passed away on December 1, 2006.

She was the beloved wife of Robert Ritz; devoted mother of Bobby Hazelton, Scott Hazelton, David Hazelton and Brandy Cordell; loving daughter of Elaine J. Keen; dear sister of Darlene Stanton and Walter E. Wallace, Jr. Also survived by 8 granddaughters; and 2 grandsons.

Friends may call at the family owned DUDA-RUCK FUNERAL HOME OF DUNDALK, INC., 7922 Wise Avenue, Dundalk, MD, on Tuesday, December 5, from 5-7 pm. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 5, at 6 pm. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations c/o the funeral home, towards funeral expenses.

Forrest W. Shoupe

Age 84, of Dover, DE, died December 1, 2006, at Christiana Care, in Newark. Service 1 pm, Thursday, December 7, 2006, at TORBERT FUNERAL CHAPEL, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service.

Clarence Simmons

Age 67, of Newark, DE, died November 30, 2006.

A visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2006, from 10-11 am, at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1325 Barksdale Rd, Newark, DE 19711, followed by a service, at 11 am. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove cemetery, Port Penn, DE.

Richard Simmons, Sr.

Age 73, of Elkton, MD, died on Sunday, December 3, 2006. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm, on Thursday, December 7, at GEE FUNERAL HOME, 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD. Friends may call from 11 am-1 pm.

Robert B. Hayden

Age 90, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on December 2, 2006.

Mr. Hayden graduated in 1940, from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed by Dupont Co. for 40 years, working in Engineering Research and the Textile Fibers Department, retiring in 1978. Bob was a member of the Lutheran Church of The Good Shepard, a charter member of Masonic Granite-Corinthian Lodge #34 and a member of the Lombardy Hall Foundation.

He was preceded in death by his son, William B. Hayden. Bob is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marjorie Hayden; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 7, at 11 am, in the Lutheran Church of The Good Shepard, 1530 Foulk Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803. A Masonic service will be held at 10:45 am. Friends may call at the church at 10 am. Burial will be in MN.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church memorial fund or the Lombardy Hall Foundation, PO Box 7036, Wilmington, DE 19803.

Stephen R. Jones "Steve"

Age 31, of Lewes, DE, was called home by the Lord on Thursday, November 30, 2006.

Steve was born December 14, 1974, in Newark, and moved to Lewes as a young child. He was the supervisor of Public Works for the town of Laurel and had served with the Lewes Fire Department. Steve was a loving, devoted husband who enjoyed numerous hobbies, including horseback riding, water skiing, fishing, hunting, and jet skiing.

Jones is survived by his wife, Katie of Lewes; his parents, Pat and Bob Jones of Lewes; brother, Chuck Jones of Lewes; his mother and father-in-law, Charles and Marcia Melson of Lewes; brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Jennifer Melson of Millsboro; and his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Elizabeth and Chad Melson, all of Millsboro.

A service will be held Wednesday, December 6, at 12 noon, from the Long Neck chapel of MELSON FUNERAL SERVICES, on Long Neck Road, in Millsboro.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Steve's memory to the Delaware Humane Society of Sussex County, 22918 DuPont Blvd., Georgetown, DE 19947.

Phenize Scott Odom

Age 81, of Wilmington, DE, God called him from labor to reward, on November 29, 2006, at his home, in the Windsor Village Apartments.

Phenize was the son of the late Mr. James Odom and Mrs. Lessie Williams Odom. He was born in Bamberg County, SC, on October 26, 1925. He served in the United States Army where he received a Korean Service Medal W/2 B S, and was a former member of Star in the East Lodge #1 of Free and Accepted Masons. He also was a member of Mt. Joy United Methodist Church. Odom retired as a Supervisor/Gang Leader from the International Longshoreman of Wilmington, DE.

He leaves to cherish his memory 2 sons, Virgil and Waldo Robertson and their families; 1 sister, Naomi O. Johnson of Allendale, SC; 2 step-sisters, Louise Able of Bamberg, SC, Elizabeth Hayward of Brooklyn, NY; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Service will be 12 noon, Wed., Dec. 6, at Mt. Joy United Methodist Church, 455 Townsend St., Wilm., DE. Viewing 10-12 noon. Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial cemetery.

