Rozina B. Zuber

Age 63, departed this life June 30, 2006, at Christiana Hospital.

She leaves to cherish her memory her goddaughter, Robyn Rivers; special friends, Na-ori Anderson and Aledia Young; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral 11 am Thursday, July 6, at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1325 Barksdale Rd., Newark. Viewing 9-10:45 am only. Burial in Gracelawn Memorial Park. Arr. by CONGO FUNERAL HOME

Annabelle Bailor

Age 86, of Odessa, DE, formerly of Baltimore, MD, died peacefully in her home Thursday, July 6, 2006.

Family and friends may call Tuesday, July 11th, between 10-11 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 345 Bear Christiana Rd., Bear, DE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer cemetery, 4430 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a local church of choice.

Justin Michael Bartley

Age 24 of Loves Park, IL, died Sunday, July 2, 2006, at his residence.

Mr. Bartley was born December 7, 1981 in Reno, NV, the son of Michael and Barbara Geiselhart Bartley. He married Nicole Foshe on July 8, 2005 in DeKalb County. He was a diesel mechanic by Harlem School District and a Stocker at Logli's. He served in the U.S. Army and Illinois National Guard, serving in Iraq with the 1644th Transportation Company.

He is survived by his wife, Nicole of Kingston, IL; mother, Barbara (Ed) Moore of Tampa, FL; father, Michael Bartley of Newark, DE; sister, Brandie Moore of Tampa, FL; brother, Jeramie Moore of Phoenix, AZ; mother-in-law, Betsy Foshe (Donnie Askins) of Kingston, IL; father-in-law, Howard (Margie) Foshe of Lee, IL; sister-in-law, Crystal Foshe of Kingston, IL; nephew, Jacob Askins of DeKalb, IL; maternal grandmother, Clara "G/MA" Geiselhart of Rockford, IL; maternal grandfather, Odes Bartley of Smyrna, DE; and grandparents, Tom and Judy Anderson of DeKalb, IL. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by maternal grandfather, Dick Geiselhart; maternal grandmother, Dora J. Bartley; and cousin, Michael Geiselhart, Jr.

A service was held Friday, July 7, 2006, in Belvidere, IL. Rev. Joel Hicke officiated. Interment was in the Garden of Memories, Belvidere, IL.

Paul J. Bogucki, Sr.

Age 50, of Wilmington, DE, died on June 29, 2006.

He is survived by his wife, Debby; children, Christy Bogucki, Erin, and Paul, Jr.; sisters, Vivian Kolmonen, Joanne Coyle and Kym Welch; and brother, James Welch.

Friends and Relatives are invited to the service on Monday, July 10, 2006, at 1 pm at Delaware Veterans cemetery Chapel, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd., Bear, DE.

NEW CASTLE CREMATION SERVICE

Marion Elizabeth Buchanan

Age 87, formerly of Sharpley, Talleyville, DE, died on May 6, 2006 of Alzheimer's disease at the Providence Living Center in McKinney, TX, where she was a resident.

Mrs. Buchanan was a homemaker and an avid volunteer. One of her favorite duties was leading guided, narrated tours at The Hagley Museum. She enjoyed golf, bridge, sewing, cooking, reading, painting, and traveling, and was a member of the DuPont Country Club.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Robert of Grapevine, TX, Ralph of Maricopa, AZ, and Richard of Frisco, TX; and 5 grandchildren.

A brief, outdoor memorial service and burial will take place at 10 am on Wednesday, July 12th, at the Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church at 117 Old Kennett Road in Centerville, across from Winterthur Museum.

NORTH DALLAS FUNERAL HOME AT FARMERS BRANCH Dallas, TX

W. Wilson Burris

W. Wilson Burris, age 86, of Smyrna, DE, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2006, in Bayhealth in Kent General Hospital, in Dover, DE.

Born in Kenton, DE, he was the son of the late Elmer and Lena (Graham) Burris. For more than 60 years, Mr. Burris was a dairy and grain farmer in the Middletown area, retiring in 1973. As time permitted, he enjoyed designing flower arrangements, gardening and upholstering. For the past 37 years, he was a member of the Middletown Baptist Church, where he served as deacon during the past 12 years and helped with their Sunday School program. Mr. Burris was dedicated to his church, and for the past 20 years faithfully arranged the flowers for the alter and enjoyed volunteering his time to the church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Aspril; and a brother, James Cooper Burris. He is survived by a brother, Raymond "Dickey" Burris, of Middletown, DE; and 2 sisters, Ruth Carter and Helen Walker, both of Wilmington, DE.

