Mother of Harold (Arlene) Sullivan of Branford. Grandmother of Patty Fortin and Debra Beckwith, and great-grandmother of Sarah, Rachel, and Abigail Beckwith and Michael Fortin. She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Harold Sullivan.
She was born in New Haven February 12, 1914, daughter of the late Herbert and Christine Dorman Warner. She was a former member of the West Haven Senior Citizens Center.
Funeral and burial are private.

Thomas W. Beauton

He was born August 7, 1942 in New Haven, a son of the late Gerald J. Beauton, Sr. and Anne Stanis Beauton. He served in the U. S. Army, and after being discharged, he worked as a carpenter for many years. He formerly worked for George Norton Carpentry in East Haven, and then he worked for the carpenters union. He was a member of VFW Post 1946 in Naugatuck, and American Legion Post 174 in Oxford.
He is survived by his brothers, Gerald J. Beauton, Jr. of Branford, and Robert Beauton of Killingworth, and sisters, Marilyn Whelan of Branford, and Lorraine Mann of New Haven. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral service and burial are private at the convenience of his family.

In West Haven November 3, 2007, Matthew R. Belanic, husband of the late Eleanor Huling Belanic of 41 Waverly Rd., Branford.
He is survived by his son Kenneth (Sandra) Belanic and daughter Susann (Robert) Sears, and granddaughter, Emily Sears, all of Branford; and a sister Alice (Mrs. Walter) Beletsky of Bethany.
He was born August 12, 1919 in Branford, son of the late Matthew and Ann Ifkovic Belanic, and was a lifelong resident of Branford. He graduated from the University of New Haven and served in the Army Air Corps in World War II. He was a manufacturing engineer for Sargent & Co, where he was employed for his entire working career until retiring in 1981. He was a member of the U. S. Power Squadron, the Branford Yacht Club, and was a life member of the International Management Council.
He was a life member and past chairman of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers where he received commendations and awards for outstanding performance and accomplishment in regards to manufacturing engineering.
Funeral from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Branford, Wednesday morning at 9:30 with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 10:00. Burial, with military honors, will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 - 8 PM

Father & father in law of Craig (Jill) Bender of North Branford, Clark Bender of New Haven, and Gail (Mike) Mott of North Branford. Brother of Joan Ford of Fairfield. Grandfather of Chris Bender of New York, Sean and Dave Bender of West Hartford, and Dilyn and Kyara Mott of North Branford. He was predeceased by his brother Clark Bender.
Mr. Bender was born in Bridgeport on July 27, 1927, a son of the late John & Catherine Clark Bender. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was the Food Service Director for Ct. Mutual in Hartford for many years. He also worked for Bulova Watch, Union Carbide, and Cigna. He was an avid fisherman for most of his life.
Funeral from the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St. Branford Tuesday at 9:30 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at St. Mary Church in Branford. Burial will be private. He was the father of Ellen Carey of Branford, and Edward C. (Lucy) Carey, III, of Kingwood, TX, and grandfather to Edward C. Carey, IV, and Zachary H. Carey, both of Kingwood. He was the brother of Marie Ball of Branford, Bob Carey of New Hampshire, and Carol O'Donnell of East Haven.
Mr. Carey was born in Morris Cove, April 8, 1924, son of the late Edward and Mae Doody Carey. He was a World War II veteran of the U. S. navy, and he retired from U. S. Steel in Pittsburgh as general manager.
Funeral from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Branford Saturday morning at 9:30 with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church, East Haven, at 10:00. He was born Feb. 9, 1921 in West Haven, son of the late Cosmo and Pietra Tagliolavore Carubia. He was a retired supervisor for the D. O. T., and he served in the U. S. Army, 406th Infantry Division during WW II as an anti-tank gun crewman and driver. He was a combat veteran of the Central European Theater having fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He received numerous medals and commendations. He belonged to the Branford Veterans of Foreign Wars and St. Therese Church.

He was born April 8, 1904 in Italy, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzo Casanova. He was the former owner of Mountvale Fuel Co. in Branford, and he also worked as a Tool & Dye Maker at Winchester Repeating Arms. He was a member of the Italian-American Club in Branford.

Mrs. Case was born January 27, 1917 in Boston, daughter of the late Frank and Rose Gandolfo. She served in the USMC during World War II and she was a retired school teacher in the Danbury Public School system.
