Judith (Teall) Guthrie, 59, of 507 Otto Rd., died Nov. 27, 2000. She was a longtime employee of Bay Coordinated Transportation. She was a member of Parker United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Boyd Guthrie, mother, father, seven brothers and sisters, several nieces and nephews. She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Ursery and her husband Tim, Gwennie Catlett and her husband Toy; five grandchildren, Jarreth, Joshua, Taylor, Jamie, and Alexis; five brothers and sisters, Eileen McCoy and husband Dody, Lorraine Conner, Clarence Teall and wife Betty, Jean Keim and husband John, Joan Meyers and husband Jimmy; special friends, Ken Sanford and Ed Poole, loving niece and best friend, Mary Anna Smith. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in Parker United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Malson officiating. Interment will follow in Parker Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m. Active pallbearers are Tim Ursery, Toy Catlett, Cecil Melvin, Jimmy Meyers, Ira Mack, and Rex Wagner. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Keim and Jason Luckie.

Funeral Services for Mr. Bobby Hammonds, age 65, of 4808 Park Blvd., Parker, Fla., who died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, will be held 2 p.m., today, Nov. 30, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.W. Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at Callaway, Fla. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Don Hagler, Arthur Mashburn, Albert Cumbee, Jim Knowles, Arthur Brian Hammonds, J. M. Burkett, Lance Spivey, and Michael Stokes, M. D. Honorary pallbearers will include: Donald Terrell, Tommy Burkett, Craig Cotton, Arthur Benjamin Hammonds, Mark Lafon, Harry Payelle, Jack Stewart, Mickey Hooker, and Joshua Knowles.

Graveside funeral services for William Frank (Bill) Mosley of 2203 Beck Ave., Panama City, Fla. who passed away unexpectedly in his home over the weekend, will be held today, Nov. 30, at 4 p.m. in Oakland Cemetery with Ernest Spiva officiating. Those wishing to may contribute to Epilepsy Association of the Big Bend, 1108B East Park Ave., Tallahassee, Fla. 32301 in memory of William Frank Mosley. Active pallbearers are John Pope, Phillip Armsbruster, David Fuller, Glen Smith, Anderson Barnes, and Steve Reuban. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Smith, Julian Bennett, Dr. Tim Smith, Rusty Holloway, Richard Johnson, David Cole, Johnny Conrad, Joe Bullock, Ernest Spiva, Ted Haney, Dr. Michael Walker, Clay Strange, Mark Brooks and Freddie Ring. The family will receive friends after the service at the Whitehurst home, 1612 W. Beach Drive.

MYRTLE SANDERS
Mrs. Myrtle Sanders, age 79, of Sanders Lane, Springfield, Fla., died Tues., Nov. 28, 2000, at a nursing facility in New Port Richey, Fla. She has been a lifetime resident of the area and was a homemaker. Mrs. Sanders was a member of West Bay Assembly of God Church and was very faithful in her love of the Lord. She loved fishing, gardening, and loved to cook for everyone. Mrs. Sanders is survived by a son: Bobby Sanders and his wife Brenda of Newport Richey, Fla.; grandchildren, Ben Sanders and Renee Sanders, both of Youngstown, Fla.; sisters, Theresa Holley Sowell and Dorothy Sowell, both of West Bay, Fla.; Nell Attaway and Lillian Ward, both of Youngstown, Fla.; Lola Grant of Panama City, Fla.; and Viola Lindsey of Ponce De Leon, Fla.; brothers, Pete Callahan of Tallahassee, Fla.; and Dick Callahan and Bob Callahan, both of West Bay, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Mr. P. M. Sanders; her parents, Albert and Orpie Callahan; and three brothers, Lawrence Callahan, James Callahan, and Junior Callahan. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Fri., Dec. 1, 2000 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Johnson, Rev. Warren Wright, and Rev. J.L. McGarrity officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Lloyd Swearington, Charles Swearington, Richard Rice, Tony Rawls, Joey Callahan, Donnie Callahan, and Bobby Callahan. Mr. Roosevelt Douglas Sr., 97, of Fort Walton Beach, died Nov. 24, 2000, in a Destin Healthcare Center. He was a native of Ebro, Fla., and a retired landscaper. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. CST on Saturday, Dec. 2, at St. Luke A.M.E. Church near Ebro with the Rev. Jerome Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in Beal Memorial Cemetery, Fort Walton Beach, with Cooper Funeral Home of Chipley, directing. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie Douglas of Fort Walton Beach; a son and daughter-in-law, Roosevelt Jr. and Royce Douglas of Chipley; three daughters: Mrs. Willie B. Woods of Quincy, Dr. Thema D. Woods of Vernon, and Mrs. Connie Montgomery of Fort Walton Beach; a sister, Mrs. Eva Douglas of Cottonwood, Ala. The remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.

Linda R. Hall, age 54, of Port Richey, Fla., died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, in Ocala, Fla. She was a sales manager for Nobility Homes. She is survived by two daughters, Courtney Butler of Parkersburg, W. Va. and Andrea Bradley of Port Richey, Fla.; one sister, Floydada, Texas; two grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.

Mrs. Mary Byantha Rich, of 7820 Deerfield Lane, Panama City, Fla., died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000, at a local hospital. She was born in Crisfield, Md., and had lived in the Panama City area since 1992, coming here from Charlotte, N.C. Mrs. Rich was a homemaker and attended Life and Praise Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting, but her main interest was her family. Mrs. Rich is survived by her husband of 44 years, James "Jim" Rich of Panama City; a son, Dr. Edward Lee (King) Parkinson and his wife Carolyn of Panama City; grandchildren: Gaye Lee Burnham and her husband Lee of Panama City, Mary Ann Ellis and her husband Leon of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Steven James Parkinson and his wife Sonya of Crestview, Fla.; great-grandchildren: Carolyn Burnham, Elizabeth Burnham, Megan Burnham, and Lauren Parkinson; brothers: Stanley Killman and his wife Ruth of Charlotte, N.C. and LeRoy Killman and his wife Donna of Columbia, S.C.; a sister, Mabel Campbell and her husband Jim of Burnsville, N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Dec. 1, 2000, from 6 to 8 p.m.
