ANNIE LEE CURRY LEWIS
Annie Lee Lewis, 103, took her place in heaven Tuesday, May 30, 2000. Sister Lewis was born to Sam and Annie Curry April 15, 1897, in Marianna, Fla. She was educated in the Jackson County School System and later married the late Mr. Amos Lewis Sr. Sister Lewis began her walk with the Lord at an early age, where she joined the Macedonia Baptist Church in Panama City, and was a member of the choir and Sunday School. She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Amos (Mary) Lewis Jr. of Gainesville, Fla.; one daughter, Geraldine Howard of Ypsilanti, Mich.; sister, Myrtis Robinson of Marianna; grandson, William (Toni) Howard of Detroit, Mich.; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Sister Lewis will be held Monday, June 5, at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Louis Lamar officiating. Interment will be held at Buckhorn Cemetery, Greenwood, Fla. Sister Lewis' remains will lie in state one hour prior to the service on Monday. Visitation for Sister Lewis will be at the Gainer Family Funeral Home Inc. today, from 3 to 7 p.m.

TONY MEDINA MILLER
Mr. Tony Medina Miller, 40, of 1716 W. 16th St., died Sunday, May 28, 2000, in National Health Care Center. Funeral services for Mr. Tony Miller will be held today, June 4, at 2 p.m., in Battle Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Lonnie Mitchell, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery.

EMMA H. PARISH
Mrs. Emma H. Parish, 69, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Friday afternoon at her residence after a short illness. Parish was born in Portland, Conn., and moved here in August of 1964. Emma is Methodist by faith and was a dedicated house wife. Mrs. Parish is survived by her husband of 51 years, Mr. George C. Parish Sr.; two sons, George C. Parish Jr. and wife Mary Kay, and David Wayne Parish, all of Panama City; two brothers, Arthur Furhman and wife Pauline, and Paul Furhman, all of New Jersey; one sister, Doris Ebel and husband John of New Jersey; three grandchildren: Laura Helene Parish, Amber Nicole Parish and Murphy Rae Parish, all of Panama City. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 3 at 11 a.m. in the Southerland Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Steve Southerland Sr. officiating. Internment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Del Parker, 61, of 129 Anita Dr., Callaway, Fla., died Friday, June 2, 2000, at her home. She had been a resident of the area for 42 years, coming here from Chipley, Fla. Mrs. Parker loved to work in her yard and her flower garden. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Stanley H. Parker of Callaway, Fla.; a daughter, Skyla Parker of Callaway, Fla.; sons: Eddie Parker and his wife Brenda of Bayou George, Fla., Walter Parker and Dan Parker, both of Callaway, Fla.; three grandchildren: David Parker, James Parker and Kristina Parker; sisters: Tuggie Bush of Century, Fla., Lounette Howard of Callaway, Fla., and Agnes Baxter of Chipley, Fla.; and a brother, Charles B. Kent of Chipley, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents: Nix and Jessie Kent. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, June 4, 2000, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Bob Lee officiating. Interment will follow in White Pond Cemetery in Alford, Fla. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Don Bush, David Baxter, Terry Howard, Danny Lee, Joey Kent and Wayne Lee.

MARY ANN LEGALLEE
Funeral mass for Miss Mary Ann LeGallee, 76, of Indian Pass Beach, Fla., who passed away Saturday June 3 at a local hospital, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday June 5 at the St. John Catholic Church. Father Marty Bratek C.R., Father Roger Latosynski and Father Thom Crandall will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

HELEN LOUISE McDANIEL
Mrs. Helen Louise McDaniel, 76, of 2104 Windjammer Drive in Lynn Haven, passed away Saturday, June 3, at her home. She had been a resident of Bay County since 1957 after coming here from Foley, Ala., and was of the Protestant faith. She served her country in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1945 during World War II. Mrs. McDaniel is survived by her husband, Claude W. McDaniel of Lynn Haven; a son, Grady McDaniel and wife Margaret of Lynn Haven; three grandsons, Gary W. McDaniel of Phoenix, Ariz., David B. McDaniel and wife Cathy, and Allan McDaniel, all of Lynn Haven; one great-granddaughter, Darby E. McDaniel of Phoenix; two sisters, Mary R. Downey and husband James of Tucson, Ariz., and Emma M. Cravens of Pumona, Calif. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Bert Johnston officiating. The family will receive friends at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6.

