THERESA LYNN KIMBROUGH
Theresa Lynn Kimbrough, 44, of Panama City, Fla., died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, in her home. She was a lifelong resident of Bay County. She was a clerk for the Six-Ten Jiffy Store on 11th St. for 20 years. Mrs. Kimbrough was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived her husband, David Kimbrough; daughter, Stephanie Lee Kimbrough; son, D.J. Kimbrough; her mother, Margaret Enfinger; brothers, Gerald Enfinger and Richard Enfinger; sister, Donna Dorriety, and numerous nieces and nephews all of Panama City. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Hankins officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Those desiring to may make a contribution to American Cancer Society in memory of Theresa Kimbrough.

CHARLES GENE LONG
Mr. Charles Gene "Chucky" Long, 27, of Panama City, died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, in a local hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Panama City and a pool builder. Mr. Long loved fishing and his children very much. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Long; one son, Charles William Long; one daughter, Faith Marie Long; mother, Susan Ann Sanders and husband, Leonard; father, Mike Long and wife, Cathy; six brothers, Stephen Cousin and wife Sandra, Robert Long, Jody Rhodes and Crystal, Henry Brogdon and wife Mora, Mike Roberts and Gina, and Kenny Rochfordt and Darlene and one sister, Catelynn Sanders all of Panama City and grandmother, Helen Pace of Blountstown. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 27, at 10 a.m. in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon, May 26, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services for William Maxmillian Morar Sr., of Panama City, who died Monday, May 22, 2000, in a local hospital will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Walter Cathey and the Rev. Kellett Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the graveside service. Active pallbearers are the Deacons of First Presbyterian Church: Joe Manning, Russell Jinks, Terry DuBose, Carl Russ, Tommy Duncan, Pat Mathis, Julian Bennett, Talley Bludworth, Frankie Mills, Dr. John Fishel, Deacon Emeritus M.G. JOSEPH ALLEN PINCKNEY
Joseph Allen "Joe" Pinckney, 88, of Lynn Haven, Fla., died Friday, May 19, 2000, at his home. Born in Bennett, Fla., he was a lifelong resident of Bay County. He worked as a pulp room operator and retired from International Paper Company after 34 years. From 1935 to 1941, he was also the bridge tender at old Lynn Haven Bridge, which was located at the end of Wisconsin Avenue on North Bay. Mr. Pinckney was a member of Lynn Haven Methodist Church and National Day Lily Society. His hobbies included photography, hunting and genealogy. He visited France in 1997 including Picquiney, France, where his ancestors originated. He also visited Bishop Auckland, England, where his ancestors emigrated from France during the reign of William the Conqueror. Mr. Pinckney is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Allen Pinckney and Louisiana Missouri Pinckney; and his wife, Alvie Pinckney. He is survived by one daughter, Helen Pinckney Burleson and husband Jerry of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Martin Buford Pinckney and wife Marguerite Herndon Pinckney of Warner Robins, Ga.; two granddaughters, Debra Lesar of Las Vegas, Nev., and Patricia Burleson of Frederick, Md.; three great-grandchildren: Jennifer Mott of Elmira, N.Y., Jeffery Neumann of Groton, Conn., Henry Allen Bridges of Frederick, Md.; two great-great-grandsons, Troy Allen Mott and Tyler Michael Mott both of Elmira, N.Y.; four sisters-in-law: Ruby Crowson, Florence Benton and Malzie Hottinger all of Panama City and Nancy Keel of Southport; six nephews: Kenneth Hottinger, Ronald Keel, Gary Keel, Terry Keel, Fred Walter Pinckney and Martin B. "Pinkie" Pinckney Jr.; two nieces, Phyllis Messian and Sandra Wright. Funeral services will be conducted today, May 25, at 10:30 a.m. in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ken Hottinger officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Gary Keel, Terry Keel, Ray Hottinger, Fred Walter Pinckney, Wendell Gainer and Buford Carter.

LONA P. PORTER
Lona P. Porter, 90, of Marianna, died Tuesday, May 23, 2000, at Jackson Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, she was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Porter Sr.; three sons: James E. (Jack) Porter Sr., Fred Porter and Roland Porter Jr.; and one daughter, Annie Ruth "Ruthie" Brown. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Harrison and Frances Porter of West Palm Beach; two daughters and sons-in-law, Annette and Howard Chafin of Marianna and Jeanette and Allen Locke of Tallahassee; four sisters: Loraine Jones of Cottondale, Daisy Skinner of Marianna, Bertha Pearl May of Tampa and Louise Meadows of Selma, Ala.; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 26, at Maddox Chapel with the Rev. Ron Burger officiating. Burial will follow in Lipford Cemetery with James and James Funeral Home, Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 25, at James and James Funeral Home.

