and Rehab Center. He was 98 years old.
He was born in Meriden, Aug. 24, 1900, a son of the late Phillip and Rose Crebase. He was a machine operator for 40 years at International Silver Co. and 10 years at New Departure, Bristol, and was a former member of the Eagles Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and a son, Joan and Harry Bolden of Meriden, Angie and Ronald Downes of Middlefield and Charles and Shirley Fiderio of Middletown; and a sister, Nikki Young of Meriden. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers, Frank, Richard and John Crebase; and four sisters, Angie Fox, Mamie Potter, Nellie Hayes and Carmel Goda.
The funeral will be held on Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, at 11 a.m. at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Interment at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society, 127 Washington Ave., North Haven, CT 06473 or St. Andrew Episcopal Church, 20 Catlin St., Meriden, CT 06450.

Isabel Cruz
WALLINGFORD — Isabel Ayala Cruz, 80, of 332 S. Cherry St., Wallingford, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998, at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Francisco Cruz.
Mrs. Cruz was born in Puerto Rico on July 22, 1918, and was the daughter of the late Jose and Angelica Narvaez Ayala. A resident of Wallingford since 1952, she was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church of Wallingford.
She leaves daughters, Elba Beach of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Sol Angelica Cruz Ruiz and Miriam Cruz Perez, both of Wallingford; son-in-laws, Joel Beach III, Cesar Ruiz and Miguel Perez. She is also survived by three brothers, four sisters, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends and relatives may call Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., North Haven. Funeral services and interment will be in Puerto Rico.

Benjamin Folk
MERIDEN — Benjamin Folk, 90, formerly of Hillcrest Avenue, Meriden, the widower of the late Helen (Klobushinsky) Folk, died Tuesday at Coccomo Memorial Home in Meriden.
Born in Scranton, Pa., he was employed by Sears in Elmira, N.Y., for 27 years until his retirement.
Predeceased by a son, Dr. Joseph Folk, who practiced at the Grove Hill Clinic, he is survived by a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Folk Schwartz of Basking Ridge, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Holly Folk of Bloomington, Ind. and David Folk of Cambridge, Mass.; and a great-granddaughter, Canaan.
A prayer service will be held Monday at noon at Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway in Kensington. Burial will follow in Old South Burying Ground in Kensington. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to Temple B'Nai Israel, 265 W. Main St., New Britain, CT 06052.

Sonia Sierra
WALLINGFORD — Sonia Sierra, 88, of Wallingford, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of the late Jose Arocho.
Born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Jennaro and Juanita Miranda Sierra and was a Wallingford resident for several years. She was a member of the Third Alpha and Omega Church in Wallingford.
She is survived by a daughter, Olga Alvelo of Wallingford; a son, Hector Arocho of Puerto Rico; nine grandchildren; a sister, Ninive Rodrigues of Puerto Rico; and several nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Wallingford, Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.

Harry J. Adams
WALLINGFORD — Harry J. Adams Jr., 63, of Sunny Acres, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, at his home. He was the husband of Judy Fuhr Adams.
Mr. Adams was born in Meriden, Dec. 25, 1934, a son of the late Harry J. Adams Sr. and Ann Shogan Adams. He had been a lifelong resident of Meriden and Wallingford. He had been employed as an extruder operator at Specialty Cable Corp. in Wallingford for many years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a three daughters, including Suzanne L. Adams of Wallingford; a son; his sister and brother-in-law, Sally A. and Joseph W. Nadwairski; a brother and sister-in-law, John H. and Joyce B. Adams, all of Killingworth; two grandsons, Tyler Yasensky and Hunter Yasensky; and several nieces and nephews.
His family will receive relatives and friends at the Yalesville Funeral Home, 386 Main St., Yalesville section of Wallingford, Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m., when the Rev. Mark Jette, pastor of St. Joseph Church in Meriden, will officiate at a funeral service in the funeral home. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Meriden.

Philip H. Williams
WALLINGFORD — Philip H. Williams, 67, husband of Mabel Curtis Williams, of 4 Welcome St., died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998.
He was born in Fort Fairfield, Maine on Aug. 20, 1931, a son of the late Thomas A. and Ella Dee Williams. Moving to Connecticut in the 1950's from Patten, Maine, he had been a Wallingford resident since 1960. A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Army. He was a Jehovah Witness with the Kingdom Hall in Yalesville and a member of the Wallingford Senior Citizens.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five sons, Kenneth Curtis of Pittsford, Vt., Joseph Curtis of Johnson, Vt., Frank McLeod of Wallingford, Philip T. Williams of Meriden, Stephen W. Williams of Wallingford; a daughter, Rhonda Upton of Wallingford; two sisters, Madeline Glidden and Marion Mulligan, both of Patten, Maine; 21 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Wallace Williams and a sister, Margaret Cole.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 29, at 4 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1 Cottage St., Yalesville. Burial will be at Patten Cemetery, Patten, Maine. There are no calling hours. If friends so desire, gifts in his memory may be sent to the Jehovah's Witnesses of Wallingford, 1 Cottage St., Yalesville, 06492. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St., Wallingford, is in charge of the arrangements.

Dorothy Cope
MERIDEN — Dorothy Ryan Cope, 97, of 320 Colony St., died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, at the Bradley Home Infirmary.
She was the wife of the late Dudley Cope.
She was born in Meriden, March 14, 1901, a daughter of the late Robert and Susan Jepson Ryan.
She lived in the Westfield section of Middletown for many years before moving to Meriden.
She had worked as a cashier at the Yankee Silversmith in Wallingford.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Meriden.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Daigle of Meriden; a sister-in-law, Mary C. Cope of Middletown; and a nephew, David Logan of Great Barrington, Mass.
A funeral service will be held Monday, Nov. 30, at 11 a.m. at the Beecher & Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
The Rev. Randy Somody will officiate.
Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Contributions may be made to the Bradley Home, 320 Colony St., Meriden, CT 06450.

Margaret Loomis
WALLINGFORD — Margaret Brown Loomis, 81, lifelong resident of Yalesville, died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, at Skyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wallingford. She was the wife of the late George N. Loomis, who died in 1996.
Mrs. Loomis was born Aug. 29, 1917, in Branford, to the late William E. and Anna L. Brown. She attended Yalesville Grammar School and graduated from Lyman Hall High School in 1935. She was a member of the Yalesville United Methodist Church, where for many years she was active in church organizations.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Elizabeth L. and Larry Norfolk of Mansfield Center, and Jane L. Solak of Haddam Neck; two grandchildren, Matthew L. Solak and Elizabeth M. Solak, both of Haddam Neck; two brothers, William E. Brown Jr. of Meriden and James A. Brown of Cheshire; four sisters, Marian B. Trinkaus of Deep River, Ruth B. Warren of Windsor, Vt., Elizabeth B. Schaut of Bristol and Joyce B. Leslie of Port Angeles, Wash.; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Robert, Franklyn and Charles Brown, and a sister, Grace Brown Skinner.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1998, at 2 p.m. at the Yalesville United Methodist Church, 8 New Place St., Yalesville. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions ion Mrs. Loomis' memory to the Connecticut Audubon Society, 1361 Main St., Glastonbury, CT 06033. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave. Meriden.
