Mrs. Elizabeth F. Pryor, 73, of Panama City Beach, passed away Nov. 23, 2000, in Glencove Nursing Pavilion. Born in Geneva County, Ala., she was a longtime resident of Bay County. She was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God Church of Panama City Beach. Her son, Jerome Pryor preceded her in death. Mrs. Pryor is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Mr. J.C. Pryor of Panama City Beach; devoted granddaughter, Shannon Pryor of Panama City; a daughter-in-law, Connie Pryor of Panama City; one brother, James Bell of DeFuniak Springs; and one sister, Virginia Gouge of Panama City Beach. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at 10 a.m. in the Southerland Family Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Paul Ensminger, the Rev. David Nichols and the Rev. Baldwin Holmes officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Lee Cater, Justin Cater, Ryan Cater, Al Harris, Alan Harris and Guy Pettis. Honorary pallbearers will be all members of her Sunday School Class, Lloyd Swearington and Charles Stevenson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m.

VIRGINIA P. REEVES
Mrs. Virginia P. Reeves, 78, of 8629 S. Holland Road, Southport, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2000, at her home. She moved here from Virginia and Alabama in 1983. Mrs. Reeves retired as a bookkeeper and was a Baptist by faith. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at 10 a.m. at the Lynn Haven Cemetery.

GEORGIA P. CRABDREE
Mrs. Georgia P. Crabdree, 86, of 1027 E. Business Highway 98, Panama City, passed away Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, in a local nursing home. She was born on Oct. 20, 1914, in Maries County, Mo., and moved to Wewahitchka in the early 1970s and then to Panama City in 1996. She was a retired medical receptionist and Protestant by faith. Mrs. Crabdree is survived by her brother and sister, Carl Isenberg and Margaret Bradley, both of Missouri; special sister-in-law, Alma Hahn of Oklahoma City, Okla.; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Shirley and Bill McNamara. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at 3 p.m. in the Garden of Memories with Mr. Steve Southerland II officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., before the funeral service.

ALICE "MAMA" MACHICH DEAN
Alice "Mama" Machich Dean, 80, of Panama City, died Thursday, November 23, 2000, in a local hospital. She was born October 24, 1920 in Johnstown, Pa., the daughter of John & Stanka Tomevich Machich. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Dean, and three brothers, Samuel Machich, Milan Machich, George Machich. She was a member of the Harvest Worship Center. She was a retired lunchroom assistant manager for the Bay County School System. She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Bryan and her husband, Tilman J. "Jimmy" Bryan, Rosalind "Roz" L. Ellis, all of Panama City; three grandchildren, James Bryan and his wife, Candice of Panama City, Tech. Sgt. David Ellis and wife, Diane of Humboldt, Neb., Master Sgt. Ron Ellis and wife, Debby of Spokane, Wash; sister-in-law, Louise Machich of Richmond, Va.; 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held today, November 26, 2000, at 3 p.m. in the Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. John Ramsey officiating. Those desiring to may make a contribution to Harvest Worship Center in memory of Alice Dean.

OZEE LAYTON GRAY
Mrs. Ozee Layton Gray, 84, of Panama City, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, at a local hospital. She was born in Meigs, Ga., and had been a resident of Panama City for 40 years, coming here from Tampa. Mrs Gray was a homemaker and enjoyed making crafts for her friends and raising and selling Chihauhuas. She was Baptist by faith. Mrs Gray is survived by her husband of 55 years, Malcolm Gray of Panama City; step-daughters, Carolyn Waldren and her husband Michael of Goldsboro, N.C., and Marilyn Watts and her husband Mark of Dallas, Texas; a sister-in-law, Sarah Layton of Timmonsville, S.C.; a nephew, G. Alex Layton of Columbia, S.C.; a niece, Rachael L. Clank of Columbia, S.C.; grandchildren, Keresa Waldren, Cameron Waldren, Allen Nguyen, Kevin Nguyen and Marissa Nguyen. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Louis Rogers and Myrna Kay Carnley officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov.27, 2000.

