Funeral services for Mr. Hollie "Bo" Lee McDonald III , age 48, of Panama City Beach, Fla., who passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, will be held 10 a.m. today, Nov. 22, 2000, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leon Jenkins and the Rev. Rudy Guta officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

DONALD ALLEN BECK
Mr. Donald Allen Beck, 46, of Panama City Beach, Fla., passed away on Monday, Nov. 20, 2000, in a local hospital. Born in Pensacola, he moved here in February of this year from Key West, Fla. He was employed as the chief engineer, heating/AC maintenance with Hilton Inc. He was a Christian and a Baptist Promise Keeper. Mr. Beck is survived by his mothers, Mary E. Long of New Jersey and Mattie Lucille Gilley-Beck of Alabama; his wife, Mary Ann Beck of Panama City Beach; two daughters, Season Yvonee Beck of California and Melissa Rene Santa Cruz of Alabama; five brothers, Jimmy and Ronald Beck both of Florida, Fred Gilley, Richard Beck Jr. and Jeff Beck, all of Alabama; four sisters, Mary Edith Forsythe of New Jersey, Yvonne Rotter of Alabama, Frieda Duvick of Louisiana and Donna Cheesebrew of Alabama. Mr. Beck has gone on to be with his granddaughter, Raven Tyler Santa Cruz who preceded him in death. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Nov. 27, at 11 a.m. in Bayview Funeral Home Chapel in Foley, Ala., with the Rev. Gregory Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Gilley Memorial Cemetery in Lillian, Ala. Visitation will be held in Foley on Monday two hours prior to the funeral service. Visitation will be held locally on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. with a memorial tribute to be given at 7 p.m. by the Rev. Rob Woodrum.

FRANK RONALD DANIELS
Funeral services for Frank Ronald Daniels, 72, of Panama City, who died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at his home, will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Jewel Gilbert, Billy Hawk, "Sonny" Skipper, Edris Whitehurst, Martin Garrick and Modelle Dudley. Honorary pallbearers are members of Bay High Class of 1947. Those desiring to may make a contribution to their favorite charity in memory of Frank Daniels.

ARTHUR EVANS SLAASTED
Mr. Arthur Evans Slaasted, age 74, of 6527 Harbour Blvd., Panama City Beach, Fla., died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at a local hospital. He had been a resident of the area since 1988, coming here from Rolling Meadows, Ill. Mr. Slaasted was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a MoMMC and was a 56 year member of American Legion Post No. 320, Racine, Wis. Mr. Slaasted was an avid supporter of school functions and activities and also had coached Little League. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Virginia Slaasted of Panama City Beach; a son, Jeffery Alan Slaasted and his wife Lois of Richmond, Va.; a brother, Jerome Slaasted and his wife Nancy of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Steven, James, Kinsey, Corey, Chelsea, Lauren and Evan Slaasted; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Scott Slaasted. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 24, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with the Rev. David O'Shea officiating. The family will receive friends at the church, Friday, Nov. 24, from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m., prior to service time.

OLEN F. 'RED' ARLEDGE
Olen F. "Red" Arledge, 69, died Nov. 18, 2000, in Eupora, Miss. He was a retired truck driver and was a veteran of the Air Force. Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 20, at Wise-Nowell Funeral Home in Eupora with the Rev. Gene Foshee, of Cumberland Baptist Church, officiating. Interment followed in Spring Valley Cemetery. Mr. Arledge was survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Arledge of Maben, Miss.; daughters Jo Ann Atkins of Mathiston, Miss., Linda Knapp of Dothan, Ala., Kathy Parnell of Cumberland, Miss., Peggy Bare of Panama City, Fla., and Cindy Arledge of Panama City; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

LOUIE 'JACK' COKER
Mr. Louie "Jack" Coker, age 71, of 1440 Luckie Ave., Panama City, Fla., died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at a local nursing facility. He was born in Geneva, Ala., and had been a resident of the area since 1942, coming here from Hartford, Ala. Mr. Coker was a custodian for the City of Springfield for 17 years, retiring in 1993 and was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. He enjoyed doing yardwork and enjoyed his dogs. Mr. Coker is survived by his daughters: Sandra White and her husband Wayne of Southport, Fla., Cindy Woolever and her husband Russ of Marianna, Fla., and Stephanie Coker and her fiance Aaron Mavromat of Springfield, Fla.; a son, David Coker and his wife Debbie of Blountstown, Fla.; a brother, Roy Coker and his wife Nell of Marianna, Fla.; aunts, Lucy Walker and Texie Daniels; an uncle, Joe Smith; his former wife and friend Sarah Barber of Springfield, Fla.; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000 at Kent - Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buddy Glass officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Joe Schulte, Russ Woolever, Carl Dean Daniels, Melvin Grisset, and Ben Coker. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. today, Nov. 24, 2000.

