Quinn, Helen D.
Wellington J. Tolmie, 74, of Wilmington, died peacefully at his residence on Monday, November 20, 2000 surrounded by family.

Mr. Tolmie retired in 1986 from Nabisco where he had been a sales representative for 37 years. A Naval veteran of World War II, he served aboard the USS New Jersey and USS Wyman. Mr. Tolmie was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Church, where he was also a Eucharistic minister. He was predeceased by his daughter, Suzanne Woolsey in 1995, a sister, Margaret Phelan of Wilmington, and a brother, John Tolmie of Lewes.

Mr. Tolmie was a loving husband, an awesome Dad and the best Poppy. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Adeline (Citro) Tolmie; two sons, Stephen A. of Bear, and Christopher J. of Wilmington; three daughters, M. Joanne Reverdito of Wilmington, Terry M. McMahon of West Chester, and Andrea T. Reynolds of Bear; a sister, Dorothy Fahey of Hockessin; three brothers, William of Florida, and Martin A. and Joseph C., both of Wilmington; and 14 grandchildren.

Friends are invited to calling hours on Friday morning between 10 am and 12 noon at St. Elizabeth Church, Cedar and Clayton Streets, Wilmington, where Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 noon. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to either the St. Elizabeth Building Fund, 809 S. Broom St., Wilmington, DE 19805 or to Delaware Hospice, Inc., 3515 Silverside Road, Wilmington, DE 19810. Arrangements by Mealey Funeral Homes

Rea, Vincent
Vincent Rea, age 62, of Wilmington died on Tuesday, December 5 at Christiana Hospital. Born in Bronx New York, Mr. Rea moved to Wilmington in 1963 where he was the manager of a shoe store and was a retired Navy veteran as well. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Anita, a son Vincent Michael Rea of Littleton Colorado, a daughter Anita Nichols of Wilmington, 3 grandchildren; Kristopher, Alexander and Nicholas Rea of Colorado, a sister Ann Arciola of Newark, a brother Anthony Rea of Elkton MD and many nephews and nieces. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a viewing at Mealey Funeral Home, Limestone and Milltown Roads, on Friday December 8 from 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at Saint John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, on Saturday December 9 at 10am. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington.

David R. Reed

Age 65 of Newark, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001 in the Christiana Hospital. Mr. Reed was a planner in the assessment department for New Castle County. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne L. Reed; and his daughter, Jennifer A. Reed of Newark. The funeral service and interment will be private. Arrangements by: DOHERTY FUNERAL HOMES

Reilly, Olive M.
Olive M. Reilly, 77, of Wilmington, died at her residence on Thursday, March 22, 2001.

Mrs. Reilly was a telephone operator for AT&T for 20 years before her retirement in 1986. She a veteran of World War II where she served in the Women’s Army Corps. She was a lifelong member of St. Matthew’s Church, a member of the Conrad High School Class of 1941 and the Telephone Pioneers. She was predeceased by her son, Charles P. Reilly in 1992.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles F. Reilly; two sons, Michael F. of Hockessin and James S. of Wilmington; a daughter, Rose Mary Reilly-Schneider of Wilmington; a sister, Virginia Miller of Dover; six grandchildren and one great grandson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 26 at 10:00 am at St. Matthew’s Church, 901 E. Newport Pike, Woodcrest. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday evening between 6 pm and 8 pm at Mealey Funeral Home, Limestone and Milltown Roads, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Compassionate Care Hospice, 623 W. Newport Pike, Wilmington, DE 19804.

Rende Sr., Frank Arthur
Age: 66 Address: Denton, MD Died at: Greater Southeast Community Hospital, Washington, DC

Background: Mr. Rende was an avid horse trainer and driver. He belonged to the United States Trotting Association, the Cloverleaf Harness Racing Association and the Maryland Farm Bureau. Mr. Rende was a dedicated Western Maryland College Dad and his hobbies included ocean fishing and rabbit hunting. He will be remembered for the love that he had for his wife Janice and his passion for the Italian Opera.

Preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Lena Rende

Reverdito, Albert L.
Albert L. Reverdito, 73, of Stanton, died Friday, December 22, 2000 at St. Francis Hospital.

Mr. Reverdito retired in 1987 from the Marcal Paper Company where he was a salesman for 25 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as a sergeant.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Virginia (Juliano) Reverdito; three sons, Larry, Ronald, and Greg; three daughters, Carol Edwards, Virginia Ruba and Diane Reverdito; and nine beloved grandchildren, Chad, Ronnie, Vinnie, Robin, Nicholas, Brandon, Carly, Jennifer and Michael.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 26 at 10:00 am at Mealey Funeral Home, Limestone (Route 7) and Milltown Roads, Wilmington, where friends may call after 9:00 am. Interment will be at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear.

Rhein, V. Marie
V. Marie (Orr) Rhein, 73, of Newark, DE, passed away on Thursday, January 25 at Christiana Hospital surrounded by her devoted family. Mrs. Rhein was a homemaker. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years James Rhein, four daughters: Joyce Cowan of Aston, PA, Jeanne Minner of Newark, Jacqueline Rhein of Boise, ID and Janice Dewey of Townsend, two sons James Rhein of West Norriton, PA and John Rhein of Wilmington, two brothers, Jack Orr of Havertown, PA and George Orr of Danville,PA: seven grandchildren: Kimberley Rhein, Jennifer Rhein, Christopher Cowan, Collen Cowan, Michael Dewey, Desiree Dewey and Jessica Rhein and two step-grandchildren Carl Minner and Amy Twardus and numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Her sister Josephine O’Brien and five brothers Vincent Orr, Frank Orr, William Orr, Raymond Orr and Joseph Orr predeceased her. She will be especially remembered for her love of children, animals and The Philadelphia Phillies. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday January 29, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Angels R. C. Richards, Kenneth
Age: 64 Address: Greenwood, DE Died at: Home

Background: Mr. Richards spent most of his life with harness racing and training and driving horses. He was a member of the DSOA (Delaware Standardbred Owners Assoc.). When he was not training his horses, his favorite hobby was fishing.

Ridgeway, David Wade
David W. Ridgeway, 43, Pearson Corner Road, DOVER, passed away Tuesday January 23, 2001 at HIS HOME with family and friends.

He was born on May 15, 1957 in Dover, DE to Earl and Annaetta Ridgeway.

David attended Dover High School. His first job was at Capital Cleaners where he was employed for 9 years. At the time of his death he had 16 years of service with General Metalcraft in Dover. He is preceded in death by a sister Robin Ridgeway and a brother Mark Ridgeway.

He is survived by Father, Earl Ridgeway of DOVER, DE. MOTHER, Annaetta Ridgeway of DOVER, DE. BROTHER and his wife, Garry and Gail Ridgeway of DOVER, DE. Ridgway, Wallace A.
Wallace "Wally" "Rich" A. Ridgway, 57, Robert Street, Dover, passed away Tuesday March 27, 2001 at his home in Dover with family and friends.

He was born on April 12, 1943 in Riverside, NJ to Wallace and Helen (Winkelspecht) Ridgway, Sr.

He was a Truck driver for many years. Mr. Ridgway drove for Harvy Raymond. He is a USAF Vetrean. Member of the DEL VETS of Dover. He enjoyed playing darts.

He is survived by his Wife, Linda L. Ridgway of Dover, DE. Brother and his wife, William and Barbara Faulkner of Burlington, NJ. Sister and her husband, Joyce and John Williams of Delran, NJ. Sister and her husband, Doris and David Ahrens of Delran, NJ. , 10 Nieces & Nephews, 7 Great Neices & Nephews , nemerous Aunts, Uncles & Cousins .