ESSIE GREEN
Mother Essie Green, 85, of 3615 East 2nd St., died Friday, May 19 in Bay Medical Center. Mrs. Essie B. Green, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mack McCray was born in Blue Springs, Ala. She joined Shiloh Baptist church at an early age where she worked faithfully until coming to Panama City. Then she joined Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and later joined Bethlehem Temple Church of God In Christ Written in Heaven. She married to the late Walter Green in 1935. To this union five children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter; two daughters, Emma and Juanita; four brothers: Charlie, Lemmie, Henry and Eddie McCray; and one sister, Grace Richardson. She was a devoted wife and homemaker and prayer leader. She leaves to cherish precious memories three loving and devoted children and their spouses: Arlester McCray of Fayettville, N.C., Mary Jewel Bellamy of Tampa and Janice Corbin of Panama City; two son-in-laws, Mack Bellamy of Tampa, James Corbin of Jacksonville; three sisters: Lalar Pruitt of Los Angeles, Calif., Lizzie Wilson (R.J.) of Panama City and Ruth Rozenblad (Julius) of Youngstown, Ohio; eleven grandchildren: Jarolyn McCray of St. Thomas Virgin Islands, Debra Barker (Jerry) of Panama City, Shedrick Corbin of Jacksonville, Colavito Bellamy (Nina) of Tampa, Catina Blain of Panama City, Sandra Davis (Winston) of Stutgart, Germany, Walter Green of Wichita, Kan., Pamela Lee (Albert) of Tampa, Danyelle McCray, Stephon McCray of Atlanta, Steven Corbin of Panama City; and twelve great-grandchildren: Shedrick Corbin II of Tallahassee, Akia Ashley of Panama City, Winston Davis III of Stutgart, Colavito Bellamy II of Tampa, Brittany Davis of Stutgart, Ashley Bellamy of Tampa, Albert Lee Jr. of Tampa, Journell Blain and Carmeasha Barker of Panama City, Paige Lee of Tampa, Corey Davis of Stutgart, Noah Stephon McCray Jr; two devoted daughters, Dora Davis and Janice Thomas of Panama City; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Green will be held Saturday, May 27 at 1 p.m. in Antioch Temple Church of God in Christ with Supt. John Gipson, pastor and Bishop Frank Stallworth, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Public visitation will begin this afternoon at the funeral home from 1 to 8 p.m. The remains will lie in state one hour prior to service at the church. The family will receive friends at their residence of 3615 East 2nd St., Springfield.

LUE VICTORIA HEWITT
Mrs. Lue Victoria Hewitt, age 80, of 7431 Coe Rd., Panama City, Fla., passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 24, 2000, at her home. She had been a resident of the area since 1971, moving here from New Port Richey, Fla. She was a homemaker who loved fishing, camping, and sewing. Mrs. Hewitt loved to travel with her husband all over the United States. She was also Baptist by faith. Mrs. Hewitt is survived by her husband of 47 years, Chester Hewitt of Panama City; three sons: Donald L. Hewitt and his wife Linda, Danny E. Hewitt and his wife Sherry, and Jimmy D. Hewitt and his wife Darlene, all of Panama City; three children from a previous marriage to the late Mr. Carl Pence who died in the service: Robert H. Pence and his wife Ernestine of Panama City, Carl L. Pence Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Somerset, Ky., and the late Alvis Ray Pence; two brothers, Eugene Simpson and Orville Simpson, both of Kentucky; three sisters: Carolyn Simpson and Ruth New, both of Kentucky, and Dianne Murray of Panama City; eighteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Randy Kuhn officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home today, May 26, from 6 to 8 p.m.

ARGIE MARIE McCOY
Argie Marie McCoy, of 521 East 8th Court passed away on May 17, 2000, at Gulf Coast Convalescent Center. A native of Colquitt, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Phlem and Lillie Johnson. She is survived by six nieces: Sally Benton, Mary A. Johnson, Mozell Bell, of Panama City, Judy Jones of Albany, Ga., Rosa McKinley of Phoenix, Az., and Charlie Mae of Bainbridge, Ga., several great-nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends. Services were by cremation.

KATHY WARREN
Mrs. Kathy Warren, age 54, of 1028 S. Katherine Ave., Panama City, Fla., went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 24, 2000. She was born in Tampa and lived in Quincy until 1967, when she moved to Panama City. She was a homemaker and also drove for Bay Coordinated Transportation. Mrs. Warren was a member of Callaway United Methodist Church and a former member of the NCO Wive's Club. She is survived by three daughters: Janice Tegal and her husband Paul of Panama City, Susan Schenck and her husband Chris of East Hampston, N.Y., and Virginia Warren of Jasper, Fla.; two sons, James N. Warren III of Raleigh, N.C., and Keith Warren and his wife Jean of Key West; sisters: Georgia Ann Beck and Denise Bamburg, both of Camilla, Ga., and Vivian Marie Jones and Nadine Snipes, both of Panama City; brothers, George Collier of Thomasville, Ga., and Wade Collier of Panama City; special aunts, Alice Priest of Quincy and Annie Bly Smith of Jacksonville; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 27, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, May 26, from 6 to 8 p.m.
