Ercolina Maule
BRISTOL - Ercolina "Erkie" (Togni) Maule, of Norwood Road, Bristol, widow of Giusto "John" Maule, died Thursday, April 1, 1999, at John Dempsey Hospital, Farmington. Mrs. Maule was born in Hartford and was a daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret (Simonelli) Togni. She graduated from Simsbury High School and resided in Bristol for most of her life. She worker on the senior staff at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington and was a member of St. Anthony Church, Bristol.
Mrs. Maule is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Denise Maule of Southington; two daughters and a son-in-law, Doris and Nicholas DeFelice of Southington, and Susan Paradis, and Dan Ahern of Plainville; three sisters, Ada Groppo of Simsbury, Alba Tremaglio of Middlebury, and Irma Tonon of Forestville; two grandchildren, Jay and Kristy Maule of Southington; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 5, 1999, at 9 a.m. from the Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Northwest Village School of the Wheeler Clinic, 91 Northwest Drive, Plainville, CT 06062.

Daniel P. Petrucelli
NAUGATUCK - Daniel P. Petrucelli, 70, of Naugatuck, died Tuesday at Waterbury hospital after a long illness. He was husband of Barbara (Graf) Petrucelli.
Mr. Petrucelli was born in Meriden, on Dec. 22, 1928, son of the late Rocco and Josephine (Izzo) Petrucelli. He was a resident of Naugatuck for over 20 years, and had lived most of his life in Meriden. He had attended Meriden High School. He was retired from the State of Connecticut from Southbury Training School, where he was a chef for 15 years. He was owner of Dan's Catering and most recently, he was the in house chef at the VFW in Naugatuck. He also earned certificates from the State of Connecticut to train Culinary School graduates. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Naugatuck.
Besides his wife he leaves, one stepson, Richard Rigby of Seymour; two sisters, Yolanda Timek and Lucy Wustrack both of Meriden; and many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 6, 1999, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 338 North Main St., Naugatuck. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Meriden. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fitzgerald-Mengacci Funeral Home, 240 N. Main St., Naugatuck. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492-1822, or the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Boulevard, Suite1010, Rockville, MD 20852.

Catherine D. Rebelo
MERIDEN - Catherine D. Rebelo, 89, formerly of 525 Center St., wife of the late August Rebelo, died on Thursday, April 1, 1999, at the Bradley Home in Meriden. Born in Meriden on April 21, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Emilio and Amelia D'Agostino and had lived in Meriden all her life. She attended local schools and had been employed by International Silver Co., Eyelet Specialty Division, for many years.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Norm St. Arnauld of Southington; three grandchildren, Eric and his wife, Jennifer, and Jamie and Adam St. Arnauld; two sisters, Jeanette Farrar of Meriden, and Claire D'Agostino of Terryville; one brother, Alphonse D'Agostino of Meriden and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rebelo was predeceased by a sister, Nellie Naimoli, and four brothers, Pasquale, Samuel, Angelo and Leonard D'Agostino.
The funeral will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., and at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International, 2572 Whitney Ave., Hamden, CT 06518.

Aldo A. Scoffone
MERIDEN - Aldo A. Scoffone, 82, 21 Howard Ave., husband of the late Laurange (St. Pierre) Scoffone, died on Wednesday, March 31, 1999. At Westfield Care and Rehab. Center. Born in Meriden, on Oct. 2, 1916, he was the son of the late Angelo and Prima Scoffone. He was a lifelong resident of Meriden and was educated in local schools. Mr. Scoffone was employed by New Departure, Hyatt-Bearing Division of General Motors. He then learned the trade of brick laying at H. Wales Lyons Co., in Meriden and worker as a mason in Brick Layers & Plasterers International Union for many years. In the 1960's he formed Meriden Masonry with his former partner Joseph Algieres and together they constructed many residential and commercial buildings in Meriden and throughout Connecticut. He was particularly noted for his fine work and professionalism. He retired 20 years ago from the B.M.P.I.U. Mr. Scoffone was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Army with the rank of staff sergeant had had previously participated in the C.C. camps until entering the service. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, a former member of the North Italian Home Club, the Unison Club and the Bocci Club.
Mr. Scoffone is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Aldo F. and Carol Scoffone, Donald A. Scoffone, and Romaine and Barbara Scoffone all of Meriden; and five grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by a brother, Carl Scoffone and two sisters, Mary Cuccaro and Norine Fontanella.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., and at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church. Burial with military honors will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday (TODAY) from 4 to 8 p.m.

Manuel G. Aguiar Sr.
MERIDEN - Manuel G. Aguiar Sr., of 66 Idle Lane, Meriden, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1999, at Hartford Hospital. He was the husband of the late Caroline (Barboza) Aguiar. Born in Newport, R.I., Jan. 8, 1917. He was the son of he late Joseph and Rosalie (Silvia) Aguiar. He resided in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for 43 years and in Connecticut for the past 39 years. He had been employed by the railroad for 43 years, and retired from Amtrak in 1977. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace workers, LL 1112. In his youth, he was an amateur boxer, and he was an avid gardener and fisherman. He was also a parishioner of St, Mary's Church, Meriden.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Manuel and Poson Aguiar of Washington , Raymond and Linda Aguiar of Meriden (with whom he resided); and two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Carmine Coppola of Rhode Island, and Elizabeth and Fred Richardson of Meriden.
He was predeceased by two daughters, Marjorie King and Alyce Samperi. He is survived by a brother; Jack Aguiar; and five sisters, Florence Goddard, Laura Jamieson, Josephine Turner, Francis Ducharme and Mae Brown. He was predeceased by three brothers, John, Morris, and Anthony Aguiar, and two sisters; Rose Labrie and Rosalie Costello.
Mr. Aguiar is survived by 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was a kind, loving man who will be missed by all. Funeral services were held on Friday, Feb. 19,1999, at Lima's Funeral Home, in Bristol, R.I. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, and interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bristol, R.I. The pallbearers were; Raymond. Joseph, and Anthony Aguiar and Fred, Mark, Matthew and David Richardson, all grandsons.

