Funeral services for Mr. Christo Christodoulou, age 62, of Panama City, Fla., who died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Aug. 17, at St. John's Catholic Church with Fr. Marty Bratek officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bay County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, 2012 A Lisenby Ave., Panama City, Fla. 32405.

ROBERT HOMER 'BOB' COOK, JR.
Robert Homer "Bob" Cook, Jr., Retired Sr. Msgt., age 49, of 8425 John Pitts Road, Panama City, Fla., died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at his home. Mr. Cook grew up in Miami and traveled extensively in the military before settling in Panama City in 1985. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service. He loved being in his shop and being a mechanic. Mr.Cook was an excellent machinist and enjoyed restoring cars. He was either at work or in his shop. He was in the process of restoring a 1941 Hudson and was constantly helping his buddies with mechanical problems. Mr. Cook was also a member of the Hudson Terraplane Club. He is survived by his sons, Jason Cook and Adam Cook, both of Panama City, Todd Cook and his wife Mary Lou of Tallahassee and Michael Cook of Miami; a sister, Roberta McDonald and her husband Les of Miami; and his mother, Minnie Lee Cook of Miami. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Homer Cook Sr. and a sister, Yvonne Bouquio.

HARVEY LEE CRAFTON SR.
Harvey Lee Crafton Sr., age 55, died Aug. 15, 2000, at Gulf Coast Hospital. He was a resident of Ebro, Fla., and former resident of Somerville, Tenn. Harvey was a member of The Baptist Church and a retired business owner. He is survived by his wife, Karen Crafton; two daughters, Megan Crafton of the home, Tammy Fyke of Memphis; three sons, Mason Robbins of Ebro, Harvey Lee Crafton Jr. of Ebro and Jerry Crafton of Huntingdon, Ind.; one sister, Dianne Moore of Somerville and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 18, at Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home in Somerville, Tenn., with burial to follow at Perry Cemetery in Laconia, Ind.

MARY STEVENS ELLIOTT
Mary Stevens Elliott, of Lynn Haven, Fla., died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, in her home. She had been a resident of Bay County since 1964 moving here from Cleveland, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Elliott. She was a member of St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by three sons, Mark Elliott, Jimmy Elliott, both of Panama City, Billy Elliott and his wife, Sharon of Baton Rouge, La.; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Elliott, Sarah Elliott, Christopher Elliott, Aaron Elliott, Andrew Elliott, Alexander Elliott; four brothers, Lynn Stevens of Daytona Beach, Fla., Larry Stevens of Panama City, Steve Stevens of Cordas Lake, Ariz., John Stevens of Kent, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church with Father Peter Zalewski officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Those desiring to may make a contribution to American Heart Association in memory of Mary Elliott.

EDDIE HAMBRICK
Eddie Hambrick, of 2025 E. 7th St., died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, in the Hathaway-Cheek family, where he had a working, friendship relationship. He was a longtime resident of Bay County and was one of five boys and three girls to Perry and Eunice Hambrick, who resided in the Econfina area. Living siblings are Flora Alexander and Hester Lane. His wife, Rosie Hambrick preceded him in his death. They raised a child, Barbara Pittman. Mr. Hambrick served in the Navy and did various jobs particulary in the plumbing and water business. Graveside services will be held Friday, Aug. 18, at 11 a.m. in Redwood Cemetery with Bishop Lonnie Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow. The remains will lie in state one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Friday.

ALMA LEE JONES
Alma Lee Jones, 94, formally of Wewahitchka, Fla., left her family and friends on Aug. 15, 2000. She was born March 26, 1906, in Gulf County. She was born, raised and lived in Wewahitchka before moving to Bay County in 1989, where she lived in a retirement home. She was a member of First Baptist Chuch in Wewahitchka. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Emily Pridgeon; her husband, John W. Jones; four brothers, Ed, Jack, Harland and Sam Pridgeon all of Wewahitchka; her son, George "Skeet" Jones; daughter, Etta Leola Jones Saunder of Wewahitchka; one grandson, David Saunders of Jay, Fla.; one great-great-grandson, Dillian Gilmore of Wewahitchka. She is survived by her children, John William "Bo" Jones and wife Myrle, Peggy Revell and husband Forest both of Wewahitchka; one son-in-law, John Davis Saunders of Jay, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Mildred Jones of Wewahitchka; nine grandchildren, Donna Drew, Eddie Jones, Paul Saunders, Lagran Saunders, Allen Revell, Gerry Jones, Roger Jones, Susan Taylor and Micah Peak; 11 great-grandchildren, Kevin Gilmore, Kellie Creamer, Kristin Jones, Stacey Jones, Megan Peak, Jesse Jones, John Jones, Christopher Peak, Katie Jones, MacLean Bassett and Mallory Peak; one great-great-grandson, Blake Gilmore; one brother, John Henry Pridgeon; one sister, Minnie Ola McDonald of Wewahitchka; one sister, Micah Coln of Highlands Ranch, Colo; three special friends, Fletcher Patterson of Wewahitchka, Inez McCall of Marietta, and her roommate, Ms. Shirley of Panama City. The family will be at the home of her son, John "Bo" and Myrle Jones, 531 Main St., Wewahitchka. Her body will lie in state at Comforter Funeral Home in Wewahitchka. Visitation will be today, Aug. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. CDT. Graveside services will be held at Jehu Cemetery in Wewahitchka on Friday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. CDT. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Reid Cameron and Mr. Fletcher Patterson. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Eddie Jones, Lagran Saunders, Allen Revell, Gerry Jones, Roger Jones and Dennis Peak.

