Shaun E. Wilkerson, 16, of Millsboro, died Monday, June 5, 2006.
Shaun attended Millsboro Wesleyan Church with his family. He loved basketball, baseball, fishing, cars, motorcycles and just riding. He had played basketball for the Millsboro Little League.
He is survived by his parents, Eddie and Cindy Wilkerson; his grandparents, Ethel Mae Wilkerson of Selbyville and Chester B. Justice of Laurel; a sister, Michelle Wilkerson and Chris Short of Millsboro; aunts and uncles, Donny and Billie Wilkerson of Parsonsburg, Md., David and Beth Wilkerson of Leonardtown, Md. Geraldine and Boddy Carter of Millsboro, Joyce Lynch of Laurel, Brenda and Sam Malcolmson of Seaford and Bud Justice of Md.; a niece and nephew, Tory Nicole Messick and Ryan Taylor Wilkerson; and many cousins and friends.
Services were held at Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro, with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Millsboro.
Anthony DiSabatino,

Anthony Paul DiSabatino Sr. 80, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 5, 2006, at home surrounded by his family.
He was the youngest child of Arthur and Francis (Giampetro) DiSabatino.
Anthony was a graduate of Wilmington High School and attended Dartmouth College and the University of Delaware. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific. He was an active member of St. Helena’s Catholic Church and served on the first Parish Council, chaired the Parish Building Committee, and was involved in various other activities. Anthony was also very involved in many construction projects and other activities at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. He was a member of Concord Country Club, Wilmington West Rotary Club, Knights of Columbus, and the Sigma Nu fraternity.
Anthony received great pleasure from his many years in the construction business knowing the buildings brought much joy to others. He was a vice-president of DiSabatino and Raniere Inc., president of DiSabatino and Raniere Construction Company, and vice president of DiSabatino Construction Company.
Anthony will be remembered as a caring, fun-loving family man who always had a story or joke to tell, enjoyed life, and had various interests including painting, golf, traveling, winters in Florida with friends, music, reading and singing.
Loved by his family and friends, Anthony was one of God’s best efforts.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary C. (Doyle) DiSabatino. Survivors also include his daughter Mary Anne (DiSabatino) Fink, and her husband John, of Forest Hill, Md.; and sons Anthony P. DiSabatino Jr. of Milton and Lawrence DiSabatino, and his wife Beth, of Greenville and Peter DiSabatino, and his wife Jean, of Los Angeles, Calif. He is also survived by grandchildren, Mary Alissa (Leiter) Tilley, and her husband Walter, Christopher Leiter and his wife Nicole, Patrick Leiter, Michael DiSabatino and his wife Catherine, Jeffrey DiSabatino, and Kevin DiSabatino; and great grandchildren Michael and Elizabeth Tilley, and Laurabelle and Elise Leiter. Anthony is survived by brothers and sisters Angela (DiSabatino) Raniere, Ernest DiSabatino, Joseph DiSabatino, Edith (DiSabatino) Minutella, Eleanor (DiSabatino) Lowe, and predeceased by Mary (DiSabatino) Bellefonte and Arthur DiSabatino, Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Saint Helena’s Catholic Church, Wilmington, with entombment in Cathedral cemetery . The family wishes to thank Compassionate Care Hospice for their kind assistance.

Irene E. Currinder,

Irene Elizabeth Currinder, 81, passed away June 2, 2006 at Harbor Healthcare, in Lewes.
Born in Kent County, to Medford and Clara Sapp, Irene moved to Christiana when she married her husband, John, in 1947. She was a secretary, homemaker and school volunteer, and worked at the Christiana post office. Her kindness and gentleness made her a very special person to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 2001; and a baby, Kay Arlene.
Irene will be missed by her daughter, June Currinder and her husband, Lex Robertson, of Lewes, and their children; and son, Glenn Currinder, and his wife, Deborah, of Wellsboro, Pa., and their daughter, Julianna Currinder.
Services were held at R.T. Foard & Jones Inc., Newark, with burial in Christiana Presbyterian cemetery.

