Cynthia Bechtold KROLICK
Cynthia Bechtold Krolick Age 46 died at home on January 17, 2005.
Cindy, as her friends knew her, was born in Dover, NJ, daughter of Bruce H. and Elizabeth R. Bechtold.
During her youth, Cindy lived in many places, moving about with the family as they were transferred from NJ to Cumberland, MD, to Cape Canaveral, FL, back to MD, to Salt Lake City, UT, and finally to Wilmington, DE.
She graduated from East High School in Salt Lake City, UT in 1976.
While in secondary and high schools in Salt Lake City, Cindy excelled in swimming and amassed a large collection of ribbons and trophies from school and AAU competition in the Mountain West region.
Upon graduation she enlisted in the Army, and was assigned to the military police.
She spent most of her 2-year career in AL and at the Dugway Proving Grounds in UT.
She was honorably discharged with the rank of corporal.
In 1979, Cindy married
Alan Casey of Salt Lake and divorced in 1981.
In 1982, she married
Edward J. Krolick of Boothwyn, PA, her husband at the time of her death.
Cindy spent most of her later years as a beloved housewife, who had great talent for cooking and serving up wonderful feasts.
She also had a kind heart for animals, both domestic and wild, having many fortunate pets during her brief life.
Cindy is survived by her husband Edward; 3 sons, Greg, Steven and Brian, all at home in Middletown, DE; her father and mother of Bozman, MD; a younger sister, Laura; and a nephew, Laura's son, Jack, both of Wilmington.
The funeral service will be Friday, January 21, 2005, at 11 am at the Fairwinds Baptist Church, 801 Seymour Rd., Bear, DE 19701, where friends may call beginning at 10 am.
Burial will follow in Hickory Grove cemetery, Port Penn, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Fairwinds Christian School.
Frank W. MALLOZZI
Frank W. Mallozzi Age 80 of Townsend, DE died Monday, January 17, 2005, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Scranton, PA.
Mr. Mallozzi was born August 8, 1924 in Dresher, PA, son of the late Salvatore and Clara Tuccerone Mallozzi. He was an industrial arts teacher at Brandywine High School for 36 years before retirement.
He served as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps during World War II.
He was a member of the Smyrna Lions Club and St. Polycarp's Roman Catholic Church in Smyrna.
He was an avid golfer and was active in state politics with the Democratic Party.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Light Mallozzi; 5 daughters, Ann Ellis of Havertown, PA, Gloria English of Cupertino, CA, Jean Phelan of Virginia Beach, VA, Clair Choffel of Chesapeake, VA and Gail Pettee of Smyrna, DE; 1 sister, Modesta Marcincola of Ambler, PA; 1 brother, Salvatore Mallozzi of Erie, PA; and 6 grandchildren.
Family and friends may call from 10-11 am on Monday, January 24, in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, DE 19977. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Polycarps Roman Catholic Church, 135 Ransom Lane, Smyrna, DE, at 11:30 am on Monday.
Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial cemetery in Bear, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Polycarp's Church, 135 Ransom Lane, Smyrna, DE 19977.
Carol A. PHILLIPS
Carol A. Phillips Carol A. Phillips, age 41, of Bear, DE, passed away unexpectedly on February 11, 2005.
Carol, born in Wilmington to the late Richard F. and Jean Short Phillips, was a 1981 graduate of Alexis I. duPont High School and attended Salisbury State College.
She spent her entire career working for the U.S. Postal Service, including the Hares Corner and Rodney Square branches, and most recently the Marshallton branch.
Carol enjoyed travel and hanging out with her friends.
She was a regular at Stewart's Brewing in Governor's Square, where she was a champion at NNT Play Trivia.
The biggest passion in Carol's life was cats.
She was known to rescue stray cats and at the time of her death, had 4 cats living with her.
Carol is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Ed Treml; her devoted friend, Jerry Shephard; her niece and her husband, Tracy and David Truban, their son, Andrew Richard Truban; 4 aunts; 1 uncle; 2 stepnieces and their husbands, Denise and Saul Polish and Stephanie and Marvin McClain; 2 step-great nephews; and 3 step-great nieces.
A viewing will be held from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, February 16 at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, (Route 2 East @ Duncan Rd.), where the funeral service will be held at 11 am, Thursday, February 17 and friends may also call after 10 am.
Interment will be in Silverbrook cemetery.

William L. Warrick
Age 78, of Marshallton DE. passed away peacefully at home on March 8, 2005, surrounded by his family and extended family.
Mr. Warrick was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was in the 121st. Naval Construction Battalion, "Seabees" and served in the South Pacific as a Chief Motor Mechanic. He was employed with General Motors for 27 years, a member of Mill Creek Fire Co. and was known as everybody's "Mr. Fix It". Mr. Warrick loved fishing, spending time with his family at home and at the cottage, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Warrick, his sisters, Elizabeth, Marian and Elva, and his twin brother, Albin. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Elva Warrick, his sons, Leslie Warrick and his wife Sandra, of Marshallton DE and Jeffrey Warrick and his wife Connie of Wilmington DE; grandchildren, Jack Warrick and his fiance, Kristin Merring and Brian Warrick and his fiance, Keely Schupp, Robin Warrick, Jessica Warrick and Amber Warrick; great grandchildren, Caitlyn Warrick, Timothy Warrick and MacKenzie Warrick. Bill is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, including niece Barbara Lindsey and her husband Dave who were extremely helpful during Uncle Bill's illness.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday March 12, 2005, at 11am. in the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, where friends may call at 10am. Burial will be in the adjoining memorial park.

Margaret Yarbrough (Nelson)
Age 50 passed away March 6, 2005 in Wilmington Hospital.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Mary Nelson; brother, Alfred Nelson, III; sister, Tammy D. Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ms. Yarbrough worked for DuPont Merck for 17 years. She was a member of New Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
