Jean Veronneau

March 26, 1919 - April 5, 2011

Southington - Jean Veronneau, passed away Tuesday April 5th, 2011 at the age of 92.

She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Veronneau for 67 years.

Jean was born March 26, 1919 in New Britain to the late Stanley and Stefania Kostus.

Throughout much of her life she enjoyed traveling with her late husband, family and friends both in the United States and abroad.

She also spent many years in retirement with her husband vacationing during the winter in Florida.

They enjoyed spending time with their many friends and family members.

Jean was predeceased by her beloved parents Stanley and Stefania Kostus; sister Ceil Neun; brother Delvyn Case Sr., daughter Judith St. Hilaire and grandson Marc St. Hilaire.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Kosienski of East Haddam, sister, Helen Bochnik of Meriden, Brother, Chester Kostus of Southington, Grandchildren Kevin Kosienski of Southington, Brian Kosienski of Durham, Jill St. Hilaire-Harvan of Jupiter, Fl.. great grandchildren, Erica, Carlyn, Ryan, Julia, Rachel and Jacob Kosienski.

The Funeral will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 130 Summer St.

Burial will be at St. Boniface Cemetery in Meriden.

Calling hours will be on Friday morning from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington.

Carol Ann Dragon

May 17, 1947 - September 15, 2010

Southington - Carol Ann Dragon, 63, of Meriden Waterbury Turnpike, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010 at home.

She was the wife of Alan Dragon.

She was born May 17, 1947 in Northampton, England daughter of Joan Jones of England and the late Ronald Jones.

Besides her husband and mother she is survived by 2 sons, Nigel Dragon and his wife Tammy of Prospect, Paul Dragon and his wife Tamar of Orlando, FL, 2 brothers, David Jones and Robert Jones, 2 sisters, Wendy Doyle and Pamela Wells all of England, 3 grandchildren, Brooke, Tyler and Paige.

The Funeral and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.

DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. is in charge of arrangements.
