Mary Louise Morgan,
retired secretary
Mary Louise Greene Morgan, 79, of Millsboro, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2005 at Harbor Healthcare & Rehab Center, Lewes.
She was born March 9, 1926 in Dover, daughter of the late James and Beatrice Hoover Greene.
Mrs. Morgan had worked as a secretary for a local bank. She loved bowling with the bank league and tending to the flowers in her garden. She also enjoyed going to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was greatly loved and will be sadly missed. She will always be remembered.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Joseph Morgan; one daughter, Kathleen Hebler and her husband Joe of Midlothian, Va.; five sons: James Morgan and his wife Lynn of Delmar, Md., Joseph Morgan Jr. of Tennessee, Richard Morgan of Dagsboro, Gerald Morgan of Millsboro, and Michael Morgan of Millsboro; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters: Helen Klenoski of Dover, Betty Weeks of Camden, Ruth Gac of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; and two brothers: Buddy Greene and Joseph Greene, both of Dover.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, Nov. 10, 7 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Clarksville Chapel, Rts. 26 and 17, Clarksville; Pastor Charlie Arnold will officiate.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in the name of Mary L. Morgan to Harbor Healthcare & Rehab Center, c/o Olive Ward, 301 Ocean View Boulevard, Lewes, DE 19958.

Ruth M. Griffith,
ordained deacon
Ruth M. Griffith, 93, of Ft Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Wilmington, went to be with the Lord in the church triumphant Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005.
She was born Nov. 15, 1909 in Wilmington. Ruth was a lifelong active member and ordained deacon of Hanover Presbyterian Church, where she started the church nursery in 1930. She sang in the choir for many years and was loved by many.
She will be missed, especially by her son, C. Richard, and his wife, Patricia; along with two nieces, who were faithful caregivers while Ruth was in Wilmington.
She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Cornwell Jennings Griffith, Aug. 16, 1992; and sons, C. Jay, Dec, 28, 1994 and R. Edmund on June 16, 1988. Besides her beloved son, C. Richard, and his wife, Patricia, of Ft Lauderdale, and his daughter, Kelly Shirer of Toledo, Oh., Ruth is survived by daughter-in-law, Helen Griffith of Centreville, Ind.; nieces, Joyce Shevchuck of Wilmington and Pauline Margargal of Lewes; 10 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren and friends.
A memorial service celebrating Ruth’s life will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, November 8, at Hanover Presbyterian Church, 18th Street and Baynard Blvd., Wilmington, where family and friends may visit 1 hour prior. Interment will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial cemetery in Bear.
The family suggests contributions to Hanover Presbyterian Church, 1801 Jefferson St., Wilmington, DE 19802. Arrangements by Chandler Funeral Home.

S. Ray Griffith,
body shop employee
S. Ray Griffith, 71, of Ellendale, passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, at his home.
He was a body shop relief man for General Motors, retiring in 1982 after 30 years. Ray was a member of the UAW Local #435 in Wilmington and the Moose Lodge #646-Lewes/Rehoboth. He was an avid fisherman.
Ray is survived by his wife, Betty Griffith; his children, Edward Griffith of Marcus Hook, Pa., Donna Fell of Wilmington, and Yavonne McGhee of New Castle; his brother, Stanley Griffith of Lewes; four stepchildren, Loretta Dillmore of Ellendale, Noble F. Poore Jr., of Dover, Lisa L. Poore and Robert M. Poore, both of Smyrna; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded by his first wife, Anna Mae Griffith; his second wife, Mary Griffith; and his daughter, Lois Buckman.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service Thursday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m. at the McCrery Memorial Chapel, 3710 Kirkwood Highway at Duncan Road, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial cemetery.

Carolyn Lanford Burleigh,
retired chemist
Carolyn Lanford Burleigh, 81 of Wilmington, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, at home.
She was a 1944 graduate of Limestone College in Gaffney, S.C., earning her B.S. in chemistry. She was a chemist for Standard Oil in New Jersey and was also a homemaker. Her hobbies included investments and stocks, floral arrangements and centerpiece decorations. She served on the PTA of the American School in Japan from 1965-1970 and was a volunteer for the Red Cross of Japan from 1968-1970.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Whiteman Burleigh.
She is survived by her daughters, June Burleigh of Blue Bell, Pa. and her husband, Bob Braton, Barbara Burleigh of Newark, and her husband, Robert Rodriguez, Jeanie Robino of Rehoboth Beach, and her husband, Paul Robino and Betty Burleigh of Bear, and her husband, Trevor Mees; one brother, Grover Jefferson Lanford of Woodruff, S.C.; one sister, Mary Hughes Collins of Laurens, S.C.; her grandchildren, Philip Robino of Rehoboth Beach, Caroline Robino of Boca Raton, Fla. and Emi Burleigh of Newark; and several nieces and nephews from South Carolina and Georgia.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1502 W. 13th Street, Wilmington. Burial will be in Lower Brandywine cemetery. Friends may call at the church Wednesday morning from 9-10:30 a.m.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Independence School, 1300 Paper Mill Road, Newark, DE 19711; or to Vitas Hospice of Delaware, 100 Commerce Drive, Suite 302, Newark, DE 19713.