William Banks,
Golden Glove champ
William Henry Charles Banks, 73, of Milford died Friday, June 2, 2006, in Green Valley Terrace Nursing Home, Millsboro.
Mr. Banks was born July 10, 1932, in Glenridge, N.J., son of the late Charles Wilfred and Coralee Una Banks.
He was educated in the New York City public schools.
Mr. Banks loved boxing while growing up, and became a Golden Glove champion, well known as “Charles Atlas.”
He worked as a machinist with King Cole, Milton, and I.G. Burton Auto, Milford. He retired from both positions.
He was a faithful member of the Mount Enon Baptist Church, Milford.
Mr. Banks was a people person and loved children.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Banks, whom he married in 1948.
He is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline J. Frazier of New York City; two sons, Gregory Banks and Charles Banks, both of New York City; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Nathaniel Johnson of Milton; a brother, James Harvey Banks of Victor, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Nicole Frazier-Coppadge and Dana Frazier, both of New York City; nine great-grandchildren, Dawnasia D. Jackson, Tyrrice A. Taylor, Imani N. Coppadge, Gregory Banks Jr., Taquan Banks, Najiyyah Banks and Christopher Banks, all of New York City, and Debrieai Banks and Ladawn Banks, both of East Orange, N.J.; an uncle, William Oliver of East Orange; four nephews and their wives, Leonard William and Jane Birdsall of New York City, Donald H. and Dessa Birdsall of White Plains, N.Y., Dr. David L. Birdsall of Santa Cruz, Calif., and the Revs. Dale Harvey and Rose Marie Banks of Laurel, Md.; two nieces, U.S. Air Force Capt. Le’Netta Una Banks of Montgomery, Ala., and Taniqwa S. Banks-Smith and her husband Jacob of New York City; two cousins, Gloria Jean Oliver and William H. Oliver, both of East Orange; and a host of family and friends.
Services were held in Mount Enon Baptist Church, 600 N. Church St., Milford.

Henry Alfred Stout,
retired carpenter
Henry Alfred Stout, 88, of Georgetown, died Sunday, June 4, 2006, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes.
Mr. Stout was born in Milton, son of the late Charles and Mary (McAllister) Stout.
He was a carpenter for Richard Lankford for 20 years, retiring in 2003. He was also employed as a carpenter for Briggs Co.
He enjoyed gardening, stock car races, children’s ball games and dining out. He was also a Jeff Gordon fan.
Mr. Stout was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Georgetown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Stout.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Violet A. Stout; three nieces, Patsy Burton and her husband Ray of Milton; Carolyn Williams and her husband Eugene of Cambridge, Md., and Barbara Mitchell of Rehoboth Beach; a stepson and his wife, Donald and Noreen West of Wilmington; and a grandchild, Ti West of Los Angeles.
Services were held in Grace United Methodist Church, Georgetown, with burial will be in the Union cemetery , Georgetown.

Ruth Morrison Maull,
Mellon Bank retiree
Ruth Morrison Maull, 87, formerly of Lewes, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 4, 2006, at her residence, Brandywine Assisted Living in Rehoboth Beach.
Ruth was born Sept. 14, 1918, the daughter of the late George Morrison and Ruth Morgan Morrison.
She was raised in Lincoln and graduated from Milford High School. Ruth married David M. Maull of Lewes June 19, 1938 and raised their family of five children on Gill’s Neck Road, which she fondly referred to as The Canal Bank. They lived there until retiring to Brandywine Assisted Living in 2001.
Ruth had a talent for writing, an accuracy with numbers, enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles and reading. She was a past member of the DeVries chapter of Business and Professional Women, former treasurer of Coolspring Presbyterian Church and retired from Mellon Bank.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, David M. Maull Sr.; her son, David M. Maull Jr.; and her daughter, Kathleen Rae Maull.
She is survived by her daughter, Suellen Maull of Rockledge, Fla., twin daughters, Sharon Emerson and her husband Penn, Karen Wagamon and her husband Walter, all of Rehoboth Beach; her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Maull of Selbyville; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Irene Elizabeth Currinder, 81, passed away Friday, June 2, 2006, at Harbor Healthcare in Lewes.

