Patricia A. Fortugno
Age 74 passed away Saturday, January 31, 2004.
Mrs. Fortugno had been a clerical worker for several years at St. Patrick's Senior Center and the Claymore Senior Center.
She is survived by a son, Christopher and wife, Joan Fortugno and Gina and husband Larry Kozicki; sisters, Audrey Hayes and Kathleen Hemphill; and a grandson, Adam.
She was predeceased by a brother, James J. Duffy, Jr. in 1974.
A mass will be offered Wednesday morning, February 4 at 11 am in St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church with burial to follow in Cathedral cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
The Fortugno family wishes to acknowledge the care and concern demonstrated by the staff of the Kentmere Nursing Home Care and wishes to acknowledge the treatment with respect and love that she was given.

John F. Lowry, 68, of Lincoln, DE died at home, Saturday, January 31, 2004.
Services will be 1 pm Tuesday, February 3, at LOFLAND FUNERAL HOME, 102 Lakeview Ave., Milford where friends may call after 12 noon. Interment will be private.
Dorothy Brown Mason
Age 96 of West Grove, PA formerly of Kennett Square, PA died Sunday, February 1, 2004 at the Jenners Pond Retirement Community.
She was the wife of the late Raymond H. Mason who died in 1997 and with whom she shared 66 years of marriage.
Born September 29, 1907 in Troy, OH she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Nancy Oldham Brown.
Dorothy was greatly loved and will be sadly missed.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, reading and talking with her many friends and relatives, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are 1 daughter, Jo Ann Mason of West Grove, PA; and a son, Robert E. Mason and his wife, Sally of Chadds Ford, PA; 4 grandchildren, Robin Mason and Michael Ciorrocco of Avondale, PA, Debbie Mason Munday of Rising Sun, MD, Thomas Mason of Oxford, PA and Robert E. Mason, Jr. and his wife, Lauren of Coatesville, PA; 1 sister, Evelyne Razor of Troy, OH; and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 5 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Friends and family will be received from 10-11 am Thursday, February 5, 2004 at the FOULK FUNERAL HOME, Inc., (610-869-2685) 200 Rose Hill Rd., West Grove.
A funeral service will follow at 11 am with the Rev. John Ferguson officiating.
Interment will be in Union Hill cemetery, Kennett Square.

Teddy W. Pawlikowski
Age 87 formerly of Wilmington, DE passed away in the Country Rest Nursing Home in Greenwood, DE on Saturday, January 31, 2004.
He was the son of the late Boleslaw and Maryanna Pawlikowski.
He had been a material handler at the Dupont Edgemoor plant for 32 years retiring in 1978.
He is survived by a daughter, Theresa P. and her husband, H. Bruce Lewis of Milford; and a sister, Stella Protack of Millsboro; 4 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several cousins.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Anna Waclo Pawlikowski in 1959; a son, Theodore A. in 1992; and his second wife, Jean Struzynski Pawlikowski in 1999.
A mass will be offered at 11 am on Thursday morning, February 5 with burial to follow in All Saints cemetery.
Visitation will be 9 am Thursday morning at the JOHN F. YASIK FUNERAL HOME, 607 S. Harrison St.

Barbara L. Reed
Barbara L. Reed, age 79, of Seaford, DE died on Friday, January 23, 2004 at the Methodist Manor House in Seaford.
She moved to Seaford from NJ in 1996.
Mrs. Reed retired in 1980 from the Essex County Vocational School in Newark, NJ where she was the Librarian.
She was a member of Seaford Presbyterian Church.
Her husband Charles Allen Reed, Jr. died March 13 2003.
A memorial service will be on Wednesday, February 4th at 10 am at the Methodist Manor House Chapel, 1001 Middleford Rd., Seaford.

Katherine Sturgeon
Katherine Sturgeon, born June 25, 1906, in Wilmington, DE died at her home in Ft, Lauderdale, FL, Thursday, January 29, 2004.
Katherine was the last surviving sibling of 8 children born to John Garvey and Mary Hardiman of Wilmington.
She was raised and educated in Wilmington.
Shortly before World War II, Katherine began working in New York City.
It was here that she met her husband, Carl.
Carl's employment with the Gulf Oil Company took them to South America where they lived for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carl; her brothers, John, William, Thomas and Francis Garvey; her sisters, Esther McGowan, Marge Valentine and Florence Slowinski.
She is survived by her 7 great nieces and nephews who will miss her wit and fortitude.
Funeral services will be private.

Jacob Paul Wilt, Sr.
Age 73 of McClure, PA and formerly of Wilmington, DE died Saturday, January 31, 2004 in Lewistown Hospital.
He was born in Hollidaysburg on June 19, 1930 to the late Lee D. and Kathryn (Grenoble) Wilt.
He worked in the paint department of GM Corp. in Wilmington for 30 years, retiring in 1985.
He was a member of the Lewistown Gospel Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. (Davis) Wilt, whom he married
July 20, 1957; his children, Nancy Wilt Glynn and her husband, Martin of Wilmington, DE, Jacob Paul Wilt, Jr. of Wilmington, DE and Lee P. Wilt and his wife, Michelle of New Castle, DE; his siblings, Virginia Wilt of McClure, Jeremiah Wilt of Harrisburg, Dorothy Foulk of McClure, Samuel Wilt of McClure, Abel Wilt of McClure, Joseph Wilt of Lewistown, Barbara Deamer of Lewistown and David Wilt of McClure; grandchildren, Martin J. Glynn, Jr. and his wife, Megan, Shawn M. Glynn, Brandon P. Glynn, Jessica L. Wilt, Jacob A. Wilt and Brian P. McLaughlin; and great grandchildren, Hunter Marie Glynn and Kaleb Ryan Glynn.
He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Rebecca Moad, John Wilt, Jethro Wilt, Lee G. Wilt and Betty St. John.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at HELLER-HOENSTINE WOODLAWN FUNERAL HOME, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 7-9 pm on Tuesday, February 3.
Interment will be held in Wilt cemetery, McClure.
