Loving father of John, Anna Irene, and Dimitrios Antonakis all of Branford. Son of John Antonakis of Greece, and the late Irene Antonakis. Brother of Kostas (Irene) Antonakis of Astoria, Queens, NY, and Anthony (Anna) Antonakis of Branford. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was born April 6, 1947 in Mesta, Chios, Greece. He came to the U. S. in 1971 and for the past 20 years he was the store room manager at the Omni-New Haven Hotel.
A funeral service will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 in St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, Orange, with burial to follow in Center Cemetery, Branford. Friends may call Friday from 5 - 8 pm at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Branford. Trisagion service at 7:00 pm.

Debra Ann Bronson Archangelo

Mother of Thomas Piscitello of Branford, Raphael and Joseph Archangelo of Wallingford. Daughter of Alma Dinan Bronson of Plainville and the late George T. Bronson. Sister of Vicky Ahern of Berlin, Charles Bronson and Catherine Shulick of East Haven, Laurie Bronson of New Haven and Anna May Michard of Buffalo, NY. Fiance of Kenny Sorber of Branford. She was pre-deceased by brothers James and Andrew Bronson.
She was born in New Haven January 20, 1954 and was a lifelong resident of Branford.
Friends are invited to attend calling hours Sunday from 5 - 8 pm at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Branford. Funeral and burial at the convenience of the family.

In New Haven February 14, 2004, Michael J. Ardolino of 451 North High St., East Haven, formerly of Branford.
He was the father and father-in-law of Dani Ardolino of Branford and Jan and James Nelmes of Guilford, and he was pre-deceased by seven brothers and two sisters.
Mr. Ardolino was born in New Haven May 13, 1910, son of the late John and Gelsomina Ardolino, and he was a World War II veteran of the U. S. Army. He was the owner-operator of The Phoenix restaurant in Branford for many years, and he was a member of the Branford Elks Club and was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Funeral from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Branford Tuesday morning at 9:30 with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 10:00. Burial in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 5 - 8 PM.

Elizabeth Morse Austin

In New Haven September 13, 2000 Elizabeth Morse "Mabel" Austin, formerly of Bradley Avenue in Branford. Mother of Darlyne Gentile, Joan Perrotti, Jean, Virginia, William and Donald Austin, all of Branford. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her former husband Warren Austin, a son Charles Herman Austin, and by her brothers Whitney, Richard, Leslie and Frank Morse. Mrs. Austin was born in Guilford on January 25, 1908, a daughter of the late Charles and Minnie Coe Morse. She worked for the Seamless Rubber Co. in New Haven and was a longtime Branford resident.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00 at the Alderbrook Cemetery in Guilford. There will be no calling hours. The W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St. Branford is in care of arrangements.Memorial donations may be made to Branford Hills Health Care, 189 Alps Rd. Branford, Ct.06405 or to the charity of one's choice.

Mrs. Averill was born in Springfield, MA. on September 25, 1919, a daughter of the late John and Eunice Kennedy Cool. She was a librarian at the Blackstone Library in Branford.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 at the First Congregational Church of Branford. Burial will be in Center Cemetery in Branford. Friends may call Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St. Branford.

She was a cafeteria worker for SNET Co. in New Haven and Wallingford for many years, retiring in 1974.

Briggs of Branford and George Barker of Marshall, Texas. Mr. Barker was born in Canton, Ct. on September 28, 1917. He was a son of the late Ellwood and Annie Conway Barker. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a machinist for many years at the Atlantic Wire Co. He was a member of the Montowese Baptist Church in North Haven.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 17th at 11:00 at the Montowese Baptist Church in North Haven. The W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St. Branford is in care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Montowese Baptist Church, 201 Quinnipiac Ave., North Haven, Ct. 06473.
