Marie M. Favreau
APOPKA, Fla. Marie M. Favreau, 88, died Thursday, Nov. 12, in her home. She was the wife of the late Herbert M. Favreau.
She was born in Meriden, Conn., March 26, 1910, a daughter of the late William and Minnie Higginson Mansolf. She had belonged to the Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra M. Woronick of Apopka and Theresa B. Hill of Edgewater, Fla.; a son, William Brown of Meriden; a sister, Rose Benigni of Meriden; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was predeceased by a son, Amos Brown.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Meriden. The Rev. Gary Mueller will officiate. Burial will be at Walnut Grove. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. The Beecher & Bennett Flatow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, 262 Bee St., Meriden, CT 06450.

John H. Schaudel
MANCHESTER, N.H. John Harold "Happy" Schaudel, 88, died Nov. 10, 1998, in Manchester, N.H.
He was the widower of Anamae (Schmied) Schaudel. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Sept. 20, 1910, son of John and Catherine (Hoffman) Schaudel. He was a resident of Cheshire and Meriden, Conn., for 41 years. Since 1991 he has been residing at Mount Carmel Nursing Home, Manchester, N.H. Happy was at the Journal-Courier of New Haven for 25 years until his retirement in 1975, at which time he was supervisor of the composing room. He later worked part time as a guide for special tours conducted at the newspaper for six years. He was active in the HEP and the Adult Resource Committee of the American Lung Association and the Gaylord Respiratory Club.
He is survived by a daughter, Joyce (Schaudel) Seligman; a son, John C. Schaudel; a grandson, Lance Schaudel.
A graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Cheshire, on Nov. 17, 1998, at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.

Austin H. Palmer
MERIDEN Austin H. "Dinny" Palmer, 54, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, in MidState Medical Center, Meriden.
He was born in Meriden, Sept. 16, 1944, a son of the late Austin T. and Margaret Louise Jones Palmer.
He is survived by two sisters, Susan Palmer and Lorraine McGrath, both from Meriden.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. at the Beecher & Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Dr. Robert Prescott-Ezickson will officiate. Burial will be at the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

John Rolls
PLAINVILLE John Rolls, 42, died unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 12, 1998, at home.
He was born in Meriden on April 27, 1956, the son of Marion Jean (Hope) Delcamp and the late Thomas Eugene Rolls. He was a member of the New Convenant Church in Forestville, and was involved in Racing with Jesus Ministries. He also enjoyed drawing, racing, fishing, and most of all, music.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his stepfather, Rod Delcamp; a son, Jon-Ric Compton; a daughter, Christina Compton, both of Massachusetts; two brothers, Kenny Rolls of Mississippi and Leonard Hendricks of Meriden; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Peggy and Bob Karbonic of Newington, and Debra Gundry of Southington; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. with a service at 8 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Albertha M. Wiese
CHESHIRE Mrs. Albertha May (Brooks) Wiese, 87, a resident of Miller Memorial Home in Meriden, formerly of Cheshire, died Friday at the Bradley Memorial Hospital in Southington. She was the widow of Edward R. Wiese.
Mrs. Wiese was born in Southington, April 8, 1911, a daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Smith) Brooks, and had resided in Cheshire since 1925. She was employed as a receptionist at Consolidated Industries in Cheshire for many years as well as supported the Wiese Brothers & Son Farm in Cheshire until her retirement. She was a graduate of Southington High School and was voted beauty queen of her class. She was also a 50-year member of the First Congregational Church of Cheshire.
She leaves a son, Richard E. Wiese, and his wife, Marilou, of Cheshire; and a daughter, Rhoda M. Wiese of California.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the First Congregation Church on the green, Cheshire. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Slater Funeral Home, 242 S. Main St., Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Ruthxenia Arroyo
WINDHAM Ruthxenia Arroyo, 11, of West Avenue, Willimantic, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1998, at her home after a long illness.
She was born in Hartford, June 19, 1987, a daughter of Raymond Arroyo and Mildred Cruz.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her grandmother, Carmen Reyes of Willimantic; two sisters, Ruth and Yahaira Martinez, both of Meriden; two brothers, Cristian and Victor Martinez, both of Meriden; and two uncles.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1998, at 11 a.m. at the Beecher & Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Jose Rodriguez will officiate. Burial will be at the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Dorothy E. Horrigan
MERIDEN Dorothy E. Horrigan, 90, formerly of 581 Crown St., died Saturday at the Westfield Care and Rehab Center.
She was born in Meriden on Sept. 8, 1908, a daughter of the late James E. and Signe Forsen Horrigan. She worked for many years for the United States Health Service in New York City. She belonged to the Professional Women's Business Association in New York City.
She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Arlene Horrigan of Meriden; a sister-in-law, Barbara Horrigan of Arlington, Mass.; four nieces, Debi Horrigan of East Hartford, Cynthia Hunt of Tampa, Fla., Sharon Renzetti of East Canaan and Janet Witter of Arnold, Mass.; and a nephew, James Young of Gaithersburg, Md. She was predeceased by two sisters, Kathleen Young and Marion Ackerman; and a brother, James Horrigan.
Burial at Walnut Grove will take place at the convenience of the family. The Beecher & Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, is in charge of arrangements.

