Charlotte Jamgochian,
WWII Navy veteran
Charlotte Jamgochian, 75, of Rehoboth Beach, died Monday, May 23, 2005, at home.
Mrs. Jamgochian was born in Shamokin, Pa., the daughter of the late Roy and Mary Shuey.
She was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, John Jamgochian; her children, Donna and her husband Marvin; Michael and his wife Kathleen; David and his wife, Joanne; and Charles; seven grandchildren; and a special niece, Joanne Logan.
A memorial service will be held at noon, Tuesday, May 31, at the Reformation Lutheran Church, Route 36, Milford, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be private.

Miriam Jane Rich,
Georgetown homemaker
Miriam Jane Rich, 78, of Georgetown, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2005, at Lewes Convalescent Center in Lewes, after a short illness.
Mrs. Rich was born April 20, 1927 in Philadelphia, Pa., daughter of the late Ethel (Leisinring) and Walter Hutzel. She had moved to Delaware in 1987 from New Jersey. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family and friends very much.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Robert J. Rich.
Mrs. Rich is survived by two daughters, Marianne C. Rich of Rehoboth Beach and Barbara J. Rich of Lewes; two sons, Joseph D. Rich Jr. of Stone Harbor, N.J. and John M. Rich of Carlsbad, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A private service will be scheduled at a later date

Babby Moore Hannum,
Lewes native
Babby Moore Hannum, 44, of Port Deposit, Md., and formerly of Lewes, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2005, at home.
Babby was born in Lewes, the daughter of the late Jacob and Beatrice E. Lowe Moore. She spent most of her life in the Harbeson and Lewes areas before moving to Port Deposit seven years ago. During her time in Delaware she was a bartender at Grotto Grand Slam in Lewes and a member of American Legion Post 17 Auxiliary, Lewes. She was a Cape Henlopen High School graduate anda people persoon who always enjoyed spending time with others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shelly Creed.
She is survived by a son, Jason Lawson of Port Deposit, MD.; a granddaughter, Lea Dubosq; a sister, Bebe Moore of Lewes; a brother, Wayne Hudson of Montana; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Buddy and Duke.
A memorial service was held on Lewes Beach. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 163, Salisbury MD 21803. Arrangements by Short Funeral Services, Milton.
Mary V. Wilson,

Mary V. Vorce Wilson, 80, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2005, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born Oct. 24, 1924 in Hot Springs, S. D. to Clinton H. and Anna G. Lynch Vorce. She was one of six children.
Mary moved to the suburbs of Washington, D. C. in l934. She married Vernon D. Wilson in l945. Mary served in the Women ’s Army Corp during WWII. Mary and her husband retired to Delaware in l974.
She was a devout Catholic and an avid reader. She loved gardening, birds and spending time with her family. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, her eldest sister, Gia, and her youngest sister, Margaret.
Mary is survived by three sons, Philip J. and wife Stacia of Rehoboth Beach, with whom Mary lived; Robert E. of Odenton, Md. and Clinton J. of Greenbelt, Md.; and a daughter, Barbara J. Morris and her husband, Allan, of Rehoboth Beach.
In addition to her sons and daughter, she is survived by her sister, Roseann, and her husband, Jack Redmond, of Southport, N. C.; and two brothers, James W. Vorce and his wife Joan of Keedysville, Md., and John C. Vorce and his wife, Dorothy, of Bowie, Md.
Mary will be sadly missed by her loving grandchildren: Tabitha, Matt, Bret, Kim, Kelly, Terri, Lindsay, Mike, Casey and Carolina.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at 11 a. m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins- Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Hwy., Lewes, where friends may at 10 a. m. Christina G. Lokken,
businesswoman
Christina Gaadt Lokken, 50, of Milton, died Thursday, May 26, 2005, at her residence . A beloved mother, sister, daughter and aunt, she was born in Norwalk, Ct. Nov. 19, 1954 and raised in Wilmington.
She attended Tower Hill School, Brandywine High School and the University of Delaware where she received her bachelor ’s degree in education. She taught in Delaware schools before taking an assignment with the Peace Corps School in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands where she spent over four years and traveled extensively.
Upon her return to the states she moved to Florida where she started Palm Tease, a clothing design and manufacturing company. Later she moved back to Delaware and opened a Palm Tease Manufacturing facility in Newark, and later a retail store in Rehoboth Beach. Most recently she had started Cape Appraisals, a real estate appraisal firm.
She is survived by her daughter, Hannah Lokken; her mother, Loretta Knight; a brother and sister- in- law, John and Suzanne Gaadt; her grandmother, Katherine Eickhoff; and niece and nephew, Giulia and Ian Gaadt. A celebration of Christina ’s life will be held at 2400 Bay Avenue, Lewes Beach, at 3 p. m., Thursday, June 2. Burial will be private at Epworth Methodist cemetery
in Rehoboth.