Infants Ariel Diana Dean and Anthony Decarleious Dean Jr. passed away Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at a local hospital. They are survived by their mother: Tabatha Goodwin of Panama City, Fla.; father, Anthony Decarleious Dean Sr. of Panama City, Fla.; sisters, Whitney Durant and Faith Morgan, both of Panama City, Fla.; maternal grandmother, Audrey Goodwin of Panama City, Fla.; paternal grandmother, Mary Dean of Callaway, Fla.; and numerous aunts and uncles. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, at Callaway Cemetery with the Rev. James Brogdon officiating. Interment will follow.

MIWAKO IKEGUCHI
Miwako Ikeguchi, 73, of 2906 Kings Drive, Panama City, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, in her home. She had been a resident of Panama City since 1968. She was an avid golfer, and member of the Panama City Country Club, where she had won numerous club championships. She held a teaching degree in flower arranging and was also a painter. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Ikeguchi Jr. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Ikeguchi Sr. of Panama City; two sons, Michael Ikeguchi and his wife, Lisa of Indiana , David Ikeguchi and his wife, Janet of Orlando, Fla.; daughter, Ruby Wood, of Southern California; daughter-in-law, Shirley Ikeguchi of Panama City; eight grandchildren, Joey, Michele, David, Sara, Kelly, Alexandra, Clare, Travis; and two sisters, Chizuko Hamagaki, Sumiko Ishii, both of Japan. Memorial services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Those desiring to may make a contribution to Hospice of Northwest Florida in memory of Miwako Ikeguchi.

MRS. ELLIE CATHERINE LIESEMEYER
Mrs. Ellie Catherine Liesemeyer, age 80, of Youngstown, Fla., died on Wednesday, November 22, 2000, at a local hospital. She was a native of Greensboro, Fla., and had been a resident of the Bay County area since 1961, moving here from Gaston, Ala. With her late husband Alfred, she owned and operated the Flamingo Motel on Panama City Beach for 20 years. She was a dedicated wife and mother who was always there for her family. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting and was a member of the Panama City Sewing Guild. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was active with the Mary & Martha League. Mrs. Liesemeyer is survived by sons, Herman "Tom" Liesemeyer and his wife Marchand of Youngstown, Michael E. Liesemeyer and his wife Patti of Pensacola; daughters: Elaine Densmore and her husband Michael of Wilsonville, Ala., Betty Pylant and her husband Joe of Morris, Ala.; brothers: Maxwell Fletcher of Quincy, Fla., Herbert Fletcher and his wife Gwen of Tallahassee; nine grandchildren: Keith Liesemeyer, Scott Liesemeyer, Michelle Edmondson, Melissa Densmore, Aimee Llewllyn, Jacob Densmore, Kayelyn Liesemeyer, Katie Pylant, Logan Pylant; and two great granddaughters: Megan Liesemeyer and Savannah Edmondson. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend Edward Meyer officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Wayne Kramer, George Pedley, Jimmy Tatum, Raymond Dean, Don Anderson, and John Hamre. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. today, November 24, 2000.

Mrs. Freddie Mae Patterson, 71, of 204 Helen Ave. died Sunday, Nov. 19, at her home. She was born Nov. 25, 1928, in Washington County to the late Bill and Georgia Ann Lee. She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted husband, Jessie Lee Patterson; one loving daughter, Pamela Patterson of Panama City, Fla.; five devoted sons, Johnny (Minnie) Patterson of Reseda, Calif., Andre (Mamie) Patterson of Simi Valley, Calif., Henry Patterson of Panama City, Fla., Charlie (Marilyn) Patterson of Memphis, Tenn., and Michael Patterson of Panama City, Fla.; six grandchildren, Labrena Sims of Panama City, Fla., Samantha Patterson of Atlanta, Ga., Terica Patterson of Panama City, Fla., Kizzy Patterson of Tallahassee, Fla., Juan Patterson of Reseda, Calif., and Tharyn Patterson of Tallahassee, Fla.; four great-grandchildren; a special friend, Mrs. Eunice Brown; a host of other relatives and friends One son, Albert Leon (1969) and one daughter, Mary Ann (1995) preceded her in death. Funeral services for Mrs. Patterson will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, at 1 p.m. on what would have been her 72nd birthday, at Anitoch Temple Church of God in Christ with Supt. John M. Gipson officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. Public visitation will begin this afternoon at the funeral home from 1 to 8 p.m. The remains will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. The family will receive friends at their residence at 204 Helen Ave. in Springfield.
