LILLIE M. DEMONT
Lillie M. Demont, 73, of Wewahitchka, Fla., went to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 22, after a long illness. She was pre-deceased by her parents, a daughter and two brothers, Jim Hagans and Bobby G. Hagans. Left to cherish her memory is one daughter, Opal Brogdon and husband Danny of Wewahitchka. Three sisters: a twin, Willie McIntyre and husband Donald of Wewahitchka, Wynell Tate and husband Billy of Sneads, Fla., and Pearl Sapp and husband Earl of Panama City, Fla.; one brother, Sammy G. Hagans Sr. and Pat of Wewahitchka; and a sister-in-law, Jean Hagans of Esto, Fla. She left behind six of the most cherished things in her life, two grandchildren, Candi Rhodes and Terry of Wewahitchka, Charles Laird Sr. and wife Brenda; four great-grandchildren, Jennifer and T.J. Rhodes and Tiffany and Charles Laird Jr., all of Wewahitchka. She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She also left behind a very dear friend and caregiver, Gale Nunnery, who spent the last few days of Mama's life administering love, support and never ending care. Lillie devoted her entire life to her family with love, prayers and support. Services will be held at Jehu Cemetery in Wewahitchka today, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Claude McGill and the Rev. Charles Pettis officiating. She will lie in state today at the funeral home until service time.

JAMES M. DOCKERY
Capt. James M. Dockery, age 48, of Independence, La., died Oct. 18, 2000. He was a former charter boat captain in Panama City. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Dockery of Independence, La.; his mother, Vera Rice Wilson of Panama City; daughter, Amy Ricci of Virginia; one brother, Ronald Dockery; three sisters: Beverly Dockery and Dorothy Dockery of Panama City and Debra Schaefer of Singapore. He is being cremated. Services will be held today, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m., dockside, at Lighthouse Marina, before departure for a sea burial.

Mrs. Mary Catherine Harpe Gallante, age 59, of Panama City, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000. A memorial service will be held at Eastside Baptist Church, 236 Kraft Ave., Panama City, today, Oct. 22, at 11 a.m.

MASEL T. JOHNSON
Mrs. Masel T. Johnson, age 91, passed away Sat., Oct. 21, 2000, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Johnson had been a resident of Bay County for five years coming here from Knoxville, Tenn., and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Knoxville, Tenn. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son, Van Johnson and his wife Peggy of Panama City Beach, Fla.; a grandson, Allen Johnson of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sisters-in-law, Julia Troxler of Springport, Ind., and Cleo Hyder of Knoxville, Tenn.; one brother-in-law, Gene Johnson of Nashville, Tenn.; a niece: Carolyn Brown of Knoxville. Tenn. Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be held at the Rose Mann Heritage Chapel, 6200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tenn., with burial following at the Highland Memorial Cemetery.

BESSIE C. LEE
The Rev. Bessie C. Lee, who resided for 29 years at 4118 Sue Lane, Panama City, Fla., died at the age of 88. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Life and Praise Assembly of God Church with the Reverends Price, Broome, Dean, Glover and Corley presiding. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, E. 15th St. Active pallbearers will be her nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be all pastors and ministers. The Rev. Bessie Lee was a greatly loved Assemblies of God Minister for 66 years. Survivors are her husband, Rev. J. Howard Lee; daughter, Betty "Bailey" Lee; grandson, David Judah; brothers, Johnny and James Corley; and nieces and nephews. Visitation at the funeral home will be Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. The family will be receiving friends and staying at the home of Bessie Lee's daughter, 4126 Cherry Lane, Springfield.

MARY REEDER LINTON
Funeral services for Mary Reeder Linton, 86, of 7312 Sale Blvd., Southport, who passed away Oct. 20, 2000, at the home of her brother, Clifton Reeder, in Southport will be held Monday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 3140 State Ave., Panama City, with Bishop Jeffery Linton conducting. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Visitation hours will be today, Oct. 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the home of Clifton Reeder, 7331 Sale Blvd. in Southport. Those desiring may make a contribution in memory of Mary to Hospice of Northwest Florida, 2589 Jenks Ave., Panama City, Fla. 32405 or a charity of your choice. Active pallbearers are Robert Linton, Richard Linton, Cullen Hartzog, Jeffrey Reeder, Adam Reeder, and James Reeder.