John Bernard Flaherty,

John Bernard Flaherty, 77 of Lewes, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes.
He was born in Bloomsburg, Pa., son of the late John William and Helen Kile Flaherty, and was raised in Washington, D. C.
Mr. Flaherty formerly lived in District Heights, Md., where he worked for C & P Telephone Company of Maryland. He served in the Navy during WWII on board the USS Providence. He retired in 1985 to Lewes. Mr. Flaherty was very active for 18 years in the Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540, and also active in Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances Claggett Flaherty of Lewes; three sons, John F. Flaherty and his wife, Susan, of Bishopville, Md., Kevin B. Flaherty and his wife, Vickie, of Boca Raton, Fla., and Timothy J. Flaherty and his wife, Terri, of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Beth Flaherty Ecker of Lewes; five grandchildren, one step- grandson and two stepgranddaughters. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, Route 1 at Five Points at 10 a. m.,
Saturday, May 28. Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 31, at 10: 30 a. m. at Resurrection cemetery , Clinton, Md.

Charles A. Bryan,

Charles Andrew Bryan, 96, of Rehoboth Beach, died peacefully Monday, May 23, 2005, at the home of his granddaughter, Ruthanne R. Jacobs, and her husband, Dennis, in Ocean View, surrounded by his loving granddaughters, Ruthanne, Deborah and Terry. Charles was born in Raleigh, N. C., the son of the late Ernest H. and Julia Johnson Bryan. He had lived in Rehoboth Beach since 1933. He was a U. S. Army veteran, stationed in the South Pacific during WWII. He operated various restaurants and during the early 1960s, he was a chef for Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. He also worked as a house painter until age 79.
Charles was an avid gardener and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth W. Bryan, in 2003.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in- law, Evelyn W. and Harvey E. Roberts of Ocean View; three sisters, Stella Holley, Margaret Humphries and Isabella Wilder, all of Raleigh; four granddaughters, Deborah R. Skovron and her husband, Walter, of Pasadena, Md., Terry R. Witham of St. John, U. S. Virgin Islands, Ruthanne R. Jacobs and her husband, Dennis, of Ocean View and Mary R. Iaconi of Baltimore, Md.; eight great- grandchildren, Kate, Joseph, Shauna, Erin, Stephen, Ben, Christina and Afsoon; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a. m.., Thursday, June 30, at the Bethany chapel of Melson Funeral Services, West Avenue, Ocean View.
Lois Lake English Orth,

Lois Lake “English” Orth, 85, died Thursday, May 19, 2005, at Hockessin Hills in Hockessin.
Mrs. Orth was born in Pleasantville, N.J., and was raised in Northfield, N.J., daughter of the late James G. and Alexandria Williams English. She had formerly lived in New Castle County where she had worked as an office assistant for the county. She was most recently from Sussex County, where she had lived for 20 years. Mrs. Orth was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Lewes, and the Eastern Sussex County Women’s Democratic Club.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Orth was preceded in death by her first husband, Louis V. Pratzer and her second husband Phillip W. Orth; a sister, Mary Harris, and four brothers, Albert English, James English, Bert English and Emmett English
She is survived by two sons, James T. Pratzer and his wife Claire of Wilmington, and Phillip R. Pratzer and his wife Elaine of Hudson, Fla.; two sisters, Dorothy H. Turner of Linwood, N.J. and Ann Conklin of Egg Harbor City, N.J.; three brothers, Russell English and Jack English, both of Northfield, N.J. and Robert English of Venice, Fla.; seven grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.

