Jerry Everage and the Rev. Mark Chandler officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Mr. Robert O. "O.B." Bryant, 85, of 720 Satsuma Ave. died Jan. 19, 2001, in a local nursing center. He was a native of Youngtown, Fla., and a lifelong resident of Panama City. Funeral services for Mr. Bryant will be held today, Jan. 27, 2001, at 2 p.m. in Zion Hope Baptist Church 1520 Louisiana Ave. with the Rev. Frank Jones officiating. Interment to follow in Hillside Cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church today from 11 a.m. until service time. The family will receive relatives and friends at 720 Satsuma Ave.

ELIZABETH CARUSO
Elizabeth Caruso was born January 23, 1911, and died Jan. 18, 2001. She was a loving mother, devoted wife, wonderful friend and one of the world's coolest women ever. She is survived by her son, John Caruso; two grandchildren, Micki and Skye; a niece, Ronnie Carpenter of Panama City Beach; adopted niece, Denise Ciccarelli; two brothers-in-law, Eugene Caruso and Sam Caruso; two sisters-in-law, Anna Wolters and Rosa Bellamy; nieces, Barbara, Cecily, Laurilyn, Linda, and Valerie; nephews; Andrew, Bobby, and Ronald, and several cousins, grandnieces and nephews and a coterie of loving friends. Services will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday at 2 p.m. The family will receive visitors after the services at her home.

BETTY HOLLEY FOGG
Mrs. Betty Holley Fogg, age 86, of 2038 Orlando Rd., Panama City, Fla. died Thursday evening, Jan. 25, 2001, in a local hospital. Born in Cottondale, Fla., she moved here in 1941 from Jackson County, Fla. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Hiland Park Baptist Church. She volunteered with the Council on Aging and was instrumental in starting "Meals on Wheels" in Bay County. Mrs. Fogg is survived by one son, George Kermit Fogg of Panama City; one daughter, Lilyan Lewis of Panama City; four grandchildren, Stacy Elizabeth Lewis of San Diego, Calif., Monte Dauphin and husband Greg, Daphne Strebeck and husband Virgil, and Crystal Fogg all of Panama City; five great-grandchildren: Tiffany Dauphin, Megan Dauphin, Casey, Stormy and Tabith Strebeck; sister-in-law, Marie Holley; nieces, Evelyn Gamble, Cheryl Chaffee and Jean Vickery; nephew, Phillip Holley. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. in Hiland Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Pickerill officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Jackson County. The family wll receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

