Thomas Evan Tenney

Age 29, went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2008.

Tom loved playing with his kids, going to Dustin's baseball games, and spending time with his many friends. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Phillies, Eagles, and Raiders teams.

He will be dearly missed by his beloved sons, Dustin Michael and Evan Tyler Tenney; wife, Nicole; father, Thomas; mother, Fran; sister, Tiffany; brother-in-law, Giles; and nephew, Wyatt.

Family and friends are invites to attend services for Tom at Faith Baptist Church, 4210 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE on Tuesday morning, December 30, at 11 am. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Monday evening from 6-8 pm, and again on Tuesday morning from 10-11 am.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tenney Children Education Fund, c/o WSFS Pike Creek Center, 4730 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808.

Francis P. "Fran" Trincia, Sr.

Age 70, of Wilmington, DE, went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2008, surrounded by his loving children.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Dad was a man of many hats, a multi-faceted gem and a mentor to many. He was a pillar to his family, and the neighborhood handyman. As a young man, Fran worked for Earls Dairy, his fathers/family business.He continued in the dairy business for 30 years working for Abbotts Dairy while operating an ice cream business (Mr. Softee & Earls Dairy Freeze) with his brother Larry. Fran worked for Berry Refrigeration in Newark, DE before starting T&G Refrigeration.

Fran is survived by his 4 children, son, Francis, Jr. and Tonianne; daughter, Kathy Ann Julian and Paul; son, Joseph and Debra; daughter, Lisa Trincia and fiance Frank Harrison Jr; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer, Francis P. III, Matthew, Angela, Joseph Jr, Francis J. III, and Thomas; 4 great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Erick, Gabriella and Alex; brothers, Lawrence Sr., Earl Jr. and Richard Sr.; sisters; Joanna Janowski, Jacquelyn Zieber and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Katherine Trincia; father, Earl Sr., mother, Jennie (Martone), brothers, John and Louis, sisters, Pat and Lucy.

Relative and friends are invited to Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 30, at 10:30 am, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Maryland Avenue. Calling hours for Mr. Trincia are Monday evening from 5-8 pm, at the Corleto-Latina Funeral Home, 808 North Union Street Wilmington, DE. Entombment will follow mass in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Francis' name.

CORLETO-LATINA FUNERAL HOME

Rita A. Bucci

Age 88 of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2009.

Rita was born in Wilmington on May 6, 1920, daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Lucia) Morole. She was a loving and consummate homemaker, finding joy in gardening and tending to her house plants. She was also an avid and longtime bowler. Possessing a strong and devout faith, Rita was a longtime and active member of St. Elizabeth RC Church in Wilmington, finding fulfillment in lending her support through various activities, including cleaning, maintaining the church candles, and assisting her husband, Albert, in his contributions to the parish St. Vincent de Paul Society. She also enjoyed membership with the Mary C. Dennison Girls Club of Wilmington. Kind, generous, and compassionate, Rita was an ideal neighbor, often acting as a "neighborhood mother" to the many children for which she held such affection. Rita was, above all things, endlessly devoted to her family, deeply adoring her loved ones and treasuring time spent in their company.

Mrs. Bucci is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Albert J. Bucci; sons, Lawrence and his wife Judith, Albert Jr., and William and his wife Lisa; brother, Peter Morole; grandchildren, Kristin, Philip and his wife Laura, Albert III and his wife Emily, Rebecca, Chad, and Curtis; great-grandchildren, Alexa, Emma, and Nathan; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Paul, Augustine, and Lawrence Morole; and sister, Rose Landurant.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth RC Church, Cedar and Clayton Sts. in Wilmington, on Saturday morning, January 24 at 11:45am. Entombment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday morning, prior to mass, from 10-11:30am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o St. Elizabeth Church, 809 S. Broom St., Wilmington, DE 19805.

CHARLES P. ARCARO FUNERAL HOME

Constance Clevenger Berg

Constance Clevenger Berg, "Connie", died peacefully on Saturday January 26, 2009 in the room where she had slept for the last 40 years.

Connie was born on January 3, 1926 in Connersville, Indiana the daughter of Kenneth Lionel Clevenger and Dorothy Green Clevenger. She grew up in Stamford Connecticut where she attended the Low-Haywood School, and moved with her family to Maryland's Eastern Shore in 1940. She attended St. Anne's School in Charlottesville, Virginia and graduated from Sweet Briar College in Sweet Briar, Virginia. In 1949 she married F. Christian Berg, Jr. of Georgetown, MD where they lived for the next 59 years until his death in October 2008. Connie was concerned with her community, especially land use issues in Kent County. In the 1970s she served on the board of the Maryland Society for Autistic Children. In addition, she was very involved with Shrewsbury Episcopal Church. She enjoyed her participation in The Cadwalader of Kent Chapter of Questers, serving as president from 2000-2002. A life long bridge player she will be much missed by her Friday "lunch bunch".