JULIE ANN SHELL
Julie Ann Shell, 46, of Panama City died Saturday, June 3, at her home. Born in Pekin, Ill., Mrs. Shell moved to Panama City in 1973 from Illinois. Mrs. Shell was also a member of the Springfield Community Church. She is survived by her father, William R. Taylor of Panama City; husband, Rodney D. Shell of Panama City; one daughter, Jamie McDonald of Panama City; one brother, Randy Taylor and wife Carol of Panama City; and four sisters: Nancy Beam of Dennison, Texas, Connie Harris and husband O.W. of Panama City, Sherry Bond and husband Robert of Greensboro, N.C., and Deborah Rosie and husband Charles of Youngstown. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, at the Springfield Community Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Funeral services for Col. Michael A. Kane (retired, U.S. Army) will be held Thursday, June 8, at Mallchok Funeral Home in Parma, Ohio, at 1 p.m., with interment following at St. Theodosius Cemetery. Panihida will be Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. He is the beloved brother of John Kulawczik (Natalie, deceased), Harry (Jean) and the following deceased: Mary, Alex, Stephen, Paul and Andrews. Michael was a dear uncle of Nancy Williamson and Kathleen Costantino and a great uncle to many. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Army.

CECIL RANDOLPH McCLURE
Cecil Randolph McClure, age 71, of Birmingham, Ala., died May 29, 2000. Cecil was a charter boat fishing operator in the Panama City area for a number of years before returning to Birmingham to continue his fiberglass boat and auto repair business. He was retired from Birmingham Fire Department. He is survived by son, Stacy William McClure; and numerous cousins and friends. Graveside services were held June 1 at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham. He will be remembered by a number of local fisherman whom he fished with in Panama City.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Helen Louise McDaniel, age 76, of 2104 Windjammer Drive, Lynn Haven, Fla., who passed away Saturday, June 3, 2000, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2000, at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Bert Johnston officiating. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. today, June 6, 2000.

Arthur Lee Rogers, 64, of Navarre, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 3, 2000. After 30 dedicated years as an Engineer with Sprint-Centel, he retired to Navarre. Mr. Rogers was an Army veteran and vice president of Ivy-House Condominium Association. He was a faithful blood donor to the Red Cross and also an organ donor at the time of his death. Mr.Rogers was a devoted husband of 31 years to Leona Rogers; father of Tim Rogers and wife Ann of Virginia; Lisa Anderson of Ohio; Sharon Bishop of Navarre; Steve Rogers and wife Missy of Fort Walton. He was a wonderfu1 "PaPa" of Brandon Anderson of Ohio, Carrie Rogers of Virginia, Heather and Caitlin Bishop of Navarre and Taylor Rogers of Fort Walton Beach. He was a special brother of James and Emma Rogers of Tampa, Allen and Becky Rogers of Clearfield, Utah, Robert and Beverly Rogers of Arnelia, Ohio, Jesse and Joan Rogers of Southport, Hazel and Roy Barrett of Hamilton, Ohio, Ethel and David Blaschke of Covington, Ky., Georgia and Bill Sams of Goshen, Ohio, Glenda and Greg Lierman of Weatherford, Texas, Mary and Edward Canter of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Norma and Jim Coud of Hamilton, Ohio. Also survived by best friend and brother-in-law, Steve Stewart and Suzanne of Navarre; brother-in-law, James Stewart and Donna of Panama City; and a number of extended family and friends who loved him so much. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today, June 6, 2000, at Emerald Coast Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 7, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Red Cross, 745 D, Beal Parkway NW Unit 11, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547.