Ms. Ellen H. Kearns, age 70, of 6027 S. Lagoon Drive, Panama City Beach, Fla., died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at a local hospital. She had been a resident of the area for 41 years, coming here from Talledega, Ala., and was a member of Gulf Beach Baptist Church. Ms. Kearns is survived by her daughters, Kathy Strickland and her husband Ricky of Panama City Beach and Doris Waters of Panama City Beach; a son, Billy Kearns Jr. of Panama City Beach; grandchildren, Sara Naomi Waters, Natalie Strickland, and Trevor Strickland; sisters, Dorothy Coley and her husband Fayne of Gadsden, Ala., and Anne Merkl and her husband Don of Newnan, Ga.; cousin, Jean Sanders Mood of San Antonio, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and several grand-nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 18, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Gregory George officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home today, Aug. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, 1515 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas 77030.

Della Pauline Scott (Nee) Land, 93, of Alford, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at her residence. She was born Oct. 6, 1906, in Wewahitchka, Fla., living the early years of her life in Bay County. She lived in Jackson County for the past 55 years. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Alford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Roach Scott. She is survived by three daughters, Carol Register and husband Jimmy of Cottondale; Donna Rosenia Riddle of Albuquerque, N.M., Peggy Good Gans and her husband Raymond of Montgomery; granddaughter, Donna Fay Lentini and her husband Paul; grandson, Kenneth Grimes and his wife Regina, all of Waldorf, Md., two great-grandsons, Charlie Lentini of Waldorf, Md.; Brian Grimes and his wife Tara of North Huntington, Pa.; two great-granddaughters, Teresa Register of Tallahassee and Amy Grimes of Arlington, Va. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at First United Methodist Church of Alford with the Rev. Bill Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Alford City Cemetery in Alford with James and James Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. NANCY ELIZABETH McCOMB
Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth McComb, age 63, of 105 Bonanza Circle, Panama City, Fla., died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at her home. She had been a lifetime resident of the area and served her country in the U.S. Navy. Mrs. McComb was a member of Callaway United Methodist Church, which she loved, the Hope Sunday School Class, Thursday Morning Ladies League of Tyndall, Monday Night League at Tyndall and a member and treasurer of U.M.W. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and a collector of birds, especially hummingbirds. Mrs. McComb is survived by her husband, Robert McComb Jr. of Panama City; a son, Robert McComb III of Panama City; sisters, Inez Jean Wood and her husband Edwin of Smyrna, Ga., Mary Eunice Turberville and her husband Lloyd of Friendswood, Texas, and Alice Coral Oliver-Tate and her husband Larry of Panama City; a sister-in-law, Daphne Oliver Barron of Panama City; a niece, Tammy Lynn Knight; and nephews, Crawford Lowell Wood, Gregory Edwin Wood, Tracy Alan Wood and Chadwick Lowell Oliver. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, Aug. 17 at Callaway United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jack Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow at Callaway Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are Crawford Lowell Wood, Gregory Edwin Wood, Tracy Alan Wood, Chadwick Lowell Oliver, Craig Massimiani and Richard Clay. Mrs. Tonya Diane Gaston Westry, 33, of 1317 Kensinger Place died Tuesday Aug. 15, 2000, in her home. She was a native of Port St. Joe, and a resident of Panama City for a number of years. She was a 1986 graduate of Port St.Joe High School. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Living God in Panama City. She was preceded in death by her adpoted mother, Ludie Gaston. She is survived by her loving husband, Gary (Ihsan) Westry of Panama City; eight children, Marva Gaston, Aliyyah Westry, Malik Westry, Hadiyyah Westry, Najiyyah Westry, Ismail Westry and Ruqayya Westry, all of Panama City, and Jamaal Westry of Abeline, Texas; father, Ollie Gaston of Panama City; mother and father-in-law, Mae and Alfred Harvey of Mont. A wake service will be held this evening, Aug. 17, from 7 to 8 p.m., at Fellowship Church of Praise, 2511 E. 3rd St. The family will receive relatives and friends at 1317 Kensinger Place.