Her brother Robert E. Clevenger of Houston, TX predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter, Christina Berg Sailer, and 4 sons, F. Christian Berg III, Kenneth Clevenger Berg, Dennis Palmer Berg II, and Hans Peter Berg; and 5 grandchildren, Christopher Aldrich Sailer Jr., Samuel Crozer Sailer, Christian Frederick Berg, Stefan James Berg and Kelsey Elizabeth Berg; and long time family care giver and friend, Margaret Ann Woodall. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews her favorite no doubt being Constance Lee Clevenger.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 2pm at Shrewsbury Episcopal Church in Kennedyville, MD, with a reception to follow at the Kitty Knight House in Georgetown. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Eastern Shore Land Conservancy, P.O. Box 169, Queenstown, MD. 21658 or Shrewsbury Episcopal Church P.O. Box 187, Kennedyville, MD. 21645.

Alice G. Burzon

NCCo Planner and Noted Artist

Mrs. Alice G. Burzon, age 70, a 42-year resident of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 29, 2009, after a long struggle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Born in South Sterling, PA on July 30, 1938, Alice was the daughter of the late P. Bennett Gilpin and Marion Schelbert Gilpin. She was interested in learning throughout her life and attended Penn State University, Temple University, and the University of Scranton. While at Penn State, she was a member of the Kappa Chapter of Sigma Tau National Engineering Honors Fraternity.

In the late 1960s, she was employed as a planner with New Castle County and was instrumental in developing the County Comprehensive Urban Plan. She was a member of Newark United Methodist Church. An award-winning artist, Alice produced beautiful works in oil, water color, and charcoal. She also used her talents to illustrate architectural text books and to design technical illustrations for Penn State and the University of Delaware. In her leisure hours and before more severe illness set in, she enjoyed spending time at her cottage on the Chesapeake Bay and watching the sunsets over the water. Alice's greatest passion, however, was caring for her beloved family, especially her daughters, Julie and Amy. She will long be remembered as a devoted wife and loving mother.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, James J. Burzon; two daughters, Julia K. Burzon and husband, Daniel Smith, of Crofton, MD; and Amy Richardson and husband, Samuel, of Elkton, MD; brother, Paul Gilpin and wife, Susan, of Elverson, PA; sister-in-law and best friend, Sheila Crothamel and husband, Charles, of Warminster, PA; two grandchildren, Willow and Sky Smith; and five nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6-8 pm on Monday, February 2, 2009, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 W. Park Place, Newark, DE. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at Newark United Methodist Church, 69 E. Main Street, Newark, DE. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE.

Louis Robert Costanzo, Sr. "Pop"

Age 76, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 29, 2009.

Louie was a proud bricklayer and worked for the B.A.C. Local #1 for 59 years, he retired in April 1983. Louie was a member of Corpus Christi R. C. Church for 50 years. He loved to go to Delaware Park. Pop enjoyed going to the beach and boardwalk in Rehoboth, also spending many summers vacationing at his beach house. He was a fan of the Phillies and Miami Dolphins. He loved spending time with his family and friends, going out to eat, and always enjoyed a party.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Mary Gralewski Costanzo in 1994. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Palma and brother-in-law, Robert Higgin. Louie will be dearly missed by his nine children Louis Costanzo, Jr. and his wife Terry, Susan Black and her husband Larry, Vincent Costanzo, James Costanzo and his wife Barbara, Raymond Costanzo and his wife Sharon, Joanne Parks and her husband Patrick, William Costanzo and his wife Diane, Marilou Austin and her husband William, Debra Mitchner and her husband Barry; 26 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Rose Ann Freeland and Richard Berryman; brother, Anthony Costanzo and his wife Theresa; and sister, Josephine Mullin and her husband Mark.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi R. C. Church, 901 New Rd., Elsmere on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 10:30 am. Friends may call at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere, Monday evening, February 2nd from 6-8 pm. Interment in Cathedral Cemetery.

KRIENEN-GRIFFITH FUNERAL HOME

Earl W. Favinger

Earl W. Favinger, age 92, of Newark, DE passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2009.

Earl was an Electrical Engineer for Factory Mutual Engineering Co. He served in WW II as an x-ray technician. He was a longtime member of Presbyterian Church of the Covenant and a member of the Master Gardeners at the University of Delaware.

He is survived by his sister, Betty Sharp of Milford, DE and 9 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Dorris, in November 2008.

A graveside service will be held at the Milford Community Cemetery, (formerly Odd Fellows Cemetery), Rt 113, Milford, on Tuesday, February 3 at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, 500 Duncan Rd., Wilmington, DE 19703.

Robert D. Hanson "Bob"

Mr. Bob Hanson, 76 of Wilmington, DE, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 29, 2009.

Bob was well known and dearly loved for his style, grace, dignity, generosity of spirit and his wonderful sense of humor. He was a great cook and a gracious host.

Bob will be fondly remembered by his wife, Jane; daughter, Amy and her husband, Dave Thompson; stepsons, Robert Tigani II and his wife, Amy and Christopher Tigani; grandsons, Christopher James Tigani and John Louis Tigani; and his brother, David Hanson and his wife, Kay. Scores of friends across the country will miss him as well.

Bob will be received with a brief prayer service at the Parish of the Resurrection Church, 3000 Videre Drive, Skyline Ridge, Wilmington on Sunday, February 1 at 7pm. Visitation and Vigil will follow throughout the evening. A morning prayer service will be held at the church on Monday, February 2 at 9am. A Mass of Christian Burial for Bob will be celebrated at 11am followed by interment in Lower Brandywine Cemetery, Kennett Pike, Greenville.

The family respectfully requests that flowers be omitted.