Richard Selk,
retired from Chrysler
Richard Selk, 69, of Newark, died peacefully following a brief illness on Friday, May 20, 2005, at home.
Mr. Selk was born in Rahway, N.J., son of the late Richard and Gertrude Selk. He retired from Chrysler Corporation where he worked as a security guard.
He was a member of the Recycled Teenage Cruisers Car Club and enjoyed car shows. He was also a member of Moose Lodge 1578 and was an avid University of Delaware football fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Elouise Selk, in May 2003; his son, Patrick Harvey; and an infant son, John Selk.
He is survived by his children, Carmelea McCarthy of Lewes, Rick Selk of New York, Steven Selk of Newark, Kathleen Franklin of Binghampton, N.Y., Sandra Cooke of Newark, Linda Selk of Johnson City, N.Y., Gregory Harvey of Newark, and Cari A. Harvey of New Castle; a sister, Mary Schwartz of Brick, N.J.; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, Newark, with burial at a later date.

Donald Craig Revel,

Donald Craig Revel, 45, of Dagsboro, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at home.
Mr. Revel was born Feb. 13, 1960, son of the late G. Thomas Revel Jr. and Vera Ann Salter Revel.
He was employed by his brother, Gary, for several years, building Timber Frame homes, and for the last five years, worked as a carpenter for Cave Construction of Ocean View.
He is survived by two brothers, Gary T. Revel of Frankford and Mark E. Revel of Saline, Mo.; a sister, Ann Wynes of Lincoln; his girlfriend, Lauren Rhue of Dagsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial were private.

Natasha Elaine Taylor-Benson, of Seaford, aged seven weeks and four days, passed away Friday, May 20, 2005, at home.
Natasha was born March 28 at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandmother, Elaine D. Messick, and a grandfather, Anthony West.
She is survived by her birth mother, Damaris Taylor of Seaford; her adoptive mother, Natasha E. Benson of Dover; her stepmother, Brandy Houston of Dover; four sisters, Demaria Jones, Nakyra Taylor-Benson, Tyra Diaz and Aliajh Diaz; four brothers, Kentray Taylor-Morrison, Dreyquan Diaz, Jordan Diaz and Shawn Travies; her grandparents, Michele and Anthony Banks of Seaford, Nathan A. Benson of Wilmington, Phycillia and Alton Taylor Sr. of Maryland; five aunts, Christina Benson, Ashley Benson, Megan McGhee, Shaunet Trouwer and Shawntae Houston; six uncles, Nathan L. Benson, Antonio Banks, Alton Taylor III, DeShawn Benson, Charles Taylor and DeShawn Coulbron; and cousins, Deasia Trouwer, Cameron Cheers and Julius Cheers.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, at Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, where friends may call after noon.
Burial will be in Union cemetery.

John A. “Babe” Brown, 69, of Milford, died Saturday, May 14, 2005, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover.
Mr. Brown was born Feb. 17. 1936, in Ellendale. He was a truck driver. He was a member of Christian Healing Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Laura Pettyjohn and James Walter Hanzer; five brothers and a sister.
He is survived by two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Minister Betty and Coley Winstead of Boston and the Rev. Margaret and Bermis Duffy of Milton; three daughters, Stacy Smith of Magnolia, Mildred Sample of Ellendale and Patricia Street of Wilmington; and three sons, Jimmy Horsey of Bridgeton, N.J., Jonathan White of Lewes and John Eaddy of Newark.
Services were held at Wesley Chapel, Slaughter Neck, with burial in Old Hickory cemetery , Slaughter Neck.