Family and friends may call from 7-9 pm on Tuesday evening, July 11, at the Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad Street, Middletown, DE. The funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, July 12, at Middletown Baptist Church, 419 Armstrong Corner Road, Middletown, DE. Interment will be in Glenwood cemetery, in Smyrna, DE.

Harry C. Hall, Jr.

Harry C. Hall, Jr., a 1949 graduate of Salesianum, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 29, 2006.

A memorial mass to celebrate Harry's life will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, June 20, at St. Ann's Church, Gilpin Ave. & Union St., Wilmington.

Curtis M. Hinsley, Sr.

Curtis Matthew Hinsley, Sr., age 88, died in Flagstaff, AZ on Friday, April 14, 2006.

Mr. Hinsley was born in Wyoming, DE. He graduated from Beacom College, in Wilmington, DE, and the New York Academy of Theatrical Arts, in New York, NY. He enjoyed acting in community theater productions and was an ardent tennis player. A resident with his wife, Jacqueline, at The Peaks, Mr. Hinsley moved to Flagstaff 4 years ago from New Castle, DE. Mr. Hinsley worked for 37 years with Hercules Inc., a chemical trading firm in DE. During World War II, he was stationed at the Radford Ordnance Works, in VA, and the Volunteer Ordnance Works, in Chattanooga, TN, followed by service in the US Navy. He then joined the Hercules export department and after a European tour of service, he became the European sales manager. He served on trade missions to Eastern Europe for the State of Delaware and the US Department of Commerce, and was a member of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, in Washington, DC. After retirement from Hercules, he worked in New York City, NY in chemical trading and dealt in commercial real estate.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jacqueline; a daughter, Jacqueline H. (Randy) Morrison, of Columbus, OH; a son, Curtis Hinsley, Jr., of Sedona, AZ; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, June 24th, at 2 pm, at the New Castle Presbyterian Church, 25 E. 2nd St., New Castle, DE. A reception will follow in the church social hall.

Monfreda "Tommy" F. Holladay, Sr.

Age 85, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 9, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital. His devoted wife and son, Dwight "Doc", were at his side.

Monfreda was the son of the late Benjamin and Lillian Holladay. He attended the public schools of DE and Howard High School. Monfreda worked at the Peter Feinberg Furniture Company, in Wilmington, for over 30 years before retirement. He also worked briefly for Getty Oil Company. Monfreda was a very skilled and talented carpenter, who enjoyed sharing his talent with family and friends. He also enjoyed meeting his buddies daily for breakfast at the Post House on Market Street. He was a choir member at Mt. Zion Methodist Church, in Philadelphia, PA, until he joined New Life Baptist Church of Delaware.

Monfreda was predeceased by 2 brothers, Hughmercer "Buddy", of New Castle, DE, and J. Stanley Holladay, of Washington, DC; and 1 sister, Mary Mitchell, of Wilmington, DE. He leaves to mourn his loving, devoted and dedicated wife, Ann Brathwaite-Holladay; 3 sons and 1 daughter-in-law, Willis and Barbara Holladay, of FL, Monfreda F. Holladay, Jr., of MD, and Dwight "Doc" Holladay, of DE; 1 stepdaughter, Cherryann Brathwaite-McIntyre, of DE; mother-in-law, Louise Fraser, of Trinidad; 3 sisters, Martha Minus, of Coatesville, PA, Pearl Holladay, of White Plains, NY, and Lillian McDonald, of Wilmington, DE; 4 sisters-in-law; 7 brothers-in-law; 4 grandsons, Glenn and Mark Holladay, Marvin Holladay, Sr. and Kirk Bullock, all of DE; and 1 great grandson, Marvin Holladay, Jr, of DE. He is also survived by 3 stepgrandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members; and a special childhood friend, Willard "Shorty" Briscoe. He will be deeply missed by many whose lives he touched.

There will be a viewing from 5-7 pm only on Friday, June 16, at New Life Baptist Church of Delaware, 600 S. Claymont St., Wilmington, DE 19801, followed by the funeral service at 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Monfreda F. Holladay, to his church, New Life Baptist Church of Delaware.