Alfred J. Audisio
WALLINGFORD Alfred J. Audisio, 88, of East Main Street, Wallingford, beloved husband of the late Anna C. Unger Audisio, died Monday, Nov. 16, 1998, at the Masonic Geriatric Healthcare Center in Wallingford.
Mr. Audisio was born in Wallingford, June 10, 1910, a son of the late Michael and Emilia Ollino Audisio, and had been a lifelong resident here. He had been proprietor of the Audisio Excavating Co. in Wallingford for more than 45 years until his retirement, and as a young man had been employed at his father's saloon at 10 Center St. in Wallingford. He was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church.
He is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann Farrell and her husband, Attorney Gerald E. Farrell Sr., and Jean A. Mantzaris and her husband, Attorney Adam Mantzaris, all of Wallingford; his son, Michael J. Audisio and his wife, Rita Audisio of Phoenix, Ariz.; his eight grandchildren, Attorney Gerald E. Farrell Jr., Attorney Ann Farrell Leslie and her husband, Attorney Brian J. Leslie, Attorney Christine Farrell Grochowski and her husband, Kurt Grochowski, Adam A. Mantzaris, Alexia Mantzaris, Nicholas E. Mantzaris, Jason R. Audisio and Michelle C. Audisio; his great-granddaughters, Erin Leslie and Michaela Leslie; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Evelyn M. Audisio, and two brothers, Louis Audisio and Eugene Audisio.
His family will receive relatives and friends at the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Wallingford, Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the Wallingford Funeral Home, when the funeral cortege will proceed to Most Holy Trinity Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Gifts in his memory may be sent to Holy Trinity School, 11 N. Whittlesey Ave., Wallingford, CT 06492, or to the charity of one's choice.

Timothy E. Granger Jr.
MIDDLETOWN Timothy E. Granger Jr., 27, of Townbrook, Middletown, formerly of Wallingford, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998, in Middletown as a result of injuries received in a motor vehicle accident.
Born in Meriden, June 18, 1971, he was a lifelong resident of Wallingford and Meriden until moving to Middletown a year ago. He was a graduate of Mark T. Sheehan High School in Wallingford and was employed as a groundskeeper at the Townbrook Apartments in Middletown.
He is survived by his mother, Gail Chasse of Wallingford; his father, Timothy E. Granger Sr. and his wife, Deborah Granger of Wallingford; three sisters, Sandra M. Granger of West Haven, Charise Artibani of Carey, N.C. and Gia Artibani of New Haven; two brothers, Jason C. Nogueira of Middletown and David Artibani of South Bend, Ind.; his maternal grandparents, Clinton and Madeline Albee of South Meriden and Philip and Barbara Chasse of Meriden; his paternal grandparents, Harold and Claire Granger and Dean and Marion Stone, all of South Meriden; his maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Peter Chasse of Ashland, Maine; two nephews; a niece; his god-daughter, Taylor Clinton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
His family will receive relatives and friends at the Yalesville Funeral Home, 386 Main St., Yalesville section of Wallingford, Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, at Holy Angels Church, 585 Main St., South Meriden, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Laurent Cemetery in South Meriden.