Geneva R. Willey,
retired manufacturer
Geneva R. Willey, 91, of Milton passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, in the Harbor Healthcare Center, Lewes, her residence for the past five weeks.
She was born July 4, 1914, in Blades, daughter of the late Henry and Sadie Steel Venables.
In her younger years, Mrs. Willey was employed in several Milton-area manufacturing positions. As a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she retired to care for her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Alton Willey in 1994; three brothers, William B. Venables, Otto Venables and Henry Venables; a sister, Isabelle Venables Wilkerson; and a grandson, Robert J. “Capt. Bob” Willey.
She is survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, with whom she had lived for many years, Robert A. “Bob” and Kay Willey of Milton; two grandchildren and their spouses, Debra and Carl Anderson and Stephen P. and Dawn Willey, all of Milton; four great-grandchildren, Christopher Willey, Laura Brittingham and her husband, Kyle, Trenton Willey and Paige Wright, all of Milton; three great-great-grandchildren, Sydney Montgomery, Sadie Brittingham and Ticen Willey, all of Milton; a granddaughter-in-law, Kathy Willey of Milton; and her closest friend, Glennie Lee Messick of Milton.
Services will be 1 p.m., Wednesda, Nov. 9, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will be in Odd Fellows cemetery, Milton.

Adele F. Jester,
sales clerk
Adele F. Jester, 94, of Rehoboth Beach, died Saturday, Oct. 29, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes.
Mrs. Jester was a sales clerk for Joan Roberts for 23 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lea F. Jester, and two grandsons.
She is survived by a son, Allan L. Jester and his wife, Patricia, with whom she lived; and five grandchildren.
Services and burial were held at Gracelawn Memorial cemetery, New Castle.

Richard P. “Dick” Jolliff,
retired from DuPont
Richard P. “Dick” Jolliff, 79, of Millsboro, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, at Christiana Hospital, Newark.
Mr. Jolliff was born in Manteo, N.C., and had lived in Chester, Pa. and Wilmington. He was a longtime employee of the DuPont Company’s Edgemoor plant, where he was a control room operator. He was a past member of the DuPont Country Club and was an avid golfer. He was known to always travel with his furry companion, Rebel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary White Jolliff; two sons, Richard P. Jolliff Jr. and Thomas C. Fagust Jr.; and 11 siblings.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jane L. Paulley Jolliff; six children, Irma Jean Jolliff of Greensboro, N.C., Mary Ann Nelson of Nags Head, N.C., Eugene Fagust of Marcus Hook, Pa., Cindy Young of Media, Pa., Jackie Jolliff of Aston, Pa. and Lisa Boulden of Lewes; and five grandchildren.
Services were held at the Pagano Funeral Home, Bethel Twp., Pa., with burial private.
Contributions are suggested to the CHEER Center at Long Neck, Meals on Wheels program, 26089 Long Neck Road, Millsboro DE 19966.

James R. Baunchalk,
avid Philly sports fan
James R. Baunchalk, 66, of Newport, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, in Christiana Hospital, Newark, after a courageous battle with liver disease.
Mr. Baunchalk was born in Minersville, Pa. on Feb. 7, 1939. He enjoyed spending summers in Lewes Beach and Cape Henlopen. He was a 32nd degree mason in the Lafayette Lodge. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Flyers, Eagles and Phillies. He was surrounded n life by an adoring family to which he was deeply devoted.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Eva Baunchalk; and his older brother, the Rev. Andrew Baunchalk.
He is survived by his wife, Alexandria of Newport; his daughters, Bernadette Lister and her husband John of Milton and Robin Ciamaricone and her husband Tom of Newark; and his son, James J. Baunchalk and his wife Toni of Newark; his brother, Ronald of Fenwick Island; his sister, Janet Reimer of Newark; and his grandchildren, Johnny and Chrissy Lister, Tommy and Jessica Ciamaricone, and Stevi, Tyler and Alexis Baunchalk.
Services will be held at noon, Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, with burial in Silverbrook cemetery, Wilmington. Friends may call after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Ruth M. Griffith, 93, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and formerly of Wilmington, died Oct. 27, 2005.

Jeanette Megee Trivits,
Harvest House manager
Jeanette Megee Trivits, 80, of Seaford, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford.
Mrs. Trivits was born in Rehoboth Beach, daughter of the late Maymie Mitchell and Alfred Megee.
She was manager of the Harvest House Restaurant in the Seaford Woolworth’s, retiring after 30 years service. She then worked for the New Shop in Nylon Capital Shopping Center before finally retiring.
She was an avid bingo player. She was especially fond of her grandson and two great-grandsons
Mrs. Trivits was a lifetime member of the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred H. Megee; and a sister, Mildred G. Walls.
She is survived by her husband, P.T. Trivits; a daughter and a son-in-law, Judy T. and Frank W. Morris of Seaford; two brothers, Robert B. Megee of Naples, Fla. and James A. Megee of Millsboro; a grandson, David Allen; two great-grandsons, Dylan Allen and D. J. Allen; and many nieces, nephews, neighbors and good friends.
Services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday in the Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front and King streets, Seaford, where friends may call two hours earlier.
Burial will be in Bridgeville cemetery, Bridgeville.

Irene B. Lee, 94, of Millsboro, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, in Green Valley Terrace, Millsboro.
Mrs. Lee was born Aug. 11, 1911, in Southern Pines, N.C., daughter of the late Neal and Henrietta Brown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harding Lee, in 1974.
She is survived by a niece, Dolores Jones, of Newburgh, N.Y.; and a great-niece, Monica Jones.
Services and burial will be private.