John Adam Rockle Sr.,

John Adam Rockle Sr., 63, of Harbeson, died Saturday, June 3, 2006, at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Philadelphia, Pa.
Mr. Rockle was born in Mount Arlington, N.J., son of the late John A. and Violet Starr Rockle.
He was a self-employed housemover for 10 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Navy.
Prior to moving to Delaware in 1986, he was a past member of the Hackettstown Loyal Order of the Moose. Three years ago, Mr. Rockle started an animal rescue, and among his many accomplishments, built a barn from scratch. He enjoyed joking around, riding on his tractor and his sole purpose in life, making his wife Wendy happy.
He was preceded in death by a son, Todd Rockle.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy S. Jordan Rockle, whom he married in 1984; four children, Michael Rockle of Milford, Jennifer Lynn Bell and her husband Richard of Georgetown, John Adam Rockle V of Harbeson and Matthew Aaron Rockle of Harbeson; three grandchildren, Andreya Kelley, Maile Murphy and Richard H. Bell IV; and two sisters, Clare Evans and Alma Schilling, both of Florida.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 8, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, June 7. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial cemetery , Millsboro.

Michael Lee Yeager,

Michael Lee “Hamilton” Yeager, 49, of Dover, formerly of Rehoboth Beach, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, in Christiana Hospital, Newark, surrounded by his family. He was 49.
Mr. Yeager was a graduate of George Washington High School, Denver, and attended Howard University for two years in Washington.
At the age of 12, he focused on his entrepreneurial skills with his shoeshine business in Denver. He was the owner and operator of Manolith Group Ltd. Investment Specialists in Rehoboth Beach.
From his early years, Mr. Yeager developed an adventurous spirit with a strong love and respect for nature.
He loved the shore, surffishing and spending time with his extended family of friends and his dogs.
He is survived by his friend and companion, J. Paul “Sean” Cregg of Dover; his mother, Anether Yeager of Hampton, Va.; his father, Clarence Douglas Yeager Sr. of San Bernardino, Calif.; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Julie and Joseph Tapper of Marmor, Fla., and Lora and Michael Coleman, Lorraine and Curtis Madden and Evangelist Janett Yeager, all of Denver; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Evangelist Clarence Douglas Jr. and Cheryl Yeager of Hampton and Marvin Yeager of Denver; several nieces and nephews; and an extended family of friends.
Services were held in the Pippin Funeral Home, with burial private.

Doris R. Fisher,

Doris R. Fisher, 68, of Gumboro died peacefully Friday, June 2, 2006, in Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md., surrounded by her loving family.
She was a retired supervisor for the Allen Family Foods Hatchery outside of Dagsboro.
Mrs. Fisher was an active member of the Gumboro Wesleyan Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Fisher, in 1987.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeff and Lisa Fisher, Eddie Fisher, all of Millsboro, and Jay Fisher of Gumboro; two daughters and a son-in-law, Carol Bowman of Millsboro and Ann and Mike Tait of Dagsboro; seven sisters, Ruth Foskey of Delmar, Md., Marilyn Tyndall of Pittsville, Md., Mary Morris of Snow Hill, Md., Linda Gravenor of Salisbury, Brenda Collins of Delmar, Bonnie Oliphant of Gumboro and Beverly Enos of Whitesville; three brothers, George Baker of Whitesville, Charles Baker of Laurel and Elson Baker of Pennsylvania; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and her extended church family.
Services will be at noon Wednesday in the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Thatcher Street, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will be in Bethel United Methodist cemetery , Whitesville.