LARRY R. GREEN
Mr. Larry R. Green, 83, of Panama City passed away Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, at his home. He was born in Terra Haute, Ind., on May 8, 1917, and was the son of Oliver Green and Gertie Steepleton Green. He was a veteran of World War II in the South Pacific Ordinance AA, serving in the U.S. Army. Before retiring he lived in Tulsa, Okla., where he was employed at Riverside Airport with Ross and Cannon Aviation. He was also a member of the Quiet Birdmen. Mr. Green is survived by his wife of 38 years, Norma Waybright Green; three daughters, Rachel Green Long of Panama City, Virginia Green Rutgliano of Yorktown, N.Y., Judy Pohl of Tulsa, Okla.; one brother, Oliver Green of Kansas City, Kan.; four sisters, Ruby Green, Ida Mae Nichols of Wauwatosa, Wis., Dorothy Jones of Edgerton, Mo., and Beverly Gillum of California; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at 1 p.m., in the Southerland Funeral Home Chapel.

MIWAKO IKEGUCHI
Memorial services for Miwako Ikeguchi, 73, of 2906 Kings Drive, Panama City, who died Wednesday, November 22, 2000, in her home, will be held today, November 26, 2000, at 1:30 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. FRANCES WINIFRED GILL KIND
Mrs. Frances Winifred Gill Kind, 78, of St. Andrews, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at a local nursing facility. She was a native of St. Petersburg, and lived in this area for many years. Mrs. Kind was the former manager of Mattie's Cottages in St. Andrews in the 1940s and was of Protestant faith. She is survived by a brother, Arthur Lee Gill of St. Andrews; a sister, Bea Moates of Chipley; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Kind; and a son, Arthur Allen Kind. Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m., today, Nov. 26, 2000, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with the Rev. J.W. Hunt officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., today, Nov. 26, 2000. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that friends "Pick an Angel" from local Angel Tree charity drives in Frances Kind's name. The family would also like to express special thanks to the staff of Emerald Shores Nursing Facility for the excellent care given to Mrs. Kind.

LONNIE LEE DYKES
Mr. Lonnie Lee Dykes, 85 of 409 Spring Ave., Panama City, passed away Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, at a local nursing facility. Mr. Dykes was a native of Marianna, and had lived in Panama City since 1984, moving here from Sneads. He was a service station operator and did small engine repair. Mr. Dykes was a member of the Sneads Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Smith Dykes of Panama City; a stepson, Freddy Carter and wife Patsy of Panama City; a stepdaughter, Dorothy Davis of Chipley; one sister, Eloise Hollister of Marianna; three brothers, James Dykes and wife Peggy of McDonough, Ga., Dewey Dykes and wife Opal of Southport, and Gene Dykes of Sneads; eight step granddaughters and two step grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Early and Martha Dykes, and brothers Wallace and Hodges Dykes. Funeral Services will be held today, Nov. 26, 2000, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Buford Carter and the Rev. Lewis Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden Of Memories Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be, Kenneth Kelley, Marty Dick, Pete Boyette, Roy Johnson, Jake Pippins and Archie Carter. CALVIN G. McKINNEY
Calvin G. McKinney, of Brooksville, Miss., passed away Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, in a hospital in Columbus, Miss., after a lengthy illness. He was born Nov. 6, 1936, in Panama City. He attended local schools and entered the U.S. Army after leaving high school. He served in France, Korea, and served two tours in Vietnam. After leaving the Army he worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Panama City office. In 1980 he went to Columbus, Miss., where he served as lock operator on the Tombigbee River until he retired in April, 2000. He was a member of the Brooksville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Osmond and Lois McKinney of Panama City. He is survived by his wife, Jean, of Brooksville, Miss.; a daughter, Sandy Caudill and husband Roger of Freeport; sons, Ricky Kesler and wife, Carla and Billy Kesler of Brooksville, Miss.; sisters, Evelyn Ferguson of Panama City and Ruth Lane of San Marcos, Texas; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Memorial Funeral Home of Columbus, Miss. Full military honors will be rendered.

CARL E. SLASEMAN
Carl E. Slaseman, 86, of Southport, died Thursday, Nov, 23, 2000, in a local nursing home. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Southport Assembly of God Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Betty Slaseman of Southport; two sons, Donald Slaseman, of Polk County, and Gerald E. Slaseman of Orlando; a daughter, Nancy Johnson of Dover, Pa.; sister, Caroline Krone of New Berrytown, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held today, November 26, 2000, at 3 p.m. in the Southport Assembly of God with the Rev. Sellers officiating.