Helen Biondi
SOUTHINGTON - Helen Clark Biondi, 80, of 113 Pin Oak Drive, Southington, and formerly of Cummings Drive, Orange, died Feb. 22, 1999, in the Cheshire Convalescent Center after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Benedict Biondi, M.D. Mrs. Biondi was born in New Haven, Aug. 6, 1918, daughter of the late John and Clare Donahue Clark. She graduated from the Hospital of St. Raphael School of Nursing in 1939, where she met Dr. Biondi while serving his residency. She was a Registered Nurse and a former member of the Auxiliary of the Hospital of St. Raphael, the New Haven Council of Catholic Women, the Hamden Women's Club, the General Federation of Women's Clubs of Connecticut and the Hospital of St. Raphael Alumnae Association. She was a long time parishioner of the Church of the Holy Infant in Orange, and a member of the Catholic Women's Guild.
Mrs. Biondi is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law; Donald D. and Ellen (Reilly) Biondi of Southington, and Benedict R. Biondi of St. Peter's MO., four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral from Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave, Hamden, Thursday, Feb.25th,1999, at 9:15a.m. Mass of Christian burial in the Church of the Holy Infant in Orange, at 10a.m. Friends may call Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
Memorial contributions may be made to J.D.F. 2572 Whitney Ave., Hamden, CT 06518.

Delores S. Bleau
SOUTHINGTON - Delores S. Bleau, 78, formerly of 275 Sun Valley Dr., died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at Southington Care Center. She was the widow of Victor W. Bleau. Born on Jan. 10. 1921 in Waterbury the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Erdon(I) Keefe. Prior to her retirement Mrs. Bleau was a Real Estate and Travel Agent. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, a past member of the Church Women Untied and the Southington Women's Club.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law; Jerry D. and Vivian Bleau of Plantsville and a daughter, Laurie Bleau Lada of Southington; three grandchildren, Christopher D. Bleau and his wife Lisa, Alex Lada and Shawn Lada.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., to St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Paul's Church Memorial Fund, 145 Main St., Southington, CT 06489.

Beryl W. Hyde
MADISON - Beryl W. Hyde, 84, of 2 Downing Way, Madison, died Feb. 20, 1999, at Watrous Nursing Center, Madison. She was the wife of Stanley Hyde.
Mrs. Hyde was born April 20, 1914, daughter of the late Andrew and Agnes Hart Weisner in Meriden. She was a registered nurse at Hartford Hospital, retiring in 1937. Mrs. Hyde was a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, the Garden Club of Madison, the Shoreline Gardener's Club, the Untied Methodist Women of Clinton, and the Madison Winter Club. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons; Richard Hyde of Dallas, Robert Hyde of Phoenix, and a daughter; Virginia Hyde of Freemont, Calif.; three grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter, and a brother; A. Clayton Weisner of Fort Pierce, Fla. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
A memorial service will be held at the United Methodist Church, 12 Commerce St., Clinton, March 12, 1999, at 11 a.m.
Gifts in her memory may be made to the church. The Hawley Lincoln Memorial, 1315 Boston Post Road, Guilford, is in charge of arrangements.

Julia M. Karsmarski
MERIDEN - Julia M. Karsmarski, formerly of Paddock Avenue, Meriden, wife of the late Joseph Karsmarski died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999, at the Meriden Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Aug. 29, 1909, in Meriden, and was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Lisak) Topor. Mrs. Karsmarski was a life long resident of Meriden, she attended St. Stanislaus School and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. She was employed by the International Silver Co., the former World War II Veterans Memorial Hospital and retired from the Meriden board of education, where she worked in the cafeteria of Thomas Hooker School. She was a member of the St. Stanislaus Ladies Guild, Senior Sunshine Club and the St. Theresa Society.
She leaves a daughter and son-in-law; Judy and Richard Pareti of Meriden, and a son; David Karsmarski of Middletown, three daughters; Anne Pareti, Julie Karsmarski and Carie McSherry, a sister; Helen Custy of Meriden, and a sister-in-law; Isabelle Karsmarski of Meriden, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers; Rev. William Topor former Pastor of St. Stanislaus Church and Stanley Topor and two sisters; Anna Billings and Sophie Topor.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday (TODAY) at 11:30 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church for a mass of Christian burial. She will be interred with her husband in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Stempien Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, Tuesday (TODAY) from 10 to 11 a.m. The family requests donation be made to the St. Stanislaus School Fund, 82 Akron St., Meriden, CT 06450.

Margaret E. Lord
MIDDLETOWN - Margaret E. (Trevethan) Lord, 95, formerly of Newfield St., Middletown, wife of the late Delis B. Lord, died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at Middlesex Convalescent Center. Born in Pennsylvania , she was the daughter of the late James and Amelia (Aumick) Trevethan.
Mrs. Lord had lived in Middletown most of her life and was a member of he first Untied Methodist Church, Meriden.
She is survived by one son and his wife, Charles J. and Lorraine Lord of Edgewater, Fla., one daughter; Barbara E. Ness of Meriden, two sisters; Bertha Russell of Berlin and Beatrice Sandstrom of Cromwell; five grandchildren, Linda Ness, David Ness, Gary Ness, Melany Johnson, and Cindy Shine.
Funeral services will be held at the Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church St., Middletown, Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Eric Henderson will officiate and interment will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
Friends may call at the Doolittle Funeral Home, Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 10 to 11 a.m.