ROGER B. LUCKE
Mr. Roger B. Lucke, 94, of Lynn Haven, Fla., died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, at his home. He retired from General Motors in Cincinnati, Ohio, and moved to this area in 1974. He was an avid golfer until his death and was a member of the Panama Country Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda, and is survived by one son, David B. Lucke and wife Julie Ann of Brighton, Mich.; one daughter, Linda Schvdlich and husband Gary of Reno, Nev.; one sister, Marjorie J. Hanes of Palm Bay, Fla.; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Memorialization will be by cremation.

RICHARD H. 'MACK' MCDOUGALL
Richard H. "Mack" McDougall, 50, of Panama City, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2000, in a local hospital. A lifelong resident of Bay County, Mr. McDougall was a member of the Bayou George House of Prayer. He was also the first fire chief of Cedar Grove, past chairman of Cedar Grove planning committee, and a former Cedar Grove city commissioner. He is survived by his mother, Mamie McDougall of Panama City; two daughters, Sheila Marshall and husband Anthony of Fountain, and Laurie Vick and husband Allan of Panama City; two brothers, Duncan McDougall and Bob Roberts and wife, Nora; one sister, Janice Ouellette and husband Rene; eight grandchildren and numerous family and friends in Bay and Franklin counties. Funeral services for Mr. McDougall will be conducted on Monday afternoon, Oct. 23, 2000, at 1 p.m. in the Southerland Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Homer Hutto and the Rev. J.W. Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Callaway Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends this afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

WILLIAM JAMES 'JIMMY' WALKER
William James "Jimmy" Walker, 49, of 311 Pinetree Drive, Panama City Beach, died Thursday evening, Oct. 19, 2000, as a result of an automobile accident. Having moved here in 1999 from Prattville, Ala., he was a serviceman with Oasis Screen Company of Panama City Beach and a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City Beach, Fla. He is survived by his wife, Candy A. Walker, Panama City Beach; one son, William James "Jamie" Walker Jr. of Panama City Beach; one step-son, Christopher "Chris" Dutton of Prattville, Ala.; three daughters, Jennifer Conway of Wetumpka, Ala., Maria Walker and Jymie Louise Walker, both of Panama City Beach; one brother, Michael David Walker and wife Susan of Prattville, Ala.; and three grandchildren, Candice, Kaliegh and Kyle. Memorial services for Mr. Walker will be conducted this afternoon at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Panama City Beach with the Rev. Jerry Weaver officiating.

The funeral services for Maurice Bynum, 92, of Panama City, who died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, in a local hospital, will be held today at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Britton officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Those desiring to may make a contribution to the Endowment Fund of St. Andrew United Methodist Church in memory of Maurice Bynum. MICHELLE LAMB
Michelle Lamb, 37, passed away Thursday, Oct. 20, 2000, in Panama City. Born in Macon, Ga., she had been a resident of Mexico Beach and Wewahitchka for the past five years. She was a resident of Fort Payne, Ala., before coming here. Everyone who crossed her path will miss her. Survivors include her son, Cody Lee Paris of Fort Payne, Ala.; parents, Annette C. Moss of Wewahitchka and Curtis B. Lamb of Tallahassee; her grandparents: Annie Nally of Rydell, Ga., and Dewey and Dorothy Lamb of Macon, Ga.; sister, Ronda Lamb of Wewahitchka; brother, Bubba Lamb of Winter Haven. Memorialization will be by cremation.

LEE EDWARD ROBERTSON
Mr. Lee Edward Robertson, 53, of 7726 Blueberry Road in Panama City passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2000, at his home. Mr. Robertson had been a resident of Bay County for 10 years after coming here from Atlanta, Ga. He was a member of the Silver Sands Coin Club and was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife, Carmen Robertson of Panama City; daughter, Sharon Hancock of Panama City Beach; one son, Lee Farmer of Panama City; two grandchildren, Ian Farmer of Panama City and Taylor Hancock of Panama City Beach; and sister, Carol Norris of Rome, Ga.