Rose Borrelli (Casapulla)

Mrs. Rose (Casapulla) Borrelli, age 76, of Hockessin, DE, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2006.

Mrs. Borrelli was born in Wilmington, DE, on December 9, 1930, daughter of the late Luigi and Anna (Zampini) Casapulla. Rose offered over 30 years of exemplary service with the State of DE, working as an accredited record technician at the Emily Bissel Hospital. She was later a co-owner of Casapulla's Sub Shop in Hockessin, working there until its closing in 1999. Rose was also a longtime parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church.

Mrs. Borrelli is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Paul L. Borrelli; daughter, Paula LaPenta and her husband, Michael, of Rehoboth Beach, DE; brothers, Joseph Casapulla and his wife, Gerry, of Hockessin, DE, Andrew Casapulla and his wife, Arlene, and Louis Casapulla and his wife, Rosemarie, all of Elsmere, DE; sisters, Vincetta Sparco and her husband, Louis, Marion Stalloni, Philomena Carey, and Jeanne DiFrancesco and her husband, John, all of Elsmere, DE; grandchildren, Jackie and Jason LaPenta; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Moore.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th and DuPont Sts., in Wilm., on Monday morning, December 18 at 10:30 am. Entombment will follow in Cathedral cemetery. Family and friends may call at the CHARLES P. ARCARO FUNERAL HOME, 2309 Lancaster Ave. (opp. Cathedral Cem.), on Sunday evening, December 17, from 7-9 pm.

Margaret Maggie Briscoe

Age 96, passed away Dec. 8, 2006, at Parkview Nursing Center. Beloved mother of Louis Briscoe, Sr. Funeral 11 am, Fri., Dec. 15, at CONGO FUNERAL HOME, 201 N. Gray Ave., viewing 10-11 am. Burial will be private.

Mary Jane Dellorse (Parag) "Janie"

Mrs. Mary Jane "Janie" Wright Parag Vied Dellorse, age 77, of New Castle, DE, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at Christiana Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Janie was born in Wilmington, on November 20, 1929, daughter of the late Phillip Wright and Helen Garneski Wright. A talented homemaker throughout her life, she greatly enjoyed gardening around her home and creating beautiful crochet work. She was also a gifted painter and crafter. For many years, Janie especially delighted in going dancing with friends.

Her husband, Eugene T. Dellorse, died in 1986. She is survived by 6 children, Stephen E. Parag (Janet) of Delaware City, William W. Parag (Debbie) of Newark, David R. Parag, Sr. (Judy) of Wilmington, Edward J. Parag of Bear, Darlene H. Hitt (Allen) of New Castle, and April M. Wells (Earl) of Newark; stepson, David Dellorse (Angel) of Wilmington; 24 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and pet dogs, Babe and Sugar.

Friends may call 6-8 pm, on Sunday, December 17, 2006, at the SPICER-MULLIKIN FUNERAL HOME, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle. A funeral service will be held at 11 am, on Monday, December 18, 2006, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle.

Harolyn R. Diggs "Bingo" "Nickie"

Harolyn R. Diggs, age 46, of Wilmington, DE, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Martha M. Diggs. Harolyn was born in Wilmington on June 18, 1960. Harolyn graduated from Wilmington High School. Harolyn worked as a Senior Food Service Worker and Nursing Assistant at the Delaware Psychiatric Center and she also worked as a bus aide for the Colonial School District.

She leaves to cherish, a grandmother, Anna M. Madric; 2 brothers, Darren Diggs and Erick Diggs; 2 sisters, Nettora Lloyd-Hinson (Albert) and Ericka Diggs; 2 great aunts; 2 nephews; 3 nieces; 2 God-children; and a host of family and friends.

A service Celebrating Harolyn's Life will be 11 am, Friday, December 15, 2006, at Outreach Holy Word Christian Church, 400 South Buttonwood St., Wilmington, DE; viewing 9-11 am. Interment in Silverbrook Memorial Park.