MARGIE MCMULLEN INGRAM
Mrs. Margie McMullen Ingram, age 79, died Jan. 25, 2001, at Glen Cove Nursing Pavilion. She was born in Graceville, Fla., and came to Panama City in 1938 and worked as a nurse in Adams Hospital. She later worked as a nurse and teachers aide at the Margaret K. Lewis School for Exceptional Children for 17 years, until her retirement in 1986. Mrs. Ingram was a long-time and active member of St Andrew Baptist Church and a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband, J. B. Ingram of Panama City; a son and daughter-in- law, Carl and Nancy Jones of Shakopee, Minn.; one grandson, David Jones of Raleigh, N.C.; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Gayle and Jill Ingram; a sister, Mary Lee Cole of Orlando; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack Raymond and Betty Grant of Panama City; nieces, Joel Grace Leuenberger and her husband George of Panama City; Sylvia Grant Cody and her husband Robert of Orlando; Debbie Adams and her husband Jerry of Sugarland, Tex.; a nephew, Jack Grant of Atlanta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Joel and Carle Lee Grant; her son, Michael McMullen; her sister, Maude Grant Johnson; and her brothers, W. O. Grant, Hubert Grant, and Alfred Grant. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 28 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Harrison of St. Andrew Baptist Church officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include: Charles Nichols, Howard McAdams, Tommy Leuenberger, Jay Kirkpatrick, Carl Ward, and Michael Dudley. Honorary pallbearers will be: members of Friendship Sunday school class of St. Andrew Baptist Church. BILLY WAYNE KAY
Mr. Billy Wayne Kay, age 53, of 7303 S. Deer Haven Road, Southport, Fla., died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, at a local hospital. He has been a lifetime resident of the area, was a member of the Harvest Worship Center, and employed by Gulf Power at the Lansing-Smith Generating Plant for over 30 years. Mr. Kay served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietname War. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Rita Kay of Southport; two daughters, Crystal Kay of Lynn Haven and Stephanie Nichole Kay of Southport; a special nephew, Jason Cox of Southport; three sisters, Eula Pitts of Bayou George, Pat Musson and her husband Richard of Southport, and Marie Jordan and her husband Jimmye of Lynn Haven; nieces and Nephews, Debbie Cowan and her husband Gary, Angie Trusty and her husband Michael; Mary Ann Upfold and her husband David; Amm Pitts and his wife Nancy; Cindy Bivins and her husband Randy; Sherry Reid and her husband Ronnie; Ricky Musson and his wife Angie; Tracy Crooks and her husband Vinny; Tina Bullard and her husband Dave; and Jimmye Jordan Jr. and his wife Stacy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Effie Nunnemaker and a sister, Delorise Cartwright. FRANK MESSER
Mr. Frank Messer, 73 of Panama City, Fla., died Thursday morning, Jan. 25, 2001, in a local hospital. Born in Bonifay, Fla., he moved here in 1963 from Phoenix City, Ala. He was a commercial food representive for Benson Wholesale Grocery Inc. and he also served as caretaker of Emerald Spring Ranch for over 28 years. Mr. Messer was a member of the Hiland Park Baptist Church and a Veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Messer is survived by his wife Charlotte Messer of Panama City; three sons, Ricky Joe Messer and wife Cindy of Lynn Haven; Timothy Charles Messer and wife Kitty of St. Augustine, Fla.; Aaron Zebb Messer of Panama City; five daughters, Jody Winter and husband Eric; Debra Couch of Alphretta, Ga.; Tambra Long and husband Thomas of Jacksonville; Kimberly Purvis and husband Don of Panama City; Cynthia DelMarco and husband Nick of Pensacola; two brothers, Raymond Messer of Bonifay, Joe Messer and wife Jan of Micanopy, Fla.; two sisters, Opal Patronis and husband Johnny of Panama City Beach; and Nancy Meredith of Panama City; thirteen grandchildren. Mrs. Bertha Mae Robinson Porter, 59, of 1008 East 10th St. died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at her home. BARRY O. STRASSNER
Chief M.SGT. Barry O. Strassner, retired, U.S.A.F., age 57, of 6020 Ivy Rd., Callaway, Fla., died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at the U.A.B. Hospital in Birmingham, Ala. He has been a resident of the area since 1982, moving here from Anchorage, Alaska. Chief M.Sgt. Strassner enjoyed fishing, hunting and all kinds of outdoor activities. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing. Chief M.Sgt. Strassner is survived by his wife, Doris Strassner of Callaway; a son, Brian Strassner of Callaway; a daughter, Christy Tolbert and her husband Ricky of Sandy Creek; four brothers, Dale Strassner of Hughesville, Penn., Larry Strassner of Watsontown, Penn., Terry Strassner of Turbotville, Penn., and Randy Strassner of Raymond, N.H.; two sisters, Charlotte Huff of Watsontown, Penn.; and Florence Strassner of Dewart, Penn.; his mother, Anna Strassner of Turbotville, Penn.; three grandchildren, Corey and Cassy Tolbert of Sandy Creek; and Austin Strassner of Callaway; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Freeman Strassner and a sister, Bonnie Strassner. NANCY ANDERSON
Nancy Anderson, 88, of Cincinnati, Ohio, a 19-year resident of Bay Point, Fla., died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at Anderson Mercy Hospice. She was preceded in death by her husband Wolford Anderson and is survived by two daughters, Anne Fisher of Cincinnati, and Virginia DuBois of Atlanta, Ga., and three grandchildren. Services are today in Cincinnati.

MILDRED ANN WALLACE DUNKER
Mildred Dunker, 93, died on Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, in Panama City. Mildred was from Cincinnati, Ohio, and lived in Lakeland, Fla., for 40 years. She attended St. Dominic's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence B. Dunker, also of Lakeland and Cincinnati. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Nixon of Panama City; and one son, William L. Dunker and wife Donna of Howell, New Jersey. Mildred is also survived by six grandchildren, Kathleen Tinsley and husband Pat of Panama City; Michael Nixon and wife Annette of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; David Nixon and wife Andrea of Roswell, Ga.; and Shannon, Dani and Billy Dunker of Howell, New Jersey. In addition she left behind nine great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica and Jillian Tinsley; Jake, Joey, Mickey, and Savannah Nixon; Dylan Nixon; Corbin Weidman. Other survivors include a niece, Sue Moehring, and nephew, Tom Wallace of Cincinnati; and a nephew, Tim Hays and wife Sandy, of Albany, Ga. Memorialization will be by cremation. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Panama City on Monday, Jan. 29, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or The Hospice of Northwest Florida.

MARIE HARRELSON JOHNSON
Mrs. Marie Johnson, 72, of 104 Hill Drive, Callaway, passed away early Saturday morning in a local hospital. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband Mr. Samuel Johnson of Callaway; her two sons and daughters-in-laws, Mr. Terry Johnson and wife Connie Marie of Lafayette, La.; and Mr. Rick Johnson and wife Ann Marie of Palm Harbour, Fla.; sister and brother-in-law Mrs. Betty Carter and Rev. Wilfred Carter; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Chad, Stephanie Marie, Savannah Marie, Sierra Marie, and many other close family members too numerous to mention. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker, as well as a partner to her husband both during his career in the Air Force and as a local private business owner before their retirement. Marie's life travels led her through Italy, Germany, Japan and all across the United States. She was a member of the Hiland Park United Pentecostal Church as well as the First Pentecostal Church of Chipley, Fla. She was recently honored as "Mother of the Year" for her service to church community in Chipley, Fla. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2:00 p.m. at the Hiland Park United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wilfred Carter, Rev. James Caudle, the Rev. Ron Baker and the Rev. Robert Glass officiating. Interment to follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Charles Walker, Chris Walker, Gary Johnson, Roger Andrews, Terry Hinote, and Ed Burns. Mrs. Johnson's family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Mon., Jan. 29, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
